I have never been rushed in and out more quickly at any medical appointment in my entire life. Defiantly felt like a number, not a patient

My pre-auth was not completed (although not necessary for the procedure) which took 3 min to figure out and I was then told there was not enough time for my excision and that I would need to wait another month for an appnt. No consideration to get me in earlier given Clarity's mistakes nor anything done to help me feel that I actually mattered not only as a patient but as a person. My PA was Allison. She knew exactly what was going on but left it to her MA to speak to me. Disappointed doesn't explain it. Please be mindful of coming here if you want to feel "seen" and cared for.

She's been waiting to see them for a month and she called today to tell them that she was going to be a couple minutes late. They are making her wait another month to see them. The appointments I have been to only gave my wife 5-8 minutes of face time. There is no reason they needed cancel her appointment completely and make her wait a month to see them again. This is an unacceptable way to run a practice. She is a stay-at-home Mom so her condition makes it extremely difficult for her to do basic things like change diapers. Thanks to Clarity Dermatology, she gets to continue experiencing this for another month.

Be careful, definitely look elsewhere for a dermatologist. My first visit seemed alright, except…read morethe doctor spent maybe 5 minutes with me. This second visit I was supposed to come back and get a pregnancy test and get officially prescribed accutane. I should've realized that there was a problem when the assistant who took me to the room, asked me if I was already on accutane--well clearly not if that's what this second appointment was for right? Well, I tell her that I need to get on it as that was the purpose of this appointment, so she sends the doctor in (took the doctor 20 minutes to make it to my room, never mind the fact that I can hear her and the various assistants outside loudly giggling and talking about their patients). The doctor, once again, sees me for maybe 5 minutes at most and then tells me she'll prescribe me the accutane and see me in a month. I wait in the room for another 10 minutes and then the assistant comes back in and tells me that she actually isn't able to get the accutane prescribed or do a pregnancy test because it hadn't been a whole month since the first visit (the receptionist was adamant about scheduling me early for my second visit, how interesting). So the assistant told me I would just have to buy my drugstore pregnancy test and email them a photo of it next week and then I'd still have to wait a whole other month to get prescribed accutane...oh and I still have to pay my copay for a visit that wasn't what it was supposed to be. Nice. I've tried bringing this up with their office manager--who doesn't answer the phone. I also tried calling their front office directly--they don't answer either. Oh and when I was finally able to get someone directly from their scheduling department, she had to apparently transfer me back to the front office to actually get confirmation on whether I could get my appointment cancelled. Guess what the front desk did.....anything but answer their phone.

I unfortunately ignored the other negative reviews because I wanted a female dermatologist in Castle Rock. That was a mistake. Dr. Broomer has the worst bedside manner of any doctor I've ever been to, and I've been to a lot! I've seen probably close to a dozen different dermatologists over the years and have never felt so humiliated, uncomfortable, and mortified because of such lack of tact and compassion. Dr. Broomer may well be a kind, knowledgeable doctor but you just can't tell by how she acts. She made so many rude comments about my skin that I was in tears by the end of the appointment. I was literally shaking while telling my husband about it. I've spent near 4 months thinking about this. I don't want to speak badly about the whole practice. The front desk lady was very nice, things were run on time, and the doctor might be a total genius, I don't know. That's why I gave it two stars. What I do know is that, with my skin history, I will need to see this doctor likely several times a year for the foreseeable future and I need to not feel like I'm going to have a panic attack each time I go. If you don't care about bedside manner and are not a sensitive type, then this practice might work fine for you. But for a woman who is already insecure about her skin (though not because of any other doctor, all other dermatologists I've seen have been nothing but kind and professional) her lack of tact and rudeness was almost traumatizing. If you are a woman and/or sensitive, I would strongly discourage you from seeing Dr. Broomer.

She gave me a break down on what would work best for my acne. The receptionist is wonderful, friendly, and professional. She worked with me when I had a family emergency come up. I would give one more star if the medical assistant that assisted me would have been a little more friendly. I was going over my medical history with her in regards of my acne and other things leading to it. She seemed very cold and not too friendly. I would expect to be treated with care since I work in customer service. She was getting frustrated with me going over details of what treatments I've had before. I will still see Dr Broomer, but please improve the better patient services with medical assistants.

She sits down with you to hear you and offer you all of her expert knowledge and advice. She obviously cares deeply about her patients/clients and has put an enormous personal effort into her own learning and training, and she teaches new injectors to offer training she had to find for herself. I'm not looking to be an injector, but if I was I would be trying to study with/learn from Lauren! The last place I went just put "fluffy" filler in my lips for "volume" without listening to what I wanted at all. Lauren listened to me, knew exactly what I was asking for and described the process and technique she would use, the product and the results and 100% delivered exactly what I wanted! I could not be happier with the experience and the results. I also had pretty much no bruising at all, and it's nice that they offer full numbing if you want! I didn't get it (since I needed to eat soon after) but the other place I've gone didn't have that as an option (or they didn't offer it to me). If you want a super friendly, super awesome and super knowledgeable and trustworthy person to take care of your face, I definitely recommend Lauren!! Also (coming from Southern California anyway) the prices at Beauty by Buford are very reasonable!

I saw two different doctors here and neither one could accurately diagnose an infection that I have…read morehad on my scalp for five years. Two biopsies were taken, and nothing was found, which leads me to think the biopsies were not thorough. But I know there is infection as whenever I do a bioenergetic test, Leishmaniasis shows up on the scan. What's more, whenever I take strong anti-parasitic medications, more sores appear on my scalp - as if the parasites are exiting my body in the presence of the medication (But the meds aren't strong enough to eliminate the infection completely, which is why I came here, to hopefully get more answers). But when I told both practitioners this, they disregarded the possibility of a parasitic infection (as they tend to do in allopathic, or conventional medicine) - condescendingly stating that if I had parasites, I would be very acutely ill. But this is not true at all. I am a medical writer and health and wellness author of over 20 books, and it is a fact that many people (in the good ol' USA) have active protozoal, roundworm, fluke and/or tapeworm infections - and they are not necessarily acutely ill. But allopathic doctors don't really believe this because conventional tests don't detect parasites outside of the GI tract (and most actually live in organs such as the liver, heart and brain, and so lab tests don't exist for many of the parasites out there). You need to use a sophisticated bioenergetic testing device such as a ZYTO and/or Applied Kinesiology techniques to find them. Nonetheless, it was disappointing to spend nearly $1,000 at this clinic and a lot of my time, only to get no answers. I'm reminded of why I don't typically go to conventional (insurance-based) doctors. They just don't know enough about the root causes of disease today (such as chronic infections, environmental toxins, nutrient deficiencies and so on) and how to treat them. Further, I wasn't satisfied with the clinic because they don't answer the phone when you call, and you have to leave a message and then wait for them to call back several days later. It can therefore be a hassle to schedule appointments.
