The good, pleasant employees and clean newer office spaces. The not so good. Saw Mandy Moore, ARNP. well as a former Melanoma survivor and multiple patient I can tell you her cursory exam was absolutely a waist of my time and money. The only light she used was the overhead office room lighting, no dermatoscope or similar light to use. She glided over me, no hyfrecator, no freeze of areas that needed it just absolutely horrendous exam of a paitent with 30 years of previous dermetology visits and history. Please don't respond with we are sorry for you disappointment etc, i am sure staff there is well aware of Moore's sub par performance. read more

Their customer/patient service is very poor! I have left two messages with the nurses station requesting a call back to ask about what dosage I should give my daughter because it's not in the packaging. I never received a call back! Then my husband went in person asking to speak to someone and they told him they were too busy. They would call him back soon. Two days later still no call, so he made one last attempt with leaving a message for a nurse to call him back. Still waiting... We will not be returning to this office. read more

Clermont office is very unprofessional & dishonest. Last year I went in for their "Free Skin Check" advertised on their website. They wanted my insurance information beforehand so I gave it.. I left the office then they billed my insurance causing me to have to pay a deductible. I called management, they apologized then refunded my money. I should have filed with the BBB then but didn't. I went in this year for my annual free skin check & had to go back the week after because I thought that I forgot to ask about a spot & they dI'd it again twice. $640 for 5 minutes of their time. This time I've called for a manager 6 times to get this straightened out with but they keep playing games & sweeping me under the rug wasting my time. The receptionist even told me that there is no boss of the Clermont office manager lol STAY AWAY FROM CLERMONT ADVANCED DERMATOLOGY. This time I'm filing a complaint with the BBB & disputing their charges with my insurance. read more

I saw Mandy Moore (ARNP) and she was the least thorough dermatologist I've ever been to. As a former melanoma patient I was highly disappointed that she barely checked me. I paid $50 for her to skip over half of my body. The parking situation is horrendous. Expect to drive around for 10-20 mins just to find a spot a mile away. read more

Experience was awful I had a reaction to the lidocaine injection for a biopsy the nurse left room right after the injection I passed out and fell off the exam table taken to the hospital via ems had to have stitches in my head and now have a head concussion I have been back to emergency room three times have to go to a concussion clinic and neurologist I have not been able to work or drive a car when I called the office to ask if they can help pay the medical bills they said they where not responsible would not recommend this place to anyone read more

Service to have my squamous area removed and another area biopsied was fast and efficient. However, they never return phone calls.

My surgery went very well. Dr. B and his assistant were pleasant and the surgery on my upper thigh went well. When I returned 12 days later to have my stitches removed I was informed my stitched area was macerated. The tech removed the stitches and told me not to do anything but wash and pat dry because the area had a gap. When I returned 4 days later concerned about the area I was told they would apply steri-strips solely due for my piece of mind. The same tech asked me why I just didn't apply steri strips at home and I told her that I wasn't sure how to apply them.Her response was "well I thought you had the medical know how since tyou mentioned using them! Upon leaving she told me that I should be grateful that I was in America and my insurance covered everything and just move forward! I left a message for the office manager the following morning, but have yet to receive any response. Needless to say, I will never return for any further treatment. read more

As much as I dislike having to have Mohs surgery, I can't offer enough confidence and praise for Dr. Rivera Roig and the Advanced Dermatology surgical staff. They are all unsurpassed in their knowledge and delightful with their patient interactions; both will leave you in stitches. :) read more

Sarah is fantastic, she removed a spot off my nose in December 2024 and came back with cancer, had to go for a consultation with a plastic surgeon in the same building, that appointment was in January. I've been trying to set a appointment up to complete the procedure and advanced dermatology can't pick up a phone or returning calls that I've left for the last several weeks, this includes a stop in the office to try to make the appointment face to face. Staff is useless on customer service and returning calls. Think twice before going here for any of your dermatology needs. read more

Dr. Valerie Rivera-Roig has been my Dermatologist since several years ago and has removed premalignant Nevus on the skin on several times with no complications. She is in my opinion the best Dermatologist in the world is up to date, she explains your skin conditions with you, the treatment, prognosis and she is very humane, friendly, professional and bilingual. I will reccomend her without hesitation. read more

Clermont office visit. Had a skin cancer removed from back of head, Arrived 10 min early for scheduled appointment, waited an hour to be seen. Procedure was done with open doors no privacy from waiting room. After after Moh's procedure completed closure of incision done again with open doors, NO PRIVACY. Assistant attempted to put a cover back on my neck that had fallen on floor I insisted on a clean one. The floors in the rooms I was seen in have not been cleaned and buffed in years dirt under cabinets, in corners, broken Suture needle laying on floor. Old tape bits on side of table in room. Office was run like a production line. read more

My daughter has struggles with acne since middle school she waited 2 months for an appointment just to go there and have to wait another month for accutane which is understandable because that is the policy. The doctors filled out her i pledge wrong so now we will have to wait another month. They weren't apologetic at all which disgust me. read more

