I was surprised by the cost and by the questions about whether my nails needed to be trimmed due to normal growth since my last fill. The pricing seemed high compared to what I've paid elsewhere. I was excited to try this place after reading reviews but unfortunately I had a terrible experience. I got a gel manicure and it was horrible. The lady skipped steps and did it in a rush. The polish was crooked and missing in spots. 1 week later and everything is peeling. I definitely will not be going back here again. I let the woman doing my pedicure know about the crooked nail polish and she said it's because of my cuticles however there were empty spots on my actual nail bed. Went here a few days ago for a pedicure and thankfully didn't need to make an appointment. The woman behind the counter told me to pick out a polish and go to the chair. Overall I didn't feel like the quality of the pedicure was great. My nails were cut unevenly (square shape on one toe and rounded on the other!?) and there was a good amount of polish on my skin not cleaned up. Also I was asked several times if I wanted to upgrade my pedicure or receive other services so that was a bit of a nuisance. Probably wouldn't come back unless I was in a bind. read more

I was here today, I'm reading the reviews below and I didn't have a similar experience. I felt like everything was fairly dirty- clippings on the floor, the woman used the same utensils she had used prior, she also used the cuticle pusher to unclog the Drain while my feet were in the water, I watched her put the brush and pumice stone in the drawer and watched her get them out again for the next customer while my toes were drying without any cleaning. I went to two other salons locally and got turned away. I came here and was greeted by two happy ladies ready to help me. There was a family in there and they seemed to be having a great time. I asked for a full set and they did try to push the gel, but I always go for regular polish. I asked for the coffin shape & they did amazing!! The lady that did my nails really took her time for each nail. I have NEVER felt as welcomed at a salon as I did here. They treated me like a regular despite it being my first time there. I've been to this place twice and the last experience I had will for sure make me not go back. I got a full set of acrylics and the tips with sparkles 65 dollars down the drain. I spent 3 hours there and was never seated with the same person. When I asked why it was so expensive the lady told me that it was 3 dollars to cut my nails down but 10$ extra because they were long???? There are no prices listed anywhere so you basically just get what you get. Oh but don't worry they give you a 3$ coupon every time you go. Waste of time and money go to collegeville Nails. Had a mani and pedi two days ago. Cindy gave me one of the best pedicures I've ever had, she knows how to use her hands to apply pressure in the right places on the foot and calf muscles. It felt so good. Between my leg massage, the hot stone leg massage, and the little massage I was getting from the chair-I was in Heaven! Everyone is very kind and accommodating. The salon and equipment are very clean. What a nice little gem! I've already booked my third appointment for a couple weeks from now. I do have one thing I think would benefit the salon - currently, customers cannot add tips when using a card to pay. Remember to bring cash! I'd like to see the salon use a card machine that allows them to add tips. read more

Experience has been very good. Price is very reasonable for the same service. They do not rip you off by charging the painted pattern for little girls like other places (e.g., Oaks Nails) occasionally do. They also offer complimentary hot tea and water bottles, maybe coffee, too, but I can't say for sure. I don't go for fancy stuff, just the basic manicure and pedicure, regular and UV gel, so can't comment on the nail art if that's what you are looking for. My experience has been great with their younger staff. The older ones are meh, polish is frequently uneven and onto the skin, while complaining that my fingers are not positioned correctly for them. Now appointments. They are not consistent in getting your appointment on time, so manage your expectations. So in short, go there on a week day when things aren't expected to be heavy and ask for the youngest staff, and you'll be fine. read more

This is the only nail place I go to now. For whatever reason their gel manicure lasts longer than anywhere else I go. Plus, they have a lot of really talented nail artists there. So far they have been able to do every crazy design I've found on the internet and I get a ton of compliments on my nails. They did remodel over the summer, but that's finished. Now the just seem to be constantly seem to be improving something in the salon so every time it's just a little bit better. read more

Do not go here! New owner so say they are remodeling but should close during renovations bc place is a mess with dirty floors and awful service. Started by burning my feet with scalding water then all of my toenails were crooked and polish left all over my feet. Asked to to get corrected and other manicurist used clipper she was using for another client and then asked for another person to do my nails. She never checked on me to see if I was dry and I had to beg for someone to pull out my tie separators and get oil. Truly awful experience. read more

So disappointed with the Top Nails. I had a bad experience. The polish I picked was thick and the first coat was bad. The woman said it will be ok so I let her put on a second coat - only worse. I picked a second polish and it was just a bad - the next day I had black streaks in the polish because the polish was so old the colors were separating . Their polish display is placed by the window so adding to drying out the polish. Also the owner walks around looking over the shoulder of her workers making for a uncomfortable environment. Also the place feels unclean. Will never go there again. read more
