Every time we checked in, we got nothing but excuses, delays, and zero accountability. When we finally got the motor back, a professional tuner immediately pointed out that it still had serious issues, issues this shop clearly missed or ignored. We gave them another chance to make it right, but unsurprisingly, they failed again. Within a day of use, the motor completely failed. And then they had the nerve to admit they didn't know what went wrong and couldn't fix it. This place is a joke. They had our money, our time, and our trust and gave us nothing but a broken product and a pile of excuses. Do yourself a favor and stay far away. Go somewhere that actually knows what they're doing.

I called around for a shop that might be able to take a look at it, and DTE stepped up and saved the day. I had the car towed there by AAA, but a DTE employee showed up to help out. Their mechanic came in bright and early on the 4th of July and had us in the road about four hours later. Great Job!!!

The staff was rude, unprofessional, and incompetent--they were swearing and speaking disrespectfully to customers, treating them as if they were garbage. Additionally, when our driver arrived to pick up the vehicles, they could not locate the person holding the car keys, causing unnecessary delays. To make matters worse, they charged excessive storage fees without justification. We will be filing a formal complaint with the Department of Justice and other relevant authorities to address this overpricing and misconduct. This kind of scam-like behavior should not be allowed to continue!

When I went to take the tow bill up to Stephan's, these two men were n a s t y to me. So I asked if I could make a new appointment for the seal, and go ahead and get the hub replaced. His response, "yea sure, should save you about $100", I of course agreed. To my surprise, the original estimate was $588, I was still billed $525 for the service, to replace a single hub! I was pulled aside prior to paying for the service and was told "there will be taxes on this, but we did this..." and he pointed to the paper, but never explained what was actually done! I was kind of shocked that I was told I could save "about $100" by not getting the seal replaced, only to then see a savings of only about $60-ish I would hope that when we, as customers, are given an 'estimate' of costs, that the bill should reflect that exact cost. And King Coal, as a service provider, would respect those estimates and not surprise the customer with a "this has to be done" charge. Other than that, the staff themselves were very friendly and knowledgeable about what was causing my issue. It was fixed in a timely manner and the vehicle purs like a kitten. I had to work while the vehicle was being worked on ( I'm a developer ) so having a nice place to sit and do my coding along with free Coffee was a definite plus!
