Run fast and far. These folks aren't honest. You can see…read moreanother review that I posted on March 4th, 2024, about how we were treated. The short of that story was that we made an appointment for a recall, and asked for an oil change, brake check, DEF gauge check and inspection. We returned after dropping the truck off on time, 4 hours later, but it hadn't been looked at. So they took it in, told us we need brakes (we knew that, right?) couldn't find an issue with the DEF gauge (still not working), SAID they performed an oil change, and couldn't do the inspection because of the brakes. That is after we waited another 2 hours on site. Frozen raw chicken defrosting, we had made a grocery run while we waited. It was an 8 hour excursion for what should have only taken a couple of hours. Why bother making an appointment? Today, I took the truck to our local inspection place, and on the way home realized this dealership had not put up an oil change sticker (because it would have been right near our new inspection sticker). So I made a mental note of the miles, and recalled this truck has an oil life gauge. I checked the gauge, and it shows the oil life was at 65%, and the mileage was accurate to the last oil change we had. It made me wonder...did they change the oil? I paid $151 for an oil change... When I got home I checked the filter. No new filter, just a rusty old Valvoline one. I called the dealership and asked the service tech if they use Valvoline filters. No, they only use Mopar. Back to the dealership I go, trying to arrive before they leave for the weekend, and it's an hour drive. The service tech is expecting me, and when I show the pic of the old filter he says it's a fuel filter, even though it says oil filter in it. Out to the car we go, with a flashlight, where he verifies it's an old filter. When I ask how this could have happened...crickets. The service manager tried to pull Up video footage of who may have worked in the truck, though I know they know. Most likely to try to prove to me that they DID do the change, but they couldn't find the info. I know they keep service logs and know exactly who worked on it. They immediately issued the refund I asked for, but not a single person there apologized. Forget the deception and the outright fraud...this could have hurt the vehicle. It's an insult to a customer. They have an internal issue, and maybe it's just one bad mechanic, or perhaps it is just the way they co duct business. Either way, beware of this dealership. And maybe ask for all of your old parts back of you decide to get service there. For me, never ever again.

Posted on behalf of my dad and his wife:…read more My husband and I tested various makes and models for ease of getting in and out of a car since he is wheelchair-bound. At CMA's Valley Subaru in Staunton, VA, we not only found the Forester to have the optimal clearance and height and all-around accessibility, but also recognized this dealership took our needs to heart. Sales specialist Remy Duguet was well-versed in Subaru's reliability and safety record. Given his knowledge of each model's specs, he made it easier to decide which best met our needs, going out of his way time and again to ensure the Forester would work for us. He was responsible and followed up at every turn. We highly recommend Remy and believe he reflects the Subaru culture and values as does the dealership. This has been a very positive car purchase and trade-in experience.

If I could give them a zero star rating I would! Valley Subaru CANNOT be trusted! After looking &…read moretest driving a 2026 Outback Touring XT in Crimson Red Pearl, I started contacting local Subaru dealerships, including Valley to get the most competitive price. I specifically said in the emails that we want the Touring XT in Red Pearl, no deviations. I told Lucas what I'm offering to pay out the door and he stated that he couldn't do it, which is understandable. I told him if anything changes for him to let me know. The next day, I received an email from their general manager, Charles Camp, and he said that he will accept my offer for the Outback, except he deliberately tried to switch the model to the Limited XT, NOT the Touring XT that I wanted. Needless to say, the Limited XT is a lower grade Outback from the Touring XT, yet he attempted to sell me a cheaper, lower grade vehicle. It is actions like this that give auto dealerships a terrible reputation, and the terrible reputation is Justified!
