The place is a f*&%ing joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ordered online ahead of time. The store was NOT busy at all. I was the only online order and the order was not ready when I got there. The employee could not find the parts I ordered and was moving like friggin molasses. Never said two words to me either even though I asked a few questions, was very polite and even thanked him. I got outside and realized 2 things were missing from my order. I went back in and finally.. HE SPOKE .. "uh.. I only gave you two?" 1) No clue how to do their job 2) No clue where things are kept 3) RUDE! 4) Have lead in their ass 5) Can't count = Go somewhere else. I called on the phone and asked for a specific brand of brake pads for my car to ask for pricing and availability. The ignorant lady who answered the phone told me they carried them. I asked what level they were because they come in basic, middle grade and premium. She said they carry all three and gave me the prices and said that they all come with a lifetime warranty (free replacements). They price was very cheap so I asked her to double check that is the brand and stock number that I was looking for. She rudely said it was. Of course when I got there.... She was quoting me the price for the store brand brake pads and not the brand I called about. They didn't have any of the brand I was looking for in stock and they don't have any warranty from the store. The two men helping me at the store apologized and were helpful in showing me where to find other parts and products I was looking for. This is the reason for 2 starts instead of 1. I guess if you are in the area and need auto supplies this national chain is fine but if you need specific parts make sure that the person you're talking to knows what they are talking about before making the trip to the store or purchasing. read more

Went in to buy a battery for my friends Honda Pilot and some windshield wipers. The battery was $200 and the wipers , Rain X, bran $70.00 for the set. We asked the clerk to install the battery, they have big signs up saying they offer complimentary battery installation. From the confused look on his face you would think I just asked him to rebuild the motor in the parking lot. When he came outside he looked at it and said he couldn't install it. I said why not and he responded , "policy". I said, then get me some tools and I will do. He comes back with a ratchet and socket. I got the hold down off but it kept slipping off the bolts on the terminals, when I looked at the socket it was a 7/16. Really dude it's a Honda. Foreign car , metric tools. SO I went inside and said, this isn't working I need a ten millimeter socket. You would have thought I was speaking Greek or Klingon from the confused look I got and a response of that doesn't work? He goes off and comes back about five minutes later and says , I have and 11mm. Really? It is a 10 mm nut why the hell would you come back with an 11mm, it won't work. So off he goes again, after about another five minutes his co worker asks if I need help. I'm like , you guys obviously need help because your guy doesn't know foreign cars require metric tools and thinks an 11mm is the same as a 10mm. SO he goes off and they miraculously find the elusive 10mm socket so I could finish installing the battery. What should have taken ten minutes took 30. I really don't blame the kid, he was young, probably 20 or so. I blame the store for not training him. Lesson 1, Japanese Car metric tools. Lesson 2 the sockets are different sizes for a reason. I am still not certain what policy prevented them from changing the battery because the store in Covington had zero problem changing the battery in my Pilot. I guess maybe the intake tube over the battery scared him but it lifts off easy. read more

I always order parts online and use the discount to save money. My parts are always ready and I never have a problem picking them up at the store. Last week I bought a new battery online and the team membership checked my old battery to find out it was still in good shaped. He cancelled my order and saved me $120. They also went out of their way to find out what sensor I needed to fix my check engine light. I will go back to this location when I need parts or help. read more

Ordered on line which offered a 15% discount for orders over $100, my order was $278 and also offered a $15 gift cars. When I placed my order there was NO place to put in a code for the discount so I did not get a discount. When I went to see about the gift card that was offered it sent me to a completely different web site and wanted not only my name and address but also my credit card info. Why do they need my credit info to send me a gift card. Beware of Advances WEB SITE. They post offers and then DO NOT follow through with them. I only ordered from them so my parts would be ready for pick up and thought the 15% discount would be nice to have. Will never do it again read more
