Craig was awesome, helped us out as much as he could, did everything he could to fix things and always worked with us to make sure we were on the road to get to work. A few years later I'm in the automated car wash and my brake lines blow out. I take it to Craig who gets me back up and running with no muss or fuss, and was again super flexible with me on making sure I could get things done on my schedule. Now, our other car needs brakes and some other work done. Local shop in Ann Arbor tells us $1200 just for BRAKES. Took it to Craig who once again was awesome, quoted us everything and walked us through what needed to be done. There's a reason we go to him, and it's because he's always given us awesome service and I feel I can trust him with my vehicles.

They charged me $1,100 dollars for a front end job that should have cost me $700.00. And they messed up the part that they put on and denied doing it after another shop found it, I had to pay another $200.00 to have it fixed. Can't say enough good things about these guys; 5 stars only because we can't give more than 5…read more Here's my take on the auto repair business; there's 3 key things, two of which are very hard for the layperson to access. 1-Diagnosing the problem. 2-Fixing the problem. 3-Being honest about what needs done. 1-Jeff has many years experience and is excellent at diagnosing the problem. Obviously some things are easier than others; e.g., the brakes grind, you need brake pads; other noises or symptoms can be much harder to figure out. He's a master at figuring it out and won't give up till he has. 2-Fixing it. This is what every professional shop can do. 3-Honesty. This is the most important one - yet the hardest one for the layperson to assess. e.g., Did your brake job really need rotors too or would just pads have been enough. Did you really need that new radiator or was it just a hose that was leaking? Did you really need all the tie rods and ball joints and suspension links replaced or would've ball joints been enough? ...etc, etc. Sooner or later there will be times where a less-than-honest shop can oversell a repair for extra labor and parts dollars. And the layperson will never know. This is where the trust comes in. I am absolutely convinced Jeff is as honest and straight a shooter as there is in the car business. He'll tell you what your car needs and not oversell repairs you don't need.

However, last year I had new CV Axels installed for $3500 that had a lifetime warranty and were Nickel plated to avoid rust. 6 months later they rusted solid and MPA did nothing to help except tell me they were trying. 5 weeks later and multiple broken promises nothing happened.

Was referred by a…read moreloyal customer who had a great experience with Holbrook only for me to bring my car there and not get the same service. Had my car towed there and was told I needed a major tune up, cool authorized them to do the job came to pick my car up it "needed " an engine, cool paid for the tune up $775 then turned around and paid $3800 same day because they said I needed a new engine. Allegedly put in a refurbished engine told me it would take a week and ended up taking two weeks only to get my car back and needed a new engine in less than 2 weeks smh!! No communication! I have to call every hour for no results. I WILL NEVER BRING MY CAR TO HOLBROOK AGAIN!!!
