From the moment I arrived, the customer service was outstanding. I came in needing a new battery, and the experience was honestly one of the best I've had. Not only did the employee change out my battery, but he walked me through the entire process, teaching me step-by-step how it's properly done. They lubricated the terminals correctly, ensured everything was put back exactly the way it should be, and made sure my car was running perfectly before I left. You can tell they truly care about the customer's experience and take pride in their work. If you're in need of a battery, car part, or just genuinely good customer service -- this location is the place to go! I highly recommend it. I walked in with no appointment to get a slow leak plugged in my tire. They were so personable and made me feel very comfortable. The mechanic found the issue immediately, which was a screw I apparently had run over. He plugged the hole after removing the screw, and even checked the air pressure in all of my tires without my even asking. I was in and out in 20 minutes and couldn't believe the price the owner charged me... $10!!! It was the exact same price they charged me 8 years ago in 2018 when I had brought in my previous car for a slow leak! I then tipped the mechanic $10 for doing such a great job and being so sweet. I give this repair shop my HIGHEST recommendation!

No stars I had a…read moredisappointing experience with the warranty process. I purchased a Duraboost lithium battery for over $200, someone made a mistake and didn't spell the name right on the account and when it failed, I had to go through days of back n forth eventually the store manager, Brian, did replace it under warranty, which I appreciate. However, I was then sarcasticly told me the replacement battery has no warranty at all. That doesn't make sense to me. What if this one fails!? If the original battery had warranty time remaining, I believe the replacement should be covered for the remainder of that original warranty period--not lose all warranty coverage the moment it's exchanged. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed . I hope Cycle Gear reviews this because it's not what most customers would expect after spending over $200 on a premium battery. Be careful!

There are places you walk into knowing immediately whether they care…read more And then there are places like Cycle Gear, where you realize--about thirty seconds in--that you're in good hands, even if you personally don't know a clutch from a clothes hanger. Full disclosure: I don't ride. I tried. I flunked out of motorcycle school like a cautionary tale told around a campfire. But my girlfriend Julia does ride--and this is her shop. From the outside, Cycle Gear looks exactly how it should: clean, professional, confident. No intimidation. No macho nonsense. Just a place that says, "Yeah, we know what we're doing--come on in." Inside? It's organized, dialed-in, and stocked like a proper armory for two wheels. Helmets, jackets, gloves, tech--everything where it should be, nothing sloppy, nothing chaotic. But here's where it matters. Julia comes here for real help. Not sales pitches. Not eye-rolling. Not "you'll figure it out." She's had her Bluetooth helmet setup handled here, patiently, clearly, and professionally--by people who actually take the time to explain things and make sure it works. I stand there nodding like I understand anything, and they still treat both of us with respect. And that's rare now. We live in an era where "customer service" usually means someone pointing vaguely at a QR code and disappearing. At Cycle Gear, they show up. They help. They care. They follow through. No attitude. No rush. Just competence and decency--the stuff that used to be normal and now feels like a small miracle. So while I may never ride, I know this much: If you're trusting someone with your safety, your gear, and your ride--this is exactly the kind of place you want in your corner. For taking care of Julia. For knowing their craft. For proving great service still exists.

First off, the staff are friendly and approachable. They took the time to listen to my concerns and explained the issues with my car in a way that was easy to understand. It's clear they value their customers and are more interested in building long-term relationships than making a quick buck. The pricing is always fair, and they were transparent about the costs upfront, so there were no surprises when came time to pay the bill. Overall, we highly recommend Dr Brakes to anyone in the neighborhood. Whether you need a routine service or more extensive repairs, you can trust them to take good care of your vehicle without any of the usual stress. We were sent here and Ron took great care of us! We brought it during the holiday season, so we expected it would be busy. Really happy with this repair shop. Even when we came to pick it up, Ron said, Oh, I didn't wash it, and then looks at the headlights and says, Let's buff these out. We stayed about 20 minutes more, and it looks fantastic! Check my photos and compare the right and left headlights!