This place is a literal insurance SCAM. I went in for a normal skin cancer screening and everything turned out fine. I was charged my copay and they also billed me an additional amount for what should have been a fully covered preventative exam. They stated that it was a "specialist" charge, but they did not even put the correct provider on the paperwork submitted to insurance. That provider was not even physically there that day. My insurance company even contacted them directly to get everything sorted out and they refused to do anything about it. read more

Had a great experience with Doctor Swansen (hope I spelled it correctly). The entire staff was kind and easy to work with. Check in was a breeze... I waited probably 10 minutes max before seeing the doctor. Check out was fast. The lady behind the desk was also kind and had a pleasant smile on her face. I was recently seen at this Dermatology office, in Clermont, by a Nurse Practitioner. I had warts on my neck that I wanted removed. The Practitioner used nitrogen to remove the warts. At the time, I saw nothing wrong with this because I placed my trust in her. Now, I have scars, white blotches, on my neck from the procedure. I discussed this situation with another Doctor and he told me nitro should not be used on a person of my skin color (non-caucasin) due to scaring potential. He said the wart should have been cut off. I was highly upset about this situation and called the this office and left a message. I still have not received a phone call back. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

Been going there for a while. I can't tell you how many calls texts and emails I get with them offering promotions or asking me to buy additional products. I show up today for my appointment they are not only 45 minutes late, then when I go to pay I got a leave find out that more was done then what I asked for and now they're charging an extra 3% if you use a credit card had no point did I receive a call email or text to tell me that. They've always taken a credit card and I pay by credit card so to show up then require payment without telling me I am wanting to charge 3% for using the credit card is not acceptable. Dr Bibliowicz was very nice. After that the whole experience with this group went down hill. The portal messaging system doesn't work or perhaps they ignore messages sent through the system. In addition, if you are looking for an answer from the nurses line don't bother. I left several messages on different days and never received a callback. I am grateful my situation was not emergent. The past couple of visits were poor. Long wait in the office, then a one minute visual full body scan, that's it. When I asked about a particular spot it was like or that's nothing...but what is it? Very cold and unpersonable staff, especially Mandy. And there's been a large turnover in Doctors and nurses...that's not a good sign. Won't be going back there. read more

My initial contact and appointment went well. I enjoyed the doctor and staff. I had an irritated tag on the back of my leg and was asked if I wanted it frozen to remove. I initially said yes, but then asked if this was included in my co-pay or if I would have to pay extra. They checked and let me know it would cost me $191.00 so I said no thanks, and the procedure was not performed. I have been billed for this procedure that was not provided since the beginning of May. I am receiving "past due" notices. Billing dept. can't do anything unless the office tells them it was a billing error. I have left multiple messages for the office Manager - no call back. So disappointed....I have notified my insurance carrier and now I will have to file a complaint for false billing. Fortunately, I still have the irritated tag on the back of my leg for proof. I thought I had been to this doctor before but found out real quickly I booked at a different dermatologist. The staff was very friendly and I loved Mandy Moore. She was positive, upbeat and easy to talk too. She did the biopsy and also removal of my skin cancer. I had to go back and Dr Montalvo was amazing. He did my leg surgery and removal of another spot. He was easy to talk too and just an all around great guy. He knew I was nervous but he made me feel safe and that all would be ok. I highly recommend this advanced dermatology. read more

Just went here for my 1st visit and I recommend Dr. Montalvo HIGHLY!! He is easy going, makes you feel like your the only patient in the office, and takes time with you. His bedside manner is fantastic and his staff was very friendly. I will be going back, and suggest if your looking for a good Dermatologist to see Dr. Montalvo. Update: over a year later and still coming here.. Doctor Montalvo and his staff are PHENOMENAL.. only issue would be that they are so busy, and sometimes run behind schedule, but it's worth the wait:) read more

I enjoy visiting Dr. Rivera and her staff. Even though I have an office 15 minutes from my house, I prefer to drive to the Clermont office.

No one calls you back. I have placed 3 phone calls over the last 8 days simply to refill a prescription. They are horrible with follow-up.

As a new patient, I was able to get an appointment within a week. Very comfortable office and friendly staff. My issue was taken care of in one visit. I would recommend this office for anybody who is not sure where to go. read more

The office staff seem very nice but we tried twice to visit the dermatologist here and both times the doctor was running more than an hour behind. It wouldn't be acceptable for us to show up an hour late for our appointment.... I understand and expect that they can be a little behind, but an hour? I am very disappointed with the way they were billing. My mom came there for skin test and we repeatedly asked if her insurance covered for the test. Susan, the manager of the office back in August 2019, insisted that we only need to pay $15 for the patch and the insurance covered for everything else. A month later, they billed us $200 for the test. I called the office and Susan even said that the issue was out of her control once it sent to billing department. I contacted billing department and talked the supervisor there named Wilmary. She said she had to discuss with her manager and keep me updated but she never called back. They stopped sending the bill for several so I I thought she had already taken care of the issue. However, just last week, February, I received the same bill with $5 for bill over 120 days. Try to contact them, no answer. Think twice when you use any service here, even they said your insurance cover for your service, you might end up paying for it and Susan and the people at billing department are liars. Do not trust their 5 star review on their website, they hide the bad reviews and only post the good ones. no wonder why they are 5 stars on website and BBB C-, you can check their BBB rating read more
