Josh, the assistant manager, came out to parking lot and did full diagnostics test on 1. battery, 2, generator, and 3. alternator. All were completely fine. Turned out the problem was a loose cable clamp on one of the battery terminals. Which he then tighteded at no charge with his wrench and pliers. Outstanding integrity. I bought replacement cable clamps to put on later, because they were in pretty bad shape. $12, total. Josh gave me name of local repair shop that could do it for me inexpensively and on short notice. Didn't do it then, but a day later my newest favorite outfit in Aberdeen, SD did. (See my YELP review of Gellings Auto Service and the great work they did on my brakes....)

My check engine light was on and I was told I needed an oxygen sensor. The mechanic didn't tell me…read morethere were two. The store clerk did. (I do not remember his name) He said he could have them by the end of the day. I said I was going out of town and didn't have time. He suggested a cleaning compound that is added to the gas that cleans the catalytic converter and oxygen sensors that might work. It did. After following the directions he gave me the light is out after one tank of gas. It may or may not be a permanent fix but without his help I wouldn't have even known to look.

I knew what I wanted very specific after hours of comparing brands, vehicles and models and trying to price out what I could afford. Joseph made it happen. He asked me questions about my life helping to narrow down which vehicle might fit my family and me best. He also patiently listened to and answered all my 900 questions without judgement. He found me something even better than what I thought I wanted. Buying a car takes awhile and even the manager, Leonard took time to bring me snacks and water. He made me feel welcomed.
