I found my shop! VIP Auto Repair has earned a lifelong customer in me. I've gotten multiple services from them, from oil changes to engine repairs. Each and every time time they have been throughout, friendly, and trustworthy. On my last oil change they ran a complementary overall vehicle check and ended up finding a problem, that if left unchecked, would have been very expensive down the road. And without me even having to ask, they brought me back and showed/explained the problem, along with answering all my questions. Communication during all services/repairs has always been easy and timely. VIP's customer service is top notch as well. When my car had to stay there for a few days, I was offered (at no cost) a ride from and back to the shop to pick up my car. (I lived very close at the time and realize that may be a factor going forward.) During the last repair, they were also able to give me a loaner car, which took away so much of the stress that comes along with having a car in the shop. Finally, if you're lucky, the owner's sweet pup will be there when you come in. :) I have recommend them to so many people in my day to day life, and I recommend them to anyone reading here as well! After all the great reviews I read yesterday. I took my car there at 8:45 a.m. At 8:58 someone arrived unlocked the door and entered the building. I waited 5 minutes, entered the building with lights on, no one there. After 5 more minutes a mechanic came in and said someone will be here shortly. Waited 5 more minutes and tried calling it went straight to voicemail. Drove down the road my car was fixed within 20 minutes. Yay!!! Looking for honest auto repair guys in the area? Look no further. These guys charge a fair price for the work they do and they know what they're doing. As an example, when my car's A/C went out I first took it to Belle Tire in Canton. They looked at it and said it would cost $800 to repair. So I decided to get a second opinion over here, since the owner and his staff had done good work on the car before. After he looked at the car, he told me the whole thing didn't need to be replaced and only the condenser did along with the fuse. Price out the door? $315. Several months later and the a/c was still running like a champ. I'll never take my car anywhere else for repairs. Can't recommend them enough. read more

I can honestly say that I believe Mark is a trustworthy Man, and his employees are just as kind as he is. Mark showed me what's wrong with my truck, I could see the wear on the worn part(his shop is very clean)he literally called several parts place to get the cost down as much as he could...I felt totally comfortable with him and the employees. First of all, if you're destressed by the low number of reviews, they've accrued nearly 140 on Google, so check them out there. Having said that, after my first experience with this shop, I feel confident I've found my go-to mechanic from this point forward. They spent an hour inspecting my Jeep and diagnosing my reported issues, outlined my options, which included recommending a different mechanic that might offer a cheaper solution, and then attempted to waive their due fee. They tried to get me to leave, without giving them ANY money, after giving me at least an hour of their time. Since we live in a society, I of course refused, and they begrudgingly agreed to charge me ... 25 whole dollars. TWENY-FIVE DOLLARS! They test drove it. Lifted it, lowered it, lifted it again! Incredible! My drivers side wheel bearing was absolute toast, and over the months the loud rumbling turned into a loud roar. It was Monday afternoon, & I was planning on making a trip to Grand Rapids. However, I didn't feel comfortable driving it ~ 200 miles knowing the bearing could possibly seize. Anyways, I called up around 4:05, and asked if there was absolutely any way he could do it today, or if itd be better tomorrow. He said yes, & he could have it done in about 2-3 hours (Hyundai elantra problems) if I brought it in within the next 10-15 mins. I drove up there, and he got to work IMMEDIATELY. Before I even sat down! After looking at it, he said hell have it done by 5:30. I got there at 4:20, went to the store and returned with my step mom at 5:20. At the exact moment we pulled into the parking lot, he pulled in with my car! He got in done in less than an hour!! So respectful and you can tell he enjoys what he does. Incredible service, can not recommend enough. The price was absolutely fair too, especially with the convenience. My go-to guys from now on! Long story short: wheel bearing was absolute poop on a tricky Hyundai Elantra. Called at 4:00 on a Monday and they got me right in. Fast, incredibly friendly service. read more
