Sticker from another oil change business showed me I was due and I pulled in here. Attendant checked my oil and was so honest in showing me my oil was not even close to being at the end of its life. I appreciated the honesty because it would have been very simple to change my oil without saying anything and charging me. Went today for an oil change, 1/5/26. I am very happy with the service I received. They were professional, explained how much oil they used and didn't try to scam or upsell me. They are quick and thorough. They have a monitor in their pit where you can see the work being done on your vehicle. They washed my windshield and greased the door joints and gave me a water, they go the extra mile for their customers and I will definitely be back! Highly recommend. read more

I presented them the coupon which says $12 any oil change but they told me it's $12 OFF on oil change. What a bad way of marketing. Since I was already there I decided to go with the oil change and ended up paying over $50 for synthetic blend after redeeming the coupon. Not going there again. read more

Honest. Nice. Professional. Quick. Highly recommend. I went here today for an oil change on my high mileage car. The service was great, and I would highly recommend them. Transparent: If you've ever seen investigative reports on TV or read about them, you may be aware that some oil change places will actually pretend to change your oil, when in reality they haven't even drained the oil out out. With this place, you have a video feed of what they're actually doing underneath your hood. You can see the guy screwing, unscrewing, draining, etc. And, they show you what they drained in a measured bucket so you can see. Nice: If you're a female, you don't have to worry about them trying to hit on/upsell you (which is something us females are always on alert for). I heard them crack a few jokes, and they seem like an affable bunch. They also give you a cold bottled water. No useless upsell: I came in for an oil change, and they didn't try to play games about "fluids needing to be flushed" or "your filter needs to be changed" or "this one light needs to be replaced" or anything else. They did, however, advise that I had an engine leak (which I knew previously) and recommended Lucas Oil Heavy Duty treatment to help slow the leak. I've used this before, so was fine with the recommend. Fluids: They did check all the car fluids, and topped up where necessary. Even put air in tires. Value: My high mileage oil change (with Lucas Oil treatment in addition) was only around $40. For those with high mileage cars, this is a decent bargain. Especially when there's no upsell being pushed. I would imagine the price is lower for cars with lower mileage. Overall: The things I listed may seem like minor customer service actions, but because there are many oil change places that operate unscrupulously, the smallest customer service actions shine bright. I took my car in for an oil change and they put the oil plug in wrong and damaged my car. They told me it wasnt the drain plug but the oil pan itself. i\I took the car to 3 GM Dealers and they all told me it was the drain plug that oil exchanged messed up. I got Estimates for all 3 dealers and they all said it would cost over $1100 to repair. I took the estimates back to them and asked to speak to the manager. She refused to speak with me on the matter and walked away from me in mid sentence. I have since filed a claim with the Illinois Attorney General. If all they do every day is change oil, you would thing they can put a drain plug back without causing damage to the vehicle. I will never take my car back read more

I went here to have diagnostics regarding my heating/cooling. I hadn't kept my receipt from when they placed dye to try and figure out where my AC leak was. I asked the technician Kenny if they had any record on file and he immediately began arguing with me about how no place would have that on file and "even clothing stores would give me the worst price". I proceeded with the diagnostics and was quoted a price. Being a young woman (and knowing very little about cars) I asked to hold off on any of the fixes they told me I needed so I could call my family to see if the prices were fair/ if it made sense. I told Kenny I was calling because I didn't know about cars and my dad/uncle would know better than I would. After getting off the phone he told me he "didn't even want to get involved" and would not perform service on my vehicle. I asked him if they didn't allow their customers to call the men in their family for advice and his response was "we're slow but not desperate" and wouldn't give me a copy of their quoted prices or what they had said was wrong with my car. He made me feel extremely uncomfortable and treated me like I was wrong for asking my family if I should proceed with a $400+ fix. Prior to this interaction my experience with this facility had been positive. That being said, no woman should be made to feel like she is unable to seek advice regarding auto repair without worrying about being then told they 'would not' perform the maintenance on the vehicle. read more

This place is Not Good . $ 60.00 for an oil change with Lucas oil treatment.!! My car uses oil fast , I went back in about 4-5 weeks later , maybe 500 miles later & they grudgingly put one more quart free, which they're supposed to anyway.. They didn't top off my fluids ..I had a noisy pulley he told me Go next door with s bad attitude. One grease monkey says .. you have to remove your water pump .. This is why they're oil change guys . You don't have to do all that to change s pulley ..This place is the Pitts & so is the repair shop next door .. read more

Nice, friendly, good service. They do all the normal things in an oil change (fluids, air, etc) but they also have a couple nice additions. They clean your windows, give you a bottle of water, and on weekdays a newspaper. I was quite satisfied with my time here. My only complaint is that they kept offering various other services that I didn't come in for (which were really up-sells), which I understand is part of the business, but still somewhat annoying. Overall, though, I thought this place was great! read more

I love these guys! They always give you a water, and sometimes a newspaper. Last fall they gave me a pumpkin! They are super friendly and never sell me anything I don't need. They made it right, but knee-jerk blaming the customer isn't cool. My car has a skid-plate under the engine, with a little access panel that has to be opened before you can get to the oil drain. It was dragging after I got my oil changed here; they simply forgot to close it. No big deal, I went back the next day to have 'em zip it up. When I explained the dragging sound, and they found that the panel screw was snapped off, the guy's next words were "you probably hit something". Really? 40,000 miles on this car, through winter snow piles and camping and the worst Michigan roads can dish out, and the plate is fine. I get my oil changed here, drive home on the same route as ever, encounter zero snow, zero off-roading, only a few potholes, and the plate is dragging. Obviously I must've hit something! Obviously, I hit one of those rare and vicious potholes that wields a screwdriver and somehow twists off screws in their mounts, without damaging anything else nearby. Right. I know what those are called. It's my fault for driving over such a pit, after all. I should've known better. Now I do! read more

I've been getting my oil changed here for years on 2 cars and they do a great job at everything. I have even been told I don't need an oil change once or twice on new cars which shows me they are honest. Free tire pressure check and free washer fluid anytime you stop in if you get your oil changed there. They also have a garage that does brakes/engine work next door. I dropped a car off due to battery/alternator trouble at the garage tonight and will leave a review on the garage also. Highly recommended for oil change. read more

They do just enough in repairs to get you out the door. Went in to get serpentine belt replaced. 3 days in the squeeling was back and 10x worse. Mechanic failed to inform us that there was buildup that needed to be taken care of. So this 2 month old belt is no longer any good and has to be completely replaced and grooves cleaned- done the right way. Save yourself a couple hundred bucks and take your business elsewhere. Mr. Muffler was happy to fix it properly and explain everything so that we could easily understand. Also way more reasonably priced. read more
