I did not specify 1hr and I told my esthetician about having the groupon for the diamond micro dermabrasion and asked if she was familiar w it & her response was, "yes, yes, I know this one". So, no, I am not okay with an extra charge when I do not feel responsible for the miscommunication. Perhaps if I had an actual conversation with anyone prior to the appt, as in a call to confirm, things would have gone more smoothly. I liked the esthetician but not the scheduling experience - this is the first time I opened this text chat; I'm a busy person. Thanks. Well. You booked one hour and didn't note you have a voucher. But we figured you don't wanna pay. We banned your permission to book with us. We will just let you to take advantage of us if that make you feel better. And we are busy as well. My appointments were thorough and efficient, and I definitely felt taken care of. The prices on their site and other coupon places are extremely great deals to take advantage of if you'll be in the area. You won't get the super ultra spa extras (locker rooms, fruit water with real glasses, a slow langorous atmosphere, etc.) but I never felt rushed or unattended over 3 hours of massage and facial services. I knew going into this, it was a "Chain Spa." So my expectations were scaled back a little. When I entered, I gave my name then filled out a quick form. I was taken back for my massage first. The bathroom was clean. My massage therapist was kind. She did a great job explaining everything, I was comfortable the whole time. I felt rejuvenated and relaxed. No complaints. Afterwards she even took the time to explain to me how I could help myself in between massages. Next up was my facial. When I entered the room I was spoken to about CBD option that was an added cost. I really did not want to have that conversation when I am about to have a procedure. It came off a little tacky. I would have liked to have that conversation on my check in versus in the room. My facial was not too bad. It was not the best I have had. I give it a 75/100 if I had to rate it. I do appreciate the time she took doing extractions. When my facial was done, I got dressed and situated then headed out to the waiting room. I continued to pay. But, while paying they tried selling me the membership, which I knew was coming. Then she complained about how someone got someone to sign up for a membership, but someone else got the credit instead of her. Ugh, I hate places that work on commission. It really sets the tone for customers. I've always said watch what you say and do in a waiting room while customers are around.
