This was my go to location when I first moved to Atlanta. The staff is always friendly and they actually pay attention and seem to listen to the concerns of customers who are trying the DIY approach to care care. This location seems to be a little cleaner than those that are more in town. Maybe there's not as much traffic so not as much littering but I've also seen the employees in the parking area picking up trash and cigarette butts. Like any Auto Zone, they are happy to help check batteries and replace windshield wipers and have always given me extra advice about how to keep the Jeep in one piece! read more

The store manager was completely rude to me. I was returning a light that I was sold that was the wrong light bulb. Not to mention the young man who sold it to me sold me the wrong item, made me think he knew what he was talking about by telling me that he couldn't install it because he would have to remove too many parts. He tried but was wrong and then she made me feel like I was trying to get over on them by returning the item. She was harsh and told me that's not the same item on the receipt . I don't need to get over on someone for 13.00. She was terrible and made me feel like I'll never shop there again. I will contact the head office because she was the worst. read more

Could not get other auto parts places to help change out a burned out headlamp. Went to Autozone 0597 on 2440 Lawrenceville Highway. They were great helping me choose a new set of headlamp bulbs. Kenya braved a hot day to take out two vey stuck lamps in my car. She was a real trooper and persevered in a most challenging task. She got those lamps out with the assistance of the rest of the staff. A very professional and helpful team of folks at this store. You can always count on them doing their best for their customers! I want to say this auto zone is the real MVP hands down I went to two different autozone and not one person wanted to come out to help me check why my car was jerking but great thanks to Carlos Garcia he immediately got the code reader to see if anything would pop up and nothing so he went out his way to check my engine one more time and we found out I was very low on transmission fluid and thanks to that guy my car is back up and running smoothly again. Went to have my battery checked, they said it was 0% charged. They said they would charge it and test it. After over an hour, I was informed that I had a "bad" battery and would need to buy a new one. After spending $148 on a new battery. The next day my husband checked the alternator to discover it was faulty. He then went back to this Auto Zone and asked to see my "old" battery. An employee tested the battery again and discovered it was 100% charged and a good battery. I am furious for being lied to because I am a woman. However I am thankful to the store manager and the parts sales manager for making the situation right. read more

Some of the worst customer service I have ever seen. The guy working the register ignored people waiting to the point that the guy on front of me just left after waiting forever just to check out. No one wanted to help ith any questions. Then, I had to bring something back and the guy had an attitude like I was wrong for returning something that was the wrong size! Went across the street and they were much nicer. Very helpful, even answering questions about the parts. Don't bother stopping here, go next door to O'Rielly's. read more

After a not so good day with car problems, I stopped into this Autozone to inquire about windshield wiper fluid and to see if someone could look at my car to let me know if I had a leak or maybe a hose became disconnected since I couldn't get it to spray on my front or back windshield. Patrick, the customer service guy, was super nice and walked out to my car to look at my fluid tank. He said it looked low so maybe putting some fluid in it would help and it would spray. He poured an entire bottle in (didn't realize I was that low) and the rare spray started working, but the front still wasn't. He checked the hose as much as he could and said it looked fine from what he could tell. He said I would have to take it some place for actual service at this point. He was friendly, and didn't try to rip me off by trying to sell me more expensive windshield wiper fluid. He went with the generic cheap brand and I can't thank him enough for his help. I will definitely go back to this Autozone if I have any other small car issues that I know they can help me with! read more
