First time here, and before I have even seen the dentist this place does not give good vibes. I completed my new patient documents and the receptionist immediately requested my SSN for insurance purposes, which I see as a bit concerning in 2021. I told her I would not write it down but would verbalize it so she may enter it into the system. As I said it, she proceeded to WRITE IT DOWN! I then asked why she needed my SSN, instead of my customer number from my insurance card. She then told me that most people don't have it available. However she never once asked for it. I've been seen by both dentist here, and both doctors are great. The staff is friendly and they fit you in and let you know when earlier times open up. Getting to see the dental hygienist for cleanings is difficult as he is always booked. Its June now and the next opening with the hygienist is September. read more

I've been a patient since last year. Searched for a dentistry near my area, this came up, and that was it. While the place is nicely decorated and welcoming, I will say that sometimes the staff can be a little off putting. I sometimes get a nice welcome when I walk in or (and this happened a couple of times), I get a quick hello and before I could even reply back I'm being asked for my information rather quickly. Once given, I stand there just looking at them. Finally, I go "Should I sit down...?" Like, be more attentive. Good customer service goes a long way. Also, I agree with the person who mentioned that when calling no one picks up. Ain't that the truth! I don't know how many times I've called to no answer or left messages and not get a call back. At all. So freakin' strange. Finally, this is a busy establishment. And because of this my dentist can come for 5 minutes, look at a tooth, then claims it needs another x-ray shot. Sure. Dude just needs to go back to his other patient to finish what he started there. This act is becoming very, very old. And time consuming. They should really look into not booking so many appointments around the same time. read more

The worst dental practice in all of the DMV, if you ask me. Consistent issues with incompetence and a failed appointment system. Employee turnover/retention amongst the Dentists employed at this establishment is alarming as well. My disabled mother on multiple occasions has entered this establishment for a scheduled procedure or routine cleaning to be told by the receptionist Joanna that she does not have an appointment. The most recent disturbing experience occurred today, which precipitated this review. After presenting employee Joanna with confirmation of the appointment and an appointment reminder sent via email and text by the establishment's notification system, the employee then changed her story to say that my mother's appointment was at an earlier time at 8am. However, the text and email reminder clearly stated that the appointment was for 10am which was the time chosen when scheduling the appointment and the time my mother arrived for her appointment. The staff member, Joanna, also didn't know that the patient, my mom, was an existing patient at the establishment for YEARS with the most recent treatment being received just three weeks prior. Joanna was provided with patient health information to identify my mother as a patient but still couldn't pull up the patient in the establishment's patient health information system. She claimed that my mother's patient information "suddenly"disappeared from their system the same day. Which is alarming and a major red flag for a supposed healthcare facility. She also stated that she was new hire, however, my mother has encountered this same young lady in her years of being a patient, on several occasions. Joanna also identified a hygienist as the Dentist. The practice's official website does not indicate the hygienist as a Dentist. I later found out that the hygienist was not an actual dentist. I asked to speak with the office manager and was told by Joanna that she wasn't working. I later received a call from a restricted number from someone who works at the practice who left a voicemail advising me to call the office line, which is handled by the same employee, Joanna, who my mom had the awful experience with the same morning. Why would I want to engage in further conversation with the same staff that was responsible for the "shi* show" that had occurred the morning of what was supposed to be my disabled's mother $3,000 procedure? I made it clear that I am only interested in speaking further with corporate regarding the subpar experience and negligence at this establishment. Especially due to the lack of accountability and integrity by the in office staff. I was informed that this location has a corporate headquarters office but staff refused to provide that contact information as they appeared to have not wanted the details of what occurred today to be brought to the attention of executive leadership. The lack of professionalism, structure, and competence regularly displayed at this practice is enough for the average individual to feel more comfortable seeking management of their health elsewhere. I would not recommend this establishment for even an X-ray of a tooth. Joanna did not apologize for the lack of professionalism and integrity nor had accountability for her actions. The owners and or managing partners of this establishment should also reconsider the administrative staff of this practice and have a more reliable information system in place for patient health information. Today's experience is simply inexcusable. Unprofessionalism is unacceptable, especially at a healthcare facility where qualified healthcare "professionals" and qualified admin managing patient health information are expected. Emphasis on "qualified". I have since found a professional, orderly, and qualified establishment to manage my mother's oral health. I, nor any of my family members will be continuing care with Greenway Center Dentistry in Greenbelt, MD for the foreseeable future, for obvious reasons. I hope that someday the right individuals takeover this establishment and turn things around to deliver appropriate, industry standard, and satisfactory care to patients. I have had nothing but a terrible experience at this dental office. First, my appointment was billed at a certain amount of money, but they quoted me incorrectly and I owed twice as much as quoted. They contacted me a few weeks after my appointment to ask if I was aware I still had a balance on my account. I said I was not, but I had a follow up appointment scheduled for a few days later, so I told them I would settle at that time. They assured me that since they had spoken with me, the balance would not go to collections. When I came for my appointment, they had sent the balance to collections anyway, despite having talked to me days prior, and despite having only notified me one time of the balance. I decided to continue going to this office since it is so close to my house. My next appointment was scheduled at 1 pm on a Monday. I arrived on time. I was notified that they tried to call me to "confirm the appointment" but since they weren't able to get a hold of me, they gave the appointment to someone else. They said "I can wait if I want". I walked right out and will never return. If someone has an appointment scheduled at a certain time, why would you just give that appointment to someone else?? Horrible service. Impolite reception staff. I have never experienced such consistent incompetency. read more

