Anyhow I needed to get some new wipers for my car as my current wipers were not working as good as they used to. I also needed to get some cleaning supplies to clean the interior of my car. In the past I have usually picked up these supplies at any number of big box stores. Then I thought to myself, there is an O'Reilly close to my office, I should check them out. I stopped in one morning and was greeted as I walked in and asked if I needed any help. I explained that I was looking for some wipers and some cleaning supplies. The gentleman walked out to help me and asked if the wipers were for my Toyota. While I was surprised, I was equally impressed that he recognized the type of car I had when I pulled up. I usually like to get Rain-x wipers. They are more expensive but work much better. The good news is I noticed they had a sale going on for $8.00 off a set of wipers. The bad news is they were out of a number of sizes including the size I needed. Without hesitation this gentleman offered me a different set that he explained were as good if not better than the Rain-x. While I thought for a quick moment he proceeded to tell me he would match the sale price for these other wipers. Sold! That's a great deal! He then showed me their cleaning supplies and what he recommended. This was about as good of an experience as you can have. From my receipt the gentleman that helped me is named Mike. I'll definitely be back to O'Reilly whenever I need anything for my car.

Had a super experience here recently before a roadtrip. Wanted to get new wiper blades and light bulbs since I tend to do a lot of night time driving. Staff were busy, probably about a half dozen customers in the store. I normally look for the items myself via vehicle parts search on their website; found them, brought the items up to the register. A really kind and knowlegable gal (and here, I'm apologetic that I don't remember her name) helped me by verifying that I was getting the correct blades/bulbs for my vehicle (they weren't lol). She helped me get the correct stuff and even offered to help replace them for me--I was very grateful. I've switched out blades/bulbs on my own, but she was so kind and patient while she did that for me. She really gave me a moment to just be still and collect myself from the hectic day I was having. She also did not make me feel less than, or dumb, or anything like that at anytime, she was perfectly calm and confident about it all. Thank you, gal from AutoZone. You gave me peace of mind, and my family and I had a very safe roadtrip.

It sounded like someone was ordering a part over the phone. Anyway, I wait for about three minutes for her to finish the call. Once she is finished, I start to tell her that I have a light out on the left side of my car. In the middle of me talking, she answers the phone and tells me to wait. No, I was not going to wait any longer. I got off my ass and actually physically came into the store to be helped. I would think that I would take priority over a phone call order, especially since I had already waited. I just walked out and she continued to take the order on the phone and she called after me, "Sorry". Yeah. Sorry you lost a customer for life.

Recently I took it in for an oil change, tire rotation and general service. I don't drive a lot because I work from home, so it was a day or so later that I noticed - when they removed the oil change sticker they had put on my windshield at the last visit, they completely fucked up the tint on my windshield. Then they just slapped another sticker over it, like nothing had happened lol! I called them immediately and they asked me to email them a photo, which I did later that evening. I got a reply back that they had received the photo and would get back to me in a day or two. A day or two passes and I heard nothing. So I reach back out and let them know I had not received a response. Then another few days pass, and I reach out again. So not only did they not PROACTIVELY admit their fuckup - which I get it, shit happens, but you have to be professional when it does and let your customer know what you fucked up and how you're going to fix it. And sometimes there's just a bad apple who doesn't represent your business well. So they put the onus on me to bring their fuckup to their attention, and now they are conveniently ignoring me. My last email to them was to let them know that I will be pursuing legal action in small claims court if I don't hear from them again in a few days. Because getting the entire tint job redone is going to set me back probably $5-600 with labor.

GMC had been unable to locate a new (that is to say "on a shelf for the past nineteen years") rear differential for the car. They had, however, unearthed a used assembly, but eventually determined it to be unsatisfactory for some unspecified reason. After a wasted morning, I was summarily dismissed with a greasy handshake, an excessive diagnostics bill and best wishes for finding a suitable mechanic to fix the problem that GM-trained technicians were unable to resolve. I found just such a mechanic across from the Holiday station in St. Boni. Kyle (the eponymous namesake of the Bearded Mechanic brand) searched the Internet for a proper rear differential and--in less than five minutes--located a new (unused) one. Kyle's sunny optimism was a welcome change from the apathy that was prevalent at the General Motors dealership. Kyle and his employee Isaiah (also a bearded mechanic) repaired the car in a single day at a reasonable cost. (The lavish price of the differential was set by the online seller.) My car now runs flawlessly and I couldn't be more pleased. If there is a drawback to having a car serviced by The Bearded Mechanic(s), it's that exceptional service inevitably results in a waiting list. I highly recommend The Bearded Mechanic (in fact, both of them).

I documented and THIS DEALERSHIP didn't allow me to work directly with the technician. Compare that with Morries - I absolutely recommend them- where the technician was honest with me that Hyundai F'ed up (MY word) their PHEV HVAC system - that the floor heat is prioritied last - when outdoor is under 20 degrees and lower don't expect floor heat. WHO EVER THOUGHT WE NOW NEED TO ASK if the heat will work in the winter? To add more facts: dashboard heat was 60 degrees warmer than the floor when all heat is directed to feet only (logged over 2 months with a meat thermometer) - I brought all my testing to LUTHER and they said - hybrids are known for this. NO THEY ARE NOT! My Lexus worked great. Regardless, it is working as designed. Although I purchased the 10 year service plan, Luther had made the sale and post sale - if you don't fit into their troubleshooting flow chart - get the customer out the door. Why i am not happy with Luther is the ego - that nothing I said mattered. ON THE OTHERHAND, Morries totally cared and agreed with everything I said BUT EXPLAINED to me what the criteria he needed to prove so that corporate would assist us. We own 2 Hyundais and the other isn't PHEV and works great. We were up for purchasing a car but FOR SURE NOT WITH LUTHER dealerships and not a Hyundai. Luther dealership FAILED to be honest during the sale. The PHEV HVAC system is a known customer complaint. Luther would only follow their process - that it is working as designed - however it certainly doesn't meet Minnesota requirements. My previous car was a Lexus Hybrid and LOVED IT! The only reason I let it go is it wasn't tall enough when competing with semi trucks and SUVs. So my suggestions is if working with Hyundai be sire the HVAC system works and no to Luther bit a HUGE YES to Morries.
