I have been going to a competitor chain for years but they are a 20 minute ride away and I was not impressed by the staff on my last visit. So I googled oil change and Grease Money popped up -- only 6 minutes from my house. Turns out I've driven by dozens of times but never noticed. So here's the deal: very professional staff. The franchise owner/manager is on site and working alongside the other grease monkeys. They recommended c couple of services I turned down but they did show me the dirty air filter and cabin filter and asked if I wanted to replace them. Of course. DeeDee, the cashier, was very helpful. The work was done in less than 15 minutes. A tip: check on line for a discount coupon before you go. I saved $25 with it. But you have to tell DeeDee that you have a coupon. She is not allowed to ask. As you depart, DeeDee will wish you a blessed day. And we all need one of those. read more

Oil change in a 2024 Kicks cost $100 and change after taxes, but I'm leaving on a trip tomorrow so didn't question it. Driving after dusk I then noticed that the Automatic Headlights setting has stopped working. Called to ask whether there might be a connection between them checking out my car a few hours ago and this brand new issue, and the previously polite gentleman got defensive and frankly rude. "Take it to a dealer and see if they say it's something we did." Not helpful. read more

Emory is super cool and quite the salesman. 3 drive up lanes for oil changes and each lane was 3 cars deep, but start to finish we were out of there in less than 30 minutes. They will try to upsell you on everything so try to know a little a out what your vehicle needs ans how often. I'm talking type of oil, air filter, cabin filter, more. Excellent customer service! Had something wrong with the bottom of the car that fell off and they were willing to help us out for free!! This never happens in this kind of business, we were very grateful. They had a lot of cars but we got in and out really fast, like less than ten minutes. Thank you! AVOID Grease Monkey in Chamblee Dunwoody Road. SCAM, UNPROFESSIONAL.... It was like going to a used car salesman. The manager gave me 100% attention when he was selling me on a "premium" full synthetic oil change. I had never heard of different levels of full synthetic. Had an Audi for 13 years and all I had to say was full synthetic. Well now I have an Acura and suddenty there are three levels of full synthetic and I "should get the top of the line that lasts 10,000 miles for $120". I don't think I ever paid that for my Audi oil change. So, this guy suddenly hands me off to junior level associates because another lady came in wanting a battery. So, now he's all attention on selling her a $200 battery. Meanwhile, my 15 minute oil change is turning into 40 minutes since some girl is ripping the plastic covering out of my hood and unscrewing a bunch of bolts. I'm like what in the world is she doing???? The manager is over there working the 'battery' lady and talking on his headphones to someone. Now I'm angry because I'm wondering why I'm still here, so the manager comes over to put my car back together - still on the phone - and leaves a screw, a screwdriver, and some other tool under my hood and closes it. I had to tell him that a screw was not replaced. That's when he re-opened my hood and noticed all of his tools under there. When I expressed my anger, HE gets mad at ME and storms off. He didn't even re-set my maintenance notification and his junior associates didn't know how to do it either. So, now I realize I've been hoodwinked and I go to the Acura dealer to get my car put back together properly and guess what? Their oil change is $77. So, Grease Monkey costs more than the dealer??? Oh and forgot how he tried to sell me wiper blades when my car is less than 2 years old. Keep your money and go somewhere else!!! read more

I was in a pinch and my daughters Civic needed an oil change. So she goes to Grease Monkey in Kennesaw Ga. , on or about 09/2023, and gets the oil changed. Today I went to change her oil and I had to use my 1/2 inch x 2 ft breaker bar to break the torque on the oil pan drain plug. I've been doing my own oil changes for 48 years on God knows how many cars and only use places like this when I'm in a really bad pinch. I don't trust any of them. They are all the same. They stole my supreme hat out of my car! Do NOT leave anything of value in the car when getting an oil change or any service here. I have had no problems in the past but when I went in for my routine oil change I got took account of everything in the car and when I received it back noticed that something was missing. This unfortunate event soured my day and put me back 80$ on top of the cost of an oil change. Very disappointed read more

This place ripped me off. I asked for a synthetic oil change, which is $89 according to their price board. But when I went to pay it was $129 (after my $15 coupon). And no one was available to talk to me or explain the charges. The only way to get my keys back was to pay. Won't be back to any location. Zero stars. read more

I called this morning to ask how much for an oil change. She quoted me $88 something. Went on line and saw a coupon for $15 oil change. So when I was going to pay mentioned to her that I have a coupon and she asked for the code and gave it to her and she said with the coupon it's 88.52. This place is very unprofessional. I felt very uncomfortable when I came there to get an oil change. I was approached by a dark-skin bald gentleman who wears glasses to get inquiries on a oil change and when he walked to my car he said " I have za (I'm assuming he meant weed) tap in" I just laughed because I didn't want to seem rude I proceeded to tell him I don't condone in that and he said "well I got it all if you need anything pull up and I'll get you right" . I'm assuming he got the idea that I smoke or do drugs because my son had my car and it had a little marijuana smell. After telling this young gentleman that I was uncomfortable, he proceeded to tell me that he can give me a discount for my oil change, which I feel like was very unprofessional and I think this place should be shut down because how are your employees allowed to sell drugs through a business without getting in trouble and then when she say you feel uncomfortable they feel comfortable enough to offer you a deal or a discount, so that means this gentleman has done this multiple times and he's giving people a discount on their oil change or tires or etc.. I feel as if him saying that he was gonna give me a discount on my oil change was supposed to make everything go away this place is very unprofessional and this place needs to be shut down read more
