Has been a pain to get ahold of anyone. Only way to contact is text. Everytime I have called he will text me back. I'm trying to vacate my unit before the end of the month and the gate code got change so I called again got a text back with different gate code. Now I go to my unit and there is a red lock on it. We paid our bill almost two weeks ago. Due to them not taking the payment out with the new card that was provided. I live in Odessa and don't have time to come back. So instead of leaving today like planned I will be staying till Monday to try and get my items out of the unit. This is ridiculous. How am I supposed to empty my unit out and clean it if there is a lock on the unit? Not only that he sends a text that he is on vacation. So what am I supposed to do if there is a lock? I'm supposed to be out of it by the end of the month. Are they just going to take all my things in the unit?!? read more

My wife and I had been customers of 439 Storage since 2010. Over the past year there has been a decrees in quality of service and appearance of the facility. Folks would leave their units and trash was starting to pile up. The new management does not care about the customer nor the appearance of the facility. There has been recent vandalism to the facility. We had direct deposit with them from day one, one day we were unable to gain access to the facility because they change the gate code monthly. I requested that we receive and e-mail/ letter stating what the new gate code was and that was denied but I was told that I could call every 1st of the month to find out the new gate code after our deposit was cleared! October 2012 we discovered that our climate controlled unit was no longer climate controlled and the lights in the building no longer worked. When we brought this to the managements attention they failed to insure the lights were working the building #3. December 2012 the lights were still inoperable and the trash continued to pile up and still no climate control I asked to speak to the manager, I was told that the girl behind the desk on the cell phone was the property manager and that I could address the problems with her. When I asked for the owners name and contact information she informed me that she was more that willing to pass anything that I had to say on to them. I then asked if there was an address that I could have for the owner so I could write a letter with my concerns. She again failed to give me the information. We then received a letter stating that our rent was going up..... We moved out as of January 2013. read more

Before 10Federal took over there was an actual human manager with an office in the little shack out front who could answer questions and take payments if needed. Now the place is 100% "'managed" through an AI system. You can't reach a human. And the online portal is next to useless. I changed my debit card and called to update the information for automatic payments, but the AI CAN NOT DO THAT! I felt it was a fair quote. It was in between the highest and the lowest quote. We agreed to pay $150 for coming and taking them out of our home and to the dump. Dustin arrived exactly on time. (0930) unfortunately he had to park in the street because our ancient Durango would not start so I couldn't move it or he could've pulled up a little closer into the driveway. After introducing himself, I let him in to take a look at the recliners which I had moved up into the front of our home. They were even willing to drive all the way to Lake Charles from Beaumont, TX, on a weekend no less, and got right to work with a smile. Also, take note of the fact that they had to move a ton of stuff out of a 2nd floor apartment with very narrow stairs and only charged a minimal fee for the extra work that entailed. Bottom line: 10/10, would absolutely recommend them for hauling anything you can fit in a utility trailer.
