The store had three employees and no customers and all three refused to check my car battery due to it snowing. Why have the store open today if the employees are going to refuse service just because it's cold outside? This Advance Auto is located on South Cobb Drive near the South Cobb/Concord intersection in a small 2 business center between the Popeye's and Monterrey Mexican. Parking - Can be a little tricky as entering from South Cobb is a one-way and the spots are placed at an angle making for easier parking if you enter to the left of the building. If the spots in front are taken, there is a large lot directly to the right that they share with Monterrey, so there is always ample parking. Hours - They are strict about their hours, that is for sure...so strict that they actually close the doors a few minutes before actual closing times, as noted in other reviews. So, give yourself time to get their well before closing times! Products - As you would expect of an auto parts store, they have majority of things that any shade-tree mechanic or average fella such as myself would need for minor repairs or preventative maintenance of your vehicle. It's not the largest of Advance Auto's, but they have a decent selection of items. Service - The handful of times I have been here have been greeted with lackluster service. They aren't dismissive, but they definitely give the minimum effort required of a customer interaction here. My last visit I was in search of a tire pressure gauge and asked the gentleman where they were located when I walked in. He simply pointed and walked off. There was no other person in the store. I went to the shelf, grabbed one and then had to wait on him to come back up to ring me up. For an interaction so simple, it seemed to take a lot out of the guy. I try to give everyone and place the benefit of the doubt with maybe just a bad day, but I have been here 3 times in the past year and each visit is less than favorable, especially when it comes to service. There is another brand of auto parts store not too far that always seems jam packed, and honestly two of my trips here have been because the wait at the other spot is too much...but after my experiences, I can see why the other spot stays busy and this location is not. HORRIBLE service Victor and the manager, Donald were very non responsive. It was drizzling outside and I purchased windshield wipers, I asked for assistance to install because I had shoulder surgery and could not lift my arm and the manager stated the he would not install due to it drizzling but, the signage states that they do install wipers and does not state anything about they don't install if it's raining. Do not recommend, take your business elsewhere! I also contacted corporate and was informed that they do install wipers in any weather conditions. read more

CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ITS BEST! I was simply strolling by right before a car wash. Although this place is ruled by the ladies, they have the knowledge to back it up! However, i was a little off-put by not being able to find something as simple as a Febreeze for the car? given that wallyworld is only a few minutes away, yet i dont feel like wrangling for a cash register, you dig? I stumbled upon this location quite by accident, I literally saw it as I was leaving the restaurant next door. I happened to need oil so I went in, Robert was very helpful in picking the right oil for my car, he then asked if I needed anything else. On a whim I told him about a rattling noise my rear window was making, he came outside and took a look for me. Then he did some research and found the obscure little part that he thought would fix it, he even helped me change the part!! I've only been in Georgia for a week and it's so refreshing how kind everyone is! This will absolutely be my go-to location for anything car related. read more

Well...were do I start? The staff is normally courteous and friendly although not very knowledgable but that's okay. However, today On 5/21 around 10:00am I went by this location to buy a simple tool and I literally waited at the counter for 10 minutes with no one helping. There was one guy at the counter repeatedly asked for help on the intercom and the other employees in the back continued on with their conversation laughing and joking while there was at least five more customers that came in after me that we're looking as puzzled as I was. So I finally got fed up and left, drove down the street to Oreilly Auto Parts and was in and out in under 2 minutes. MEMO TO THE MANAGER OR OWNER... Check the time logs for who worked at this time, check the surveillance tape and Fire the bums in the back or you will soon be out of business. read more
