Then was taken to the area for the bone density test. Again, was seen quickly, the technician was terrific...asked if I had questions, and if I was comfortable. I was done and out in a hour and even though I go every year, they seemed exceptionally on top of their game today.

It was a no brainer to go back to them for needed (OT) for my left hand. They are patient and know how hard to push you to get better. Even with an 8am appointment, I was nowhere near first in line, and didn't get called back until 8:15. Not horrible, but definitely not ideal. Heading back in for my X-Ray, I found out that back of the house is every bit as friendly and efficient as the front. Out in literally 5 minutes.

I did arrive early, and so thankful I did, because just standing at the line to check in took a few minutes, as the two staff people at the front desk seemed to be asking a lot of questions just for check-ins, and even though there is a few feet of distance between the desk and where the waiting line begins, I could hear the employee ask a question about cancer history, which seemed pretty intense and private for an open waiting room. The line behind me quickly grew to the entire length of the rather large waiting room. I filled up my water bottle at the coffee counter. They have a nice water machine, but there were no paper towels or napkins in sight. We didn't wait long, and the folks who performed the x-ray were kind and fun with my kid. Thank you!

They are actually affiliated with Akumin but they're not like any other Akumin location I've been to. There is adequate staffing. No crowded waiting room. Your appointment is on time so don't be late. The employees seem actually happy to be there taking care of your needs. I highly recommend this location over any other. Maybe I should have kept that to myself.

The staff are efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. At all four appointments we were called a couple days ahead to explain our copay, then sent reminders, at least twice, then taken ahead of schedule at each visit. Pretty impressive. My last appointment was for an MRI where I needed an IV to administer a dye. I have an emotional reaction to IV's where I often pass out. I told Claudia and Joe (the technicians). They handled it flawlessly. You could not even see a needle mark the next day. They thought it was no big deal. Believe me, it was.

This was at 6080 Boynton Beach Blvd. They called me just before I got back home and tried to make it look as though it was *my* fault for not complaining to them at the front desk before leaving. Wrong. There were people in line at the front desk, and I had already seen them shoo away other patients who tried to approach with questions after checking in. BOTTOM LINE: They're making way more appointments than they have the capacity to service. Also, there is no way to file a complaint by telephone with them. Call their number and you get the infamous "our menu options have changed" greeting, but none of those options involve feedback on their service (or lack thereof).

He was given a tablet to then fill out and correct paperwork. There were some major errors on it -- like saying he was female (!). After filling out and signing the various consent forms, he returned the tablet to the desk. Then waited to be called. He was called to one of the windows -- there are 7 -- to get his ids returned. Then back to waiting to be called for the procedure. The scan itself took no time at all. After the procedure, he had to get back in the first line to ask for the results disk that the doctor had wanted. Back to waiting -- they said 10 minutes. But it's been a lot longer.... Considering how many people they were serving, the whole experience didn't seem that long. They do appear to have a system and seem fairly organized. The wait for the disk has now been longer than the prep and the wait for the procedure!

Visited this diagnostic center for a scan as prescribed by my doctor…read more Minimal wait time to check in and get a tablet to populate information and consent form fields. The technician performing my scan was mechanical, lacking any personality. Scan completed and I had to stand in line to request a disc of my procedure and then at the desk I was told to have a seat and wait 10 to 15 minutes for a disc. (Waiting now ... if it is any longer I'll edit this review) Update ... my 10 - 15 minute wait turned into a 50 minute wait.
