This location has the worst customer service. First of all their hours are 7 to 7. I called from…read morearound 5:45 to 7 PM yesterday and could not get an answer. I called back this morning at 7 AM. I couldn't get an answer until 7:14 AM. The boy that answered the phone. His name was Chris. I gave him my information and because he was still asleep he asked me for the information again, and I repeated it. After he gave me a list of pricing for tires I told him to give me the least expensive one. He told me the total. Throughout the conversation, the boy was very sluggish. He was almost slurring his words. I said to him rise and shine before I could even say the rest of my words he hung up the phone. Now I also worked in the service department for a Honda and Penske. There is no way in hell that I could've hung up the phone on a customer. I didn't even bother going there to buy the tires. I went to Discount tires and got a better deal with exceptional customer service from Colin! Colin should go to Walmart and teach them or I could teach them if they'd like. At any rate, Chris needs to be retrained. He also needs to learn how to have manners character and respect. It'll help get him through this world. Cost may be important, but great Customer Service wins the deal!

Before I walked through the door, there were three employees playing around in the bay closest to the door. They stopped, watched me walk in and watched me wait for a few minutes at the counter for someone. One of the guys finally stuck his head in the door and asked what I needed. When I told him I wanted to see about an oil change, he looked at me and said very condescendingly to pull my car up to the bays as if I should have known to do that all along. I've never been to this auto center and just moved to the area. When I walked out the door, he said pull into the 2nd bay and started playing around with the other two guys. I walked to my car and left. I don't mind having fun at work and playing around but I do mind terrible customer service. I would rather spend the extra money with an auto shop that speaks to me as if I'm not an inconvenience or stupid.

I went and bought it, got the paperwork showing a 30 day guarantee and then installed it. The PUMP was bad and it did NOT push fluid. As you might know, that's PRETTY important to a transmission. Had to take it out. I called him 5 times trying to get my money back. The answer I always got was "I don't have that money". He offered to let me trade it back in on other merchandise, but since I live in Tennessee and it's such a long drive, that's a complete waste of time and he wanted MORE money from me. I wouldn't buy ANYTHING from McDaniel auto parts. They are not interested in giving you your money back if it's junk. I removed the transmission from the truck and ended up having to spend a lot more money on a completely different until because I couldn't trust that the unit was good. VERY FRUSTRATING, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL REFUND. I notice that he no longer advertises a warranty on his parts, that's because the yard is very old. BUYER BEWARE, you buy it, you own it from this guy...
