My knee and hip and then my neck, i needed a chiropractor, non force of course. I called Dr Latter's office and they were able to fit me in the next day. After a short conversation, Dr Latter did some Magic and 30 minutes later I felt like I could hop, skip and run up and down the beach. I had my first visit with Dr Bill Latter and can only rave about his approach!! He's truly enthusiastic about healing his patients - and I'm a tough case. I have sinus pain, very weak psoas muscle from running injuries and a hiatal hernia. He took his time and explained everything he was doing AND showed me how to do some key exercises at home. I randomly fell victim to a pinched nerve one night and could barely get out of bed the next morning. I couldn't sit, stand, or especially lay down without pretty horrible, constant pain. I saw that Dr. Latter specialized in pinched nerves, and called 20 min. before they opened to see if I could get a same-day appointment. Luckily he squeezed me in and tried to make it as early as possible so I wouldn't miss my flight later that afternoon. Dr. Latter conducted a great session, walking me through what the root issue was and explaining techniques as he performed them. They did a quick ultrasound therapy after the session and within an hour I felt back to 80% compared to how immobile I was that morning. While on vacation in Kihei, in February, I really needed to go see Dr. Latter. I had lower back spasms so severe that I was almost unable to move because of the pain. I was very fortunate that I was able to get an appointment the very next day. After the 1st treatment by Dr. Latter, and doing the prescribed exercises, I was able to get around so much better. Dr. Latter junior is every bit as amazing as the now-retired Dr. Latter senior. I was skeptical, because the original Dr. Latter was the best chiropractor I've ever found, and I've been to more chiropractors than your average bear. I did extreme sports in my heyday and now I'm living with the extreme fallout in my 60s. (but it was fun) Maybe it's in the DNA, or maybe he just learned from 'the master', but young Dr. Latter definitely has the gift. I was involved in a hit and run accident on the mainland and wanted to continue my chiropractic treatment while I am on Maui for 3 weeks. I read about a few Chiropractors on Yelp that were convenient to where I am staying. I called one lady and her personality was as stiff as a snail in the back kitchen of a French restaurant. I wasn't feeling her over the top personality so I moved forward with contacting Dr. Latter's office. He contacted me back that day and I was seen with very little hassle. Don't let his voice mail message on the phone alarm you as he is least from intimidating. Dr. Latter expresses great business acumen, kind, professional and a strong communicator. I prefer the manual manipulations to correct areas that are off balance as oppose to those joy stick apparatus that other chiropractors like to demonstrate on the body. Thorough, professional & talented...not big adjustments. I visited Kihei to help a friend working on a house. I did a long day of hard work and ended up having trouble walking. I went to a recommended masseuse who was also trained in acupressure, Alicia. I did not get relief from the massage - she highly recommended Dr. Latter who she also uses. Long story short....Saturday I played volleyball with my 2 teenagers. I played like I was 20, but my almost 40yr old body did not like it. Monday morning I was in excruciating pain. Could barely get out of bed. Since I was going on vacation to Maui I saw my chiropractor in California on Tuesday and Wednesday hoping that I would be pain free for my vacation. I arrived in Maui Thursday morning still with pain in my neck. Friday morning I was in tears, I kept thinking that it's going to get better . Maybe a was babying it too much? Chiropractors can be very hit or miss. As a pilot, I have to routinely find medical care on the road. I won the lottery by choosing Dr. Latter here at Advanced Chiropractic. I am 6'4" with bad posture. Needless to say I've had extensive experience with chiros. Dr. Latter has tons of experience and isn't the type to rush you through an adjustment and move you along. I saw Dr. Latter on 11/20/17 while I was vacationing in Maui with my husband. I was experiencing some fairly significant pain in my back and leg. While on my honeymoon my lower back went out causing extreme pain. i was unable to drive so I limped the half mile to Dr. Latter's office. I was not expecting the results I found!
