I've been a patient for a few years. Dr. Jones is always patient and gentle. I recommend this practice... they also have some weekend hours.

This review is not personal, it is 100% business and should be taken as such. The lady at the front…read moredesk was awesome, no complaints. However, Dr. Bustillo was nice but her dental practices were HORRIBLE. When I sat down in the chair, I noticed the office was not clean. She doubled booked and had another gentlemen that came to correct a dental mishap. The only service I was having that day was a basic cleaning. I LIE to you NOT! She cleaned her dental instruments on my dental bib. It was very unprofessional and disgusting. In all of my years have I NEVER witnessed a dentist go that far. It doesn't stop there, she took XRays and told me I had a couple of CAVITIES. I instantly became concerned because prior months back my old dentist said there were NO cavities. When I left the office I vowed to NEVER return. I went to another dentist that examined my teeth and took additional XRAYS, she said I did NOT have any cavities and she urged me to have another cleaning before the normal 6 months ended. Sad to say, I was not surprised, I'm glad I did not allow Dr. Bustillo to drill into HEALTHY teeth. It makes me question, her motives, did she lie about me having cavities OR is she just not knowledgeable of her craft. This is not to tear anyone's practices down, I want to WARN anyone that is thinking about setting an appointment with this doctor. Please be careful going to just anybody, take your time, read reviews. If you still go to her regardless of this warning, I feel sorry for you. Be safe and select your dentist carefully and if you go to her please question EVERYTING.

I arrived 10 minutes late which is terrible, I know, but, in all fairness I was trying to get into the wrong door for a good 5 minutes and going up the stairs looking for a door that would open. I approached the building and was met by a sign that said "Greenbelt Smiles LLC B" Suite B! It wasn't until I called they told me it's A. Uh then why are there 2 signs? To make a confusing story short I spent my time in front of the wrong door (see pic.) I called and my appointment was cancelled because I was 10 minutes late. "Our next appointment should be here any minute." Wrong! Your next appointment showed up 30 minutes late and you guys took her in! How do I know? I sat in front of your building in my car to Yelp you guys.

I was sad to have lost my dentist of approximately 18 years after she retired. Since then, I have had 2 other dentists and I have to say there was much to be desired. I didn't feel like I was a valued patient and I was driving 15 miles to get to them. Thus my quest to find a new dentist. A friend recommended her dentist and I am very happy to have found the McCarl Dental Group. Everyone I met at this office has been super friendly and helpful. I'm happy to have Dr Lee as my dentist and the dental hygienists, Nancy and Meagan are both very thorough and knowledgeable. The bonus is they are located very close to where I live so I no longer have to drive 15 miles. I highly recommend them.

Business coordinator, Fran, is classic example. Had 2 negative interactions with her and I questioned the role that race played in it. Provided my feedback and experience to Duarte. He told me it was a serious allegation and I should find another dentist. Apparently, he expected me to back down or apologize for being victimized. I believe in supporting your staff but racism is real and refusing to accept its existence is very naive and complicity. Hope that my feedback will put more scrutiny on this employee who is probably acting inappropriately with others.

I was referred to this office by another dentist because I had an infected wisdom tooth and needed emergency treatment. I called as soon as the office opened, explained my situation, and was told to complete my paperwork and come in immediately. The doctor told me he would squeeze me in between scheduled appointments because it was an emergency. I arrived around 11:00 a.m., completed the check-in process, verified my insurance, and paid approximately $1,500 before my procedure. I was then told to wait. I asked how long the wait would be and was told it would probably be another two to three hours. I understood that emergencies can involve waiting, so I was patient. By around 3:30 p.m., I had been there for hours longer than the estimate I was given, so I went to the front desk to ask for an update. Instead of receiving one, I was made to feel like I was inconveniencing the staff simply by asking a reasonable question. One receptionist repeatedly interrupted me while I was speaking, dismissed my concerns, and responded in a way that came across as impatient and unconcerned. Rather than checking with the doctor, she repeatedly told me to sit down and wait. Earlier in the day, I had even asked if I could leave and come back later if the doctor was running behind. I was told I could not leave and that I needed to stay in the office until the doctor was ready. Because of that, I remained there the entire day. After I insisted that someone ask the doctor how much longer it would actually be, I was finally taken to a treatment room. At that point, I thought the procedure was about to begin. Instead, I waited for approximately two more hours. During that time, I had already been given medication and was sitting there in pain while repeatedly being told, "He'll be in shortly." The procedure itself was completed successfully, and I have no complaints about the surgical work. My complaint is about how my time and my concerns were handled. I arrived around 11:00 a.m. and did not leave until approximately 7:00 p.m. The procedure was not performed until after the office had finished seeing its scheduled appointments. Unfortunately, the problems continued after surgery. I was discharged without the work excuse my employer required, even though the office later acknowledged that it should have been provided before I left. I then spent the next several days making repeated phone calls trying to obtain a work note and disability paperwork. I was promised callbacks that never happened, told documents would be emailed that I never received, and had to make multiple trips back to the office because paperwork was incomplete or not ready when I had been told it would be. One example that stood out was receiving a phone call at approximately 4:55 p.m. telling me my paperwork was finally ready for pickup--even though the office closed at 5:00 p.m. When I explained that it was impossible for me to make it there in five minutes, I was essentially told that I could either have it emailed or come back another day. It was the same dismissive attitude I had experienced throughout the entire process. This review is not about the outcome of my surgery. It is about the customer service, communication, scheduling, and the way I was treated as a patient. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this office for anyone dealing with a dental emergency. My emergency was repeatedly placed behind scheduled appointments, I spent nearly eight hours in the office despite being told I was being "worked in," and I had to spend additional days chasing paperwork that should have been handled before I was discharged. If you have a scheduled appointment, your experience may be different. But if you are in severe pain and need emergency treatment, I would strongly recommend looking for an office that can provide more timely care, better communication, and more professional follow-up!

GPS directions lead you to the Staff Only entry points with no signage to redirect you to the proper place. Bringing it to the attention of the staff with the bright colorful acrylic nails will only produce you being the recipient of passive aggressive/nasty responses then an immediate ignoring of your requests for other new patients to be warned about the possible mixup during scheduling. Scheduling was also a disappointment but not as bad as coming in person. TLDR: Do NOT come here. Rude office staff. Go elsewhere even if it's a referral.

I only saw the email last minute and there was no option for confirmation as seen in the image below. I get to the building at 12:57 for my 1pm appointment and I couldn't be let into the building because " we're close for the day". I see two ladies sitting inside at the front desk, I knock a few times and they don't even look at me. I then call the office number and one of them picks and says " they're close and beside, no appointments is scheduled for 1pm". I try to explain but she says o didn't confirm my appointment and that's why it was cancelled. She also tells me to go home and give them a call on Tuesday to reschedule. How can I get off work just to be spoken to over the phone when they're inside and can clearly see me? At least, I should have been let in and explained to why I could not be attended to but no, they'd rather speak to me over the phone than let me in. Mind you, this is my second cancelled appointment with me in the building and I hate to do this but these people do not understand customer service and compromise. It's shameful how they treat patents.

Since then I'm glad they have been making sure I have the best and more reliable work done. My favorite thing besides the kind and professional service was the fact after my cleaning they put Vaseline on my lips. Honestly, that was the greatest feeling ever. Not only are your lips very dry when they are operating it's nice they thought to do that. I've never had anyone put Vaseline on my lips before, I was truly amazed. I will say that's the biggest reason why I stayed and will forever be a loyal client here. I already recommended this place to a few people and told them my experience.
