Rubbish! Believe any of the other poor review that name Debra. She is unprofessional and…read morecondescending. I've heard Dr. Rho is great, but the administration he has chosen to represent him is embarrassing. To expand on this, give you a little more on the situation, and I do mean moron, here is a brief timeline of my dissatisfaction: 2/23/26: I call for initial visit. I am informed I need to have notes and reports faxed from my referring MD so I make the arrangements and the information is faxed 2/25/26. 2/26/26: I call to confirm they have received the necessary info and attempt to schedule an appointment. To my surprise, I was told that the ONLY person that knows how to check the fax was out of the office till the next week. I was as surprised as you are to hear that there was only one person in a professional office, in 2026, that knows how to check the fax so I asked the receptionist to clarify. It was true, I had to wait till the following week for the fax specialist to return so I could schedule. 3/3/26: After much ado and having my MD re-fax all necessary information I called in attempt to schedule. After it was confirmed that they had received the original fax of 2/25 I was connected with Debra. Debra confirmed that she was Dr. Rho's administrator and, in fact, the only person in the office that knew how to receive faxes. Again, I was as surprised as you are, but I felt confident I was dealing with someone of authority now. After dismissing my concerns with the receptionist's lack of professionalism and continually speaking over me she let me know they have 7-10 days from today, not the day that they received the information, to review it before they will schedule me. She confirmed they would call me. 3/20/26: I had waited 17 days, 13 business days, but had yet to hear back so I called again. Kathy dismissed my disappointment with the reoccurring lack of professionalism and became a bit contentious defending themselves. She was able to schedule me for the end of May. 3/23/26: Inland Interventional sends a fax to my MD stating they are unable to help me. When I talked to Debra she said that the MD had to review the notes before I could be scheduled. I gave them more than the 7-10 days that was necessary for said evaluation. on 3/20 Kathy had confirmed that I was ready to be scheduled and scheduled an appointment. What gives??? Not even the professional dignity to call to let me know. The brass tacks are this, I was dismissed and disregarded for a month while waiting for treatment for severe pain while I could have been waiting for a professional pain management clinic. I have an extensive health care background and appreciate how a clinic should be run, Debra and her staff are the opposite.

I am writing to formally report an incident involving Dr. James Rho that occurred on January 6th,…read more2026 at Inland Interventional Medical Group. I was referred to Doctor James Rho mid November 2025 in lieu of my former pain specialist moving to another practice in Los Angeles. The same specialist recommended Doctor Rho, but Doctor Rho refused to provide medical treatment and characterized me as an "addict." This statement was made without a formal diagnosis and appeared to be based solely on the fact that my original specialist had transferred between multiple medical facilities. These transfers were administrative in nature, and I had to wait a long time before attempting to be seen at only one other practice, who was able to refer me back to my original specialist since they were not able to perform the same surgical procedures. How is it my fault that my specialist got transferred to another facility, which at the time was processing his transfer?Because of this, Doctor Rho decided that I "bounce around from office to office". I myself had to reach out to Doctor Rho's practice after over a month and was made aware of this denial on January 6th. Again, that was over a month after the time my referral was approved. I could've used that time to search for another specialist so that I could continue my care. I believe this characterization was inaccurate and resulted in a denial of appropriate medical care. Meanwhile I have been in severe pain and limited to a prolonged process of attempting to find a new specialist. As a patient, I found this conduct unprofessional and discriminatory. Decisions regarding treatment should be based on documented medical history and clinical evaluation, not assumptions, optics, nor labels. I am requesting that this incident be reviewed to determine whether proper standards of care and non-discriminatory practices were followed. I would also appreciate clarification on how patients in similar situations are protected from being denied care based on unsupported conclusions. Sincerely, Idania Carrillo

