In 2004, I had Advanced Aluminum add a small room addition. To say it was a horrible experience would be an understatement. It was just one problem after another. I recently was able to look up the details of my addition on the county permit search portal and it disclosed many issues (including several failed inspections) that were never reported to me during or after the construction. Needless to say it explains all the problems that arose in the following years. I called the owner several times when I started noticing the problems but got tired of all the back and forth and eventually just gave up and dealt with the problems as they arose. In July 2020 my parents contracted with Advanced Aluminum (AA) to screen in their entryway and enclose their back patio with an insulated kick-plate, screens, and vinyl windows. This work was completed while they were in Pennsylvania. My parents made two partial payments by credit card at the beginning and during the project. At project completion they were still away and had only seen a few pictures of the work. At that point they paid in full except for $300 which was left to pay once they arrived back to the property and could inspect the final product. My parents arrived back in Florida at the end of October and called AA to explain their disappointment with the quality of the work. Pieces were miscut, cut short and crooked, the room leaked, daylight showed through door jambs, caulking was poorly done, the front entry door dragged on the ground and could not be opened fully, door plunger was attached in the wrong place, etc. They requested that the installed items be taken out and re-done. After many calls, my parents decided to dispute the charges with their credit card. Once the disputes were opened AA sent two employees to look at the project. They agreed that it was a poor job. My parents were told that the owner of AA would decide further action. After numerous additional calls, the owner came out on December 4 to see the job. This was 5 weeks after the first call notifying them of the issues. AA had several excuses for the poor quality, mainly citing inexperienced workers. AA assured my parents that they could repair the work and make it right. AA worked one day to attempt to cover-up the mistakes, but the work still looks unprofessional and the back porch still leaks. The employees stated that they would return to complete the repairs. At the end of this one day of attempted repairs AA requested final payment by check. My parents did not make payment because the job was still not completed professionally. On December 7 AA called to request payment again. My parents again notified them that the job was not completed. On December 12 my parents received a notice of intent to lien. AA has not completed the work and my parents do not intend to pay for any of the work completed to date as it needs to be removed and replaced. Based upon their performance and actions I would strongly suggest not hiring AA. read more

OK, this sure has been an ordeal. I've gotta give Brian and his roofer subs an "A" for effort. They did at least try and get all the drips stopped. The effort and attention put into getting it fixed earned another star. It's better than it was, but I still have some drips here and there occasionally. My light never got put back up by an electrician so I did it my self and it's been working fine with no leaking water to into it. I get it. Sometimes it's just not able to be fixed unless you start over. read more

Stay away from this company they tell you that they will install your screen room in 6 to 8 weeks. When they are well past that they salesman Dan tells you to call the city about the permit and when you do you are told this is typical of Advanced Aluminum. They want 50% upfront and have you sign paperwork stating that they can lien your property if you don't pay... But their workmanship is despicable, my 8 year log grandson could do a more professional job. The installers didn't listen and screwed up and left saying someone else would fix it!!!! They did a horrible job left metal shavings everywhere ..we have dogs that need to go out to potty!!!!! We tried calling Dan he was on vacation and Bob was fishing or so the installers said. Communicating and expecting a response in a reasonable amount of time is like going to the dentist with no Novocain. Plus, they left construction notations on my aluminum studs and house. They drilled a hole in my roof inside the screened area by accident which is there forever. No consideration given for that permanent cluster. On the plus side, it only took them 8 months to do the work. I'm glad I have the porch, so they get one star for making that happen. Otherwise, I'm not able to recommend them. read more

DO NOT EVER HIRE THESE PEOPLE ! they will do the initial job and then give you a warranty but never come back. . they sealed the roof (mobile home) still had a leak, took tons of phone calls and over a month to get them back out to fix it. meanwhile knowing about the buckets of water coming out of the light fixture. the original area I was concerned about in the first place. then I call them back to tell them I have a new leak,,,, they put me on the board but would not make an appointment. called them over and over again. only to get the run around. I said that the ceiling tile in the living room is getting water damage every time it rains. ANOTHER MONTH AND HALF-2 MONTHS GOES BY.....had to make a complaint to the BBB TO GET THEM TO CALL ME BACK. bad company!!!! THEY NEVER CAME OUT. Had a new excuse every time I talked with them. now I am sitting here with the ceiling tiles so badly damaged that it will be more money to fix that once I find a roofer that actually will work on another roofers roof job. they are all saying they do not want to touch it if it is under warranty by another guy! wow wow wow!!!!!!!!! The contractors they sent out were rude to my mother and her neighbor. The first time the "contractors" brought wrong type and color of awning. The contractor gave my mother a hard time when she told them that she didn't want it. The second time the same "contractors" came with the correct awning they but they didn't put it up correctly. They left screws all over the front of the house and were very rude. She had to make multiple phone calls to get them to come back out to actually fix it and she stated that she didn't want them to come out and fix the awning while she wasn't at home. She set up a day and time for them to come out and of course they came out and "fixed" it while she wasn't home. Shady company! read more

Everything everyone is staying is true!This company Especially Brian are dishonest ,lazy ,thieves who do lousy work and don't stand behind their "so called" warranty.
