The worst customer service you will ever receive. The "mechanics" who can barely change an air filter on a Corolla seem to hate conversing with any customers. Don't have a job or business where you have to manage customers if you're that miserable. If you were paid for a job previously and it's abundantly clear that YOUR BUSINESS installed the parts incorrectly, that customer should be a priority, especially when they're left stranded in negative temperatures. This is the only place I will ever get my car fixed in MN. I had my brakes done there monday for incredibly cheap, and it is hands down the best result i have ever had from brake work. Its like a whole new car, and it was done in 4 hours with a free loaner. This place really seems like a family operation, all the guys appear happy and very helpful even though they're neck deep in oil and grease. Never ever go to this auto shop!! The so called manager mike is so disrespectful! My boyfriend brought his smart start in to get repaired on 3 seperate times in one week and each time they did not fix it and the manager mike claimed that it worked when he did it and he can't fix something that's not broken! Absolutely bull shit! He also either didn't put back or broke the hood lever release in the cab because it was completely missing!!! And when I called to complain about customer service mike answered and proceeded to be an asshole on the phone and hung up on me. Nothing but good things to say about these guys. I appreciate having mechanics I can trust when it comes to what parts to repair and when, especially if a broken part will result in a larger more expensive repair. The pricing is competitive and the location, though slightly out of the city, was no more than a 13 minute drive from south minneapolis which was shorter than driving into uptown. This is absolutely the best place around. I've been bringing my vehicles here for 4 years now. The first time I brought my car in to get a 2nd opinion on a $2,000 invoice I got from another place. Marley told me straight up that the other place was trying to scam me and fix stuff that didn't necessarily need fixing. They did only the work that needed to be done, they did it well, and it was inexpensive. Fast forward to today -- I made a deal on a new (used) vehicle and I called and asked if they could inspect it for me prior to buying. They squeezed me into their schedule and inspected the vehicle, and charged me.... nothing. That's unheard of. This place understands that if they treat you fairly the first time, they've got a loyal customer for life. Highly recommend! read more

I was told to bring my car in at 8:00am so that they could try and diagnose why my heat is going in and out. I dropped it off right after they opened. I was told it would only take a few hours and that they would have the owner call me. I called at 2:30pm for a follow up with them and I was told they were just about to pull my car in. At 5:00pm I called again for a follow up and there was no answer. I then received a call at 5:35pm (they close at 6:00) telling me they didn't have time to get to my vehicle. I went in to pick up my car at 5:55pm and politely asked the owner why they would tell me they were going to work on it when they weren't. I was immediately met with hostility and a disturbingly unprofessional attitude. Patrick told me that "other vehicles came in that took priority" and that "things come up." You knew by 4:00pm you weren't going to get to my car, so why on earth would you not call me and tell me that? You also had my vehicle for TEN hours, it is unacceptable that you would request I bring it in that early only to never look at it. I will NEVER be taking my vehicle to you again - not will I ever be recommending you to people. I am absolutely appalled at the lack of professionalism and the blatant disregatard for customer service. read more