I was seen at this dental office in October 2016. I have dental insurance and was told most of my things"should be covered" before getting the work done I told them that I wanted to make sure everything was covered. They insisted that most likely it would be, a few months later I received a huge bill showing my insurance had not covered much of the cost. A patient that has spent over $3000.00 here has been disregarded after my money has been collected. These greedy and uncaring office staff, especially the management (Rachel) were more concerned about scheduling my next visit $$$, instead of getting my daughter's images for a referral to pediatric dental to have her fillings done. Dr. Cooper is amazing, very professional and patient. I hate to lose him as my dentist because I refuse to deal with non-comprehensive staff and manager (Rachel). Dr. Cooper gave me professional advice about how to treat my child, without regards to money. I think he genuinely loves his job, and it shows. Get a new office manager and I would return gladly. I've had mixed experiences at this dentist. Two dental hygienists very good. One could not make an impression of my tooth after 3 times--and she kept telling me about her personal issues throughout. I then had to have a crown and they had me coming back time after time but either the temporary fell out, or the permanent did not fit--there was always something. Finally I got my records and left without a permanent crown becuase I could not waste more time with this place. They tried to tell me I had a difficult case--that is probably true but why did it take so many times to understand that? I don't think they are purposely trying to be imcompetent--they just run a very loose ship and quality is variable. For what I have paid I expect top quality care and did not get it. They were nice--but I'll take high quality over nice any day. read more

The billing manager Rachel is not only VERY rude, but she does NOT agree to whatever contracts have been agreed on between the dentist and the patient. They are HIGHLY overpriced, and while the dentist is nothing but pleasant, the fact that his staff is not only money hungry, and rude, they do NOT disclose their FULL payment policy. They will offer you to run a credit line, and only THEN, will they give you the option of paying over a certain period of time. While I was initially impressed with the dentist and his assistants, I would NEVER, and I mean NEVER recommend this dentist to ANYONE that I know. Honestly, I should have done my research instead of going to the first dentist that I went to, simply because of pain. DO NOT, go to this office. You will only be spoken to rudely by the billing staff, but you will most CERTAINLY be ripped off and over charges, for work that is at best mediocre. If I could give this company NO stars, then I would have. I later received a called from the billing supervisor, Linda, and she was a complete breath of fresh air! What a COMPLETE difference from Rachel, who gave the worst and unprofessional customer service ever. Linda was more than pleasant, professional, and understanding. She also agreed to explain the ENTIRE payment policy to me, so that there were no "fine print" rules left unspoken, and everything was fully disclosed. If it weren't for Linda changing my view on the practice as a whole, I would keep it at one star. The entire staff is NOT rude (Linda, the doctor's assistants, and the receptionist were ALL very pleasant) I would just REALLY make sure you do some serious price comparison's before you sign on the dotted line agreeing to services here. For 2 root canals to cost me $1600 AFTER my insurance paid almost half is outrageous to me. At this point, I had the work done, and I'm stuck no matter what. Tough lesson learned. read more

Great Dentist office Dr. Baffna and his staff are courteous, caring and give excellent care. From the time you walk into the office you are greeted by the receptionist Keisha who is very professional and sweet. His Dental assistants provide a warm atmosphere which makes you comfortable. Dr. Baffna went out of his way to repair my painful, damaged teeth and worked me into the schedule each time I had a painful emergency. He's an excellent dentist. I decided to make an appointment with Greenway because of a good cleaning promotion. Two hours later (technician is very slow) , I was told I needed 4 filling replacement and two crowns! A total of $7000.00. After my treatment a nice lady came in and made me feel like she was trying to close a sales deal! I decided to get a second opinion from my childhood dentist (Dr.Broring in Bethesda). He only found one filing that needed to be replaced and No crown! It's been a year since I visited this location and thankfully no other dental issues!! Either they are extremely uneducated in dentistry or scammers! I spent 2 hrs and 45 minutes waiting on the dentist for my broken tooth. Because it was 15 minutes to closing time my appt at 430 the dentist met with me at 645 and told me he could give me a dental plan to fix my teeth. Meaning more than my broken tooth. When I called to make the appt. I told them it was an emergency I had a broken tooth. Dr Cooper was more concerned about starting and finishing with all my teeth and that it would take time. He told me he was sorry that no one explained that to me. Really I take off work early to get there and wait 3 hours for him to do nothing. At that rate it could take years and a tremendous amount of hours of taking off work. Then at the end he basically says he doesn't think we are compatible. Don't go here ever. read more