Do no harm.. and in this professionals opinion, post Registered Nurse, im impressed…read more Dr Tong, and the nurse practitioner Sarah both , LISTEN. I've not a bad word to say about this office , run by a knowledgeable Doctor. I've known a lot of doctors.. first with my previous profession as "the patients advocate" , then an entire wing of , just get rid of her.. huh ?!! . People that all deserve a life , a better one, if applicable .. the end ., ;) ~ the reviews I've read of other "pain relief doctors " seem to only add to the unsatisfactory quality of any life received by people. I had depression due directly to pain not being managed. - .. I welcome such businesses ,or CARE, into our community.. What You'll experience , in my opinion.., is expert care. an ethical , moral approach. Empathy, compassion, and the ability to listen happens here. ~~ Pain , is the fifth vital sign .. it's extremely important for diagnoses' and the following treatment~ it's been a journey of bad for this patient. Or rather non patient . ... . I was left feeling embarrassed , completely exhausted, and alone.. and in pain.. To all professionals reading this.. one day you may need to find help.. and it's no where to be found. Make an appointment. You can't just STOP pain management. It's inhumane. ., kindness and nonjudgmental treatment should be the goal...) Integrity .. it's in rare form lately . .. , Dr tong was so attentive, I cried. Right there , I've watched my own care , deteriorate. I've cried many sleepless nights due to pain. I am no longer bedridden with pain, nor have the accompanying depression.. . .. Going to this doctor, if you are lucky enough to end up here, I felt such relief regarding simple human interaction. I was not ignored or called a liar.. So, look no further for compassion, decency but last, definitely not least, Integrity to the profession of medicine .. Dr Tong saved my life.. I cannot tell you how bad it is for some of us.. ~ the treatment, the inhumane comments, that embarrass /ignore/or lie to you as your doctor is the definition of anathema to their trade These people really care.. Everyone there is truly a joy to see.. If only all doctors . With, yes power, present as such humble practitioners, we'd not be writing reviews on yelp. Ha. .. ~ I hope I have given you all some sound advice in where to go for help.. . We have one life. Wondering if the rest of the Doctots know the harm they cause.. how could they not? I refuse to blame, quality of my life , returned. The pain in my back led me here .. and of course , I stayed ~ (old or new.. degeneration is Lifelong .. hence the name.) I can't tell you how amazing it felt , to be heard ... I've been with him awhile and not one complaint ! Only positive visits. With respect. He's a real doctor , I mean, he actually has a bedside manner that is Good. . ~.. I did not want to live , in the pain I was in. No matter what. Dr tong saved my existence.~ Now, the pictures? spinal injuries .. aren't as fun to post! Just an example of how my ability to to anything .. was interrupted by pain. .. , I love love love both physicians. Wishing You all a pleasant evening. Total 5 stars for this doctor and his amazing, professional staff…read more After a horrific experience with another local pain management, I found Dr. Nassiri. I was having excruciating back pain (while sitting, an 8/10 pain) and every pain killer prescribed to me to date was doing nothing to help. 1. His office is clean and easily accessible. At this point, I was in a wheelchair. The other pain management dr I was seeing was barely accessible. 2. Dr. Nassiri is very friendly and knowledgeable. He has a medical scribe document conversations to ensure accuracy. He reviewed my MRI and his assessment was exactly what I had heard from other doctors and he spent a lot of time answering all questions I had. 3. I was very unhappy with the orthopedic doctor I was seeing. He recommended a world class orthopedic surgeon, who I went to and had perform my surgery (L4/L5 microdiscectomy). 4. He and his team answer emails quickly! No need to call in. 5. While he was talking about this great doctor, his front desk person overhead this portion and when I walkld out the door, she had a document printed with contact details and other info I needed. 6. He put me on a specific regiment that WORKED (with gapapentin). Within 2 weeks, I could walk and the pain got down to levels where I could sleep. I then foolishly tried to reduce them and a lot of pain came back. That was my bad. Listen to him and follow the regiment. I had surgery in August 2023 (Thank you, Dr. Sodha!!) and am PAIN FREE (maybe a 1/10 at my worst). I really credit Dr. Nassiri and his fantastic staff with getting the best medical care available.
