We were in Michigan attempting to handle my 92-year-old mother's health issues. A complete loss of hearing had left her isolated. Our time was limited. We called two audiologists. The first laughed us off and said "no way" we could get my mother an appointment on such short notice. We then called Advanced Audiology and explained we were only there (from California) for two weeks. They had no appointments available, but shuffled things around, called another patient and moved that appointment, and scheduled my mom. Before we returned to California her hearing aids had arrived.
