Beautiful office! Everything is up to date, very modern and refreshing! The staff is A-MAY-ZING! As soon as you walk in someone is there with a smiling face. I'm awful with names, but from the technician, to the doctor, to the woman who helped me pick frames... they were all so nice and welcoming. The staff is always friendly and helpful, however..... the consultants that your order your glasses/contacts through are atrocious. I stopped coming here years ago because I always had problems ordering my glasses. Come back and similar issues. On the day of my appointment, the gentleman was upset because I didn't want to order new frames, just lenses and started giving me the cold shoulder. "Well can you be without your glasses for 7-10 business days? We can't measure anything here. It all has to be shipped out." Can you be without your glasses for that long?...... I left without ordering. Came back a couple days later to try to order lenses again. The older woman has been ignoring me, talking snidely with her coworkers about my insurance in front of me. Talk about customer service. Doctors and front desk staff though!!! 5 stars to them!!!! read more

I have been a patient of Brian Miller for about 18 years. He was originally in my HMO, before he left to start this practice with his brother Mark. I followed him, even tho I was no longer insured for vision, and he worked with me. He is once again in my insurance program, which thrills me. He was as loyal to me as I was with him. My primary sent me for an exam by their "diabetic" referred eye practice, and the exam was not only less than Brian provides on a regular basis, but that "specialist" never spoke to me. He had an assistant that he dictated to, who answered my questions and could only apologize for the doctor. I know my eyes are safe with Brian, and if he were not available in case of emergency, I know I would be comfortable with Mark, who is always in the office and ready with a smile and hi to his brother's patients. I've been going to the Miller Brothers for the last couple of years and I love them. My Glaucoma Doctor referred them to me. So I see them several times a year, they are great and help me keep my Glaucoma under control. My husband and I both see them, and we highly recommend this practice. My glasses broke one evening so I began searching for an eye doctor with my new insurance. Some other doctor offices showed being able to make an appointment online so I tried those first. They didn't have appointments until June. I came across Advanced Eyecare, which wasn't too far from my home, and decided I would call them the next morning. I was a brand new patient and was worried about how long it would take to get me in. I called at 9:00am and they got me in for a same day appointment at 11:00am. From the beginning of my phone call to the end of my appointment everyone was extremely nice, very professional, and very helpful. This is such a great place to go for new glasses! My husband had the misfortune of losing his glasses on Mount Charleston, so we chose Advanced Eyecare because of the great reviews. We were able to quickly get an appointment. On arrival, everyone was friendly and helpful. The office is very child-friendly with a separate play area and comfortable seating. I really love the Dr's. here. They are really friendly and actually take the time to explain whats going on. They are not in a huge rush to get back out the door. The reception staff not so much. They called the day before our scheduled appointment and asked if we wanted to come in 1 hr earlier. We said yes and when we get there they act like they have no idea why we where there early. So when its finally time to see the Dr. you have already waited a full hour. That's the bad, and I hate to wait. It's like they don't give a crap about YOUR time. read more

This was my first time getting my eyes checked in about 7 years... wow! I definitely chose a good place to go to. The staff is so friendly, the office is soooo clean (major bonus points). They do have a children's area for those who need to bring their kiddos. I did a normal eye exam and before dilating my pupils the doctor gave me the time to pick out a frame before my eyes went all blurry, which I appreciated. I remember that not being the case 7 years ago. In regards to the frames, they offer high end brands as well as cheap alternative brands (yay!) His staff was on top of it by getting me in with a retinal specialist immediately that day. I've also been getting my eyes checked with Dr. Brian Miller for 12 years now! My family (who also lives across America) continue to come back to Advanced for the professional service and thorough, comprehensive exams. Was very pleased with my 1st visit here, which was a few weeks ago. My visit was for me and my two children. The doctor was easy to deal with and very professional. One thing I loved was the fact that they didn't push product on you- my daughter needed a very very light prescription and the doctor basically said she is fine without glasses for now. The variety of glasses/frames were on par with other places I've been to. My only complaint would be the price of the glasses/frames; I think they were a bit high but nothing outrageous.