I had a great time at this office! This place is not overly formal, super friendly which is what I needed to calm my nerves of seeing the dentist. Everyone treated me like family so I was comfortable. Latoya the hygienist left my teeth feeling brand new and the overall experience went smoothly. I even signed up for this discount plan because I cant afford insurance right now, but I want to keep up with my cleanings. Definitely going to recommend. Didn't give 5 stars because I wish I saw more of the doctor but everyone else was great! read more

My experience with this dental practice was very interesting compared to my previous dental visits. The staff was nice, I didn't wait long and it was clean, but they were unprofessional ( talking and laughing loudly), unorganized as the Dental hygienist says out loud " All the instruments are being sterilized", but she looked around for a few minutes and found a sterilized packet. I pray they were clean. Personally, they seemed more concerned about the business/financial gains. They did not educate on healthy oral hygiene or prevention. I didn't spend much time with the Dentist at all, maybe a total of 5 minutes, That's including his initial assessment and the filling. I felt as though they were more concerned with the work I needed done , the cost and if I was going to get it done that day. I opted to get the filling; wishing I had gotten a second opinion. The office manager was too involved and on the phone discussing another patient's billing issues when I was trying to pay for my service. I will not be going back. read more

My 9 yr old son had a toothache that kept him up all night, so i called the nearest dentist office to see if they could see him the following day . Greenway Center Dentistry were able to take him in first thing that morning. GREAT!!! The actual office, is beautiful. It was very clean, the front desk reciptionist named Ashley was very polite and professional. We were intially helped by a dental assistant, her middle name is Breanna, she was amazing. She calmed my son down, she was patient with him, she gave great advice and she was overall the best assistant I have ever met. After my intial perception from Ashley and Breanna, i was excited to meet the actual dentist. Dr. Sibbiqui seemed very corrdial and knowldgeable. She informed me that they would have to pull out his baby tooth because of the cavity. My son had a few teeth pulled out before, so we werent worried. They administered anthestia and when she started pulling my son went hysterical!!! which was a different response from the last experience he had. He said that it was hurting him, so they gave him some more anthestia and HE WAS STILL SCREAMING AND CRYING.She lost patience and pretty much said that he is overreacting. She decieded that she would send him to another dentist because he was too hysterical. 5 HOURS LATER, i took my son to a pedriatic specialist.. i told him the series of events, before my son had an oppurtunity to get examined. The dentist said, he would of never attempted to take the tooth out when he has been up all night from the pain. He said that when a tooth is inflammed sometimes the anthestia wont work, so when my son was complaining about the pain he was probably telling the truth. He percribed amoxocillin and told me to bring him back in 5 days when the swelling going down! I WAS SO UPSET!!! MY SON WAS IN PAIN AND DR. SIBBIQUI SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT THIS COULD HAVE BEEN THE ISSUE. DONT GO THERE IF YOU CAN AVOID IT. read more

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service that I received from this dental institution. My crown has been replaced twice and I am still having difficulties with the procedure that was supposed to be routine and basic. I started going to this Dental facility in February and now it is almost December. I am not sure if it is the training of the dentists or the lack of insight on proper dental care. This dental facility has recently referred me to another dental specialist who I hope will be able to fix this crown that has been a problem since February!!!! I went in for the first time. First of all the wait was long. I had an early morning appointment and there were hardly any other patients, so I don't understand why it took forever to see me. The staff was friendly and warm. The dentist was kind of goofy, for lack of a better word. Looking back he was very casual, unprofessional and carefree. I did my cleaning, and agreed to get some fillings that would cost under $200. All of a sudden, half way through my fillings I was told I needed to have a root canal right then and there because that tooth had a very large cavity and could not be filled in. Instead I would need a crown to fill it. My mouth was numb, I couldn't feel the bottom half of my face and I could barely speak. The doctor made it seem like a real emergency so I agreed to have the root canal done. I was given a temporary crown and was given an appointment to come back for the permanent crown in a few weeks. No one really explained to me what I was allowed to do before I left the office. I really couldn't speak so I wrote a note asking the dental assistant when I was allowed to eat. She told me to not eat anything crunchy, chewy, or hard, and not to floss between the tooth with the crown and to try to eat on the other side of my mouth! Really!!! What if I hadn't asked before I left? Looking back, I got duped and taken advantage of. My total came to over $500 that I was told I had to pay right then, so I had to put it on my credit card.
