Very helpful staff that made sure our truck was safe for the long road trip from South Carolina to Colorado

Husband gave me car light that needed to be replaced. Asked in the store, if they carried the item & was pointed to an aisle. No help. Not one of the assistants asked; "May I help you," "Do you need help?" Nothing! It took me awhile to figure out exactly the right item. No thank you after payment either. Called today, 6/20/24 after speaking with someone, we were put on hold for a while and then the call was dropped. When we called back., and explained what had occurred to someone else, the man that answered said "we are busy, make it quick" . He didn't want to provide his name initially and then said " Kevin" which obviously is probably not his name. The call was at 6:43pm., I'm sure you can figure out who was working. He's rude, and needs better customer service training! Upon further review, his real name is Alex, which explains why he lied about his name, and he is the Asst Manager. When we mentioned to other people that have gone to that business, everyone knew who we were talking about, his name and title! read more

My key fob was not working on my rental car and the company recommended that I get the battery changed. It never did work, but the staff here tried everything to help me. They really went above and beyond. read more

We were fortunate enough to arrive here with our boat, Alex was amazing in assisting us purchase all the tools we needed to remove our tire and be back on the road. By the way it wasn't the regular tire change this was a mission. Thanks Alex ! read more

This store can be hit-or-miss depending upon the employee. Being female, I often have employees treat me as dumb based on my sex. As an example, I was purchasing the Mobil 1 0w20 oil on sale in the 5 quart container and it came with a free Fram oil filter. First, the employee asked if I only needed 5 quarts. Then, he asked what vehicle it was for and proceeded to tell me I needed 6 quarts. I told him I needed 5 and that he was looking at a previous model and not the current model. He shrugged and said they should be the same. Next, he charged me full price. I pointed and said the sign says blah blah blah. He said "that is only if you take the free Fram oil filter." I said, I use an oem one. He shook his head and insisted I take the free Fram filter to get the advertised price. I let him scan the filter, paid the sale price and handed the filter back to him and said "give it to someone who needs it." He stared blankly as I left with my oil. Buying a 5 quart container of oil should not have been this complicated. read more

My battery died the other day and I came into the store tonight with no knowledge on how to change it. Even though they were understaffed, Al took the time to come out to my car and teach me how to do it(even with his bad back). The world needs more people like AL. Whatever he is getting paid. He deserves a little bit more. I will come back to this store solely because of this experience. read more

This 5-star rating is for a specific employee/customer service rep named Al. He has helped me--above and beyond--with boat/car battery issues, and his guidance has been VERY helpful. I cannot recommend him (at this place) highly enough. Another attentive employee was Hiram. Some of the others seem less engaged--perhaps busy or distracted; they provided "basic" if unenthusiastic, support. read more

If you are looking for customer service with a side of auto parts, this is the store for you. On the way back from vacation, I ran into some electrical charging issues with my car and "AL" was there to test the system for me. He treated us with great courtesy and relayed the values of honesty in the auto parts and auto repair industry. There was no obligation for him when I asked him for suggestions or ideas but he did provide me with options that I would have not have known unless I was a local and for that, I appreciated his insight. AL helped me keep my car roadworthy for my family. I realize that Central Florida is an entirely different market with different demographics but a few of the Central Florida stores can certainly use a customer service refresher from him at his Key Largo store. read more

Alex helped us with purchasing wiper blades and installing them for us. He was delightful and we appreciated how cheerful/warm/inviting he was. He did not make me feel dumb when and questions about wiper blades. read more

Store employee Alex is a God send! He helped me with find the right fuses for the car on a long trip back home from the Keys when I had an emergency. Thank you Alex for going the extra mile and demonstrating that there are still upstanding, friendly, professional, caring people in this world. Worst customer service for an advanced. If you bring them a dead battery that was bought 3 weeks ago they will not honor the warranty. They will tell you it is good and yet not put it back on the shelf and give the one next too it. Will be giving my business to Napa or a local business from now on. read more

Had a dead battery and made an online purchase. I told Harmin when he was asking about the core that there was someone outside chain g a battery and that I was going to have him install the new one and would bring in the old battery. I parked and stood stand right next to the F350 that the employee was installing a battery for. When he was done he pushed the cart with the tools and blew right passed me telling me, "the guy who sells it, installs it." What an asshole. I then go inside and tell Harmin I need it installed- he plays dumb and then tells me to wait as he goes and take a shit for 10 minutes. I asked for the tools to install it myself and the first asshole wouldn't give them to me. read more

The store was convenient but did not have the parts we needed. I gave it a 4-star because the customer service was good but store lacked parts for trailers. In Key Largo there are not a lot of options and with the limitations it would be better if they stocked up on all needs. We ended up at Napa and found the parts needed. read more
