I went and bought it, got the paperwork showing a 30 day guarantee and then installed it. The PUMP was bad and it did NOT push fluid. As you might know, that's PRETTY important to a transmission. Had to take it out. I called him 5 times trying to get my money back. The answer I always got was "I don't have that money". He offered to let me trade it back in on other merchandise, but since I live in Tennessee and it's such a long drive, that's a complete waste of time and he wanted MORE money from me. I wouldn't buy ANYTHING from McDaniel auto parts. They are not interested in giving you your money back if it's junk. I removed the transmission from the truck and ended up having to spend a lot more money on a completely different until because I couldn't trust that the unit was good. VERY FRUSTRATING, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL REFUND. I notice that he no longer advertises a warranty on his parts, that's because the yard is very old. BUYER BEWARE, you buy it, you own it from this guy... I work out of town so I didn't have a need to use it for a couple months. I tried to use it and it would not start. I took it back and of course they were happy to charge me another $51 to look at it. They got it to start but would not start for me. I purchased a compression tester and discovered the blower only had 70 PSI of compression. Now I have over $300 wrapped up in an old blower that needs to be completely rebuilt. Do not use these people. Any shade tree mechanic can throw parts at something without doing any troubleshooting. Instead of checking my vehicle or asking what oil it takes, the employee immediately started lecturing me about how bad it was that my car was low on oil and that I needed an oil change right away. I understand that driving low on oil is serious, but I came in asking for help, not to be talked down to. I ended up buying three separate bottles that totaled over $32, only to realize later that they weren't what I needed. When I came back the next day to return them, the refund itself was processed, but I noticed I wasn't given a customer copy of my receipt. Since I've received one during previous returns, I went back and asked about it because I wanted proof that the refund went through. While trying to explain my concern, I kept getting interrupted. When I finally said, "Can I please finish speaking?" the employee told me I was being "aggressive," which I found really disrespectful. Asking to finish a sentence is not being aggressive. Mistakes happen, and I understand that policies vary, but customers deserve to be listened to and treated with respect. This experience left a bad impression, and I'll most definitely be taking my business elsewhere.

Before I walked through the door, there were three employees playing around in the bay closest to the door. They stopped, watched me walk in and watched me wait for a few minutes at the counter for someone. One of the guys finally stuck his head in the door and asked what I needed. When I told him I wanted to see about an oil change, he looked at me and said very condescendingly to pull my car up to the bays as if I should have known to do that all along. I've never been to this auto center and just moved to the area. When I walked out the door, he said pull into the 2nd bay and started playing around with the other two guys. I walked to my car and left. I don't mind having fun at work and playing around but I do mind terrible customer service. I would rather spend the extra money with an auto shop that speaks to me as if I'm not an inconvenience or stupid.

Fast forward to today (2 weeks later), I took my vehicle to Tire Doc just for them to tell me I have 3 BAD TIRES & that they did not balance my tires at all when putting them on.
