All of the staff here are kind and helpful. The only bummer about my appointment on 1/8/26 was that the machine that tests your peripheral vision was apparently not working that day; they didn't bring that up until I had to ask. But I still give them 5 stars as I've been going there since 2019, and Dr. Coker is the best eye doctor. He explains things and goes over your eye photos with you, explaining what we are looking at, and points out everything and any concerns. He doesn't talk down to you, he's just a nice, real human guy, and he's great with his patients. read more

The worst service. Two times I have ordered and paid for replacement frames and both times they never ordered them. Ordered these frames on January 24th. 1 1/2 months later and they try and make an excuse. If you're wrong, own it. This company definitely does not. They use the "it's probably on back order" excuse each time. They refuse to accept their failures to order it and it shows their pure incompetence as a company. We will definitely be using a different optometrist going forward. read more

I called and was able to get an appointment same day - amazing. I walked in and was helped immediately. Corinne took me to an exam room where she conducted several tests and explained what each machine did and how it worked. Then she took me to a different room and did some more testing and then excused herself and said the doctor would be in shortly. I waited maybe less than 5 minutes. Dr. Coker came in and examined my vision, addressed my concerns, answered my questions, and ensured I was comfortable. 10/10 would recommend. read more

My son had an emergency, so we went to our eye care specialist. Although they were in the middle of a meeting and not yet open, they stopped what they were doing to help him. The level of service and customer care they provide is outstanding. They referred my son to a specialist who was equally exceptional. I actually really like this place. That's weird to say about a eye doctors office but I think they do a good job. The staff is really friendly and accommodating. I feel like the prices are pretty affordable if you don't have health insurance so that's always a good thing. They were very helpful with replacing my damage lenses and putting them back in my old frames because I wasn't ready to retire my frames yet. The only negative thing I have to say is the location is very sneaky. If you blink you'll miss the turn so make sure you're paying full attention otherwise you'll be unhappy to make a necessary U-turn. read more

*UPDATE* I contemplated heavily on this but I just can't not mention my entire experience because it wouldn't be fair or honest to the next person. I did initially have a great experience and I still stand by the fact that the staff that I interacted with were all very nice. I left that day I had an appointment very happy. It was December 12th. I spent about $435 or so after everything was all said and done. I bought beautiful Prada glasses with the blue light filter and the upgraded frames that aren't plastic so they don't scratch as easily the whole thing. I figured because of the holiday season it may take a while to get my glasses so I patiently waited to be contacted even tho when I got home I realized they never even quoted me an expected date. I gave it two weeks or so and called, gave them my name and asked if my glasses arrived. They "checked" told me no which was fine and that was that. I give them a call the following week (mind you these are the same days because they are my off days that I'm calling just different weeks) and again give them my name and ask if they've come in and they "check" and say no and that's alright as well. Finally I call the next week again as it's been a month by this point and they tell me they will call me tomorrow because they wanna check the status. At this point I'm also feeling annoying and I feel bad but it just seemed like a long time especially since we surpassed the holiday season. They do in fact keep their word and call me the next day but the gentleman on the phone tells me there was a hiccup in the system and that my order never went through.. so not only have I been patiently waiting but I've been patiently waiting for nothing... and that they just submitted my order again that day. I thanked the man and that was that. As I thought about it more and more that day it upset me even more and I decided to call back and request a manager. Aurora was very pleasant, she was empathetic and listened to me and apologized. She also personally followed up about my glasses and got them expedited. I told her (which I still also stand by) I wasn't complaining to get any type of reimbursement or to get anyone in trouble but that had I not been "annoying" and persistent how long would I have been waiting before they caught that? And that was a lot of money to spend especially around Christmas time.. she offered me a $50 reimbursement for my trouble but even that was a hassle because their card machine was down for another 2 weeks after I collected my glasses. It was just a messy situation and although I am assuming positive intent and I don't believe it was anything purposeful it makes me a little upset that that was the experience I had after I had really enjoyed myself during my initial visit. I may or may not be back we will see how I feel this December. read more

I hadn't have an eye exam for several years and never since having vision covered by my health insurance so I spent several hours researching my options online. Eye Care About Vegas seemed like a good fit (nearby and would take my insurance), so I made an appointment. I've been to dozens of eye exams in my 70+ years, but never had as thorough and friendly an experience as I did with Eye Care About Vegas. I highly recommend them and in fact on the basis of my comments to my wife she has made an appointment with them for her annual exam. read more

Name should be changed to Eyecare about Money not Vegas. I'd give this place a zero if possible. I don't complain or write reviews but people should know this place is just about putting hidden prices on at the end of your visit. I went in looking only for glasses but was forced into a contact exam I didn't ask for. I am usually an easy going person so I didn't know or was ever told I'd be billed for an exam I didn't even want or ask for. At the end of my exam and after picking my glasses I wanted, I was told it was an extra $60 on top of my what my glasses cost. I was extremely surprised and confused. They told me I can pay it when I come back to pick up my glasses. So a few days past I decided to call to make sure this is normal policy thinking they would be understanding but nope. I got told you talked with the doctor and got trials " which I haven't opened since I got the" so that's what it is. Great customer service. Will not be returning to this place. It's only out for sales not the patients. read more

Went with my fiance for her yearly exam. Having worked in the medical field for many years and being a medical student, I really like this place. Office is very neat and bright. The exam rooms are streamlined so you go from one to the next for different testing before seeing the Optometrist. She saw Dr. Coker, who was excellent. He is the most thorough optometrist I have ever met. Staff is amazing! Karen was super helpful! I wish I had two more hands to give EyeCare about Vegas four thumbs up! This was my second time seeing Dr. Coker and was just as impressed as the first time I visited last year. All of his equipment is state of the art. Super friendly staff and clean office. The best part was the communication about my glasses and contacts order. Was quoted 14 days for my glasses. They were ready in 10 days. Contacts were delivered directly to my house and received text updates up until they arrived. I can't "see" myself having another optometrist look at my eyes...ever. All good things that can be said have probably been said. The doctor was amazingly helpful (sorry forgot the name I'm so SORRY!). Karen did everything she could to help me pick out the frames and get the maximum savings. Cindy was super duper (meet her, you'll see) and so bubbly and helpful. They even made custom glasses for using my computer which sits just out of arms length and no pair of glasses I've ever owned could make me see it clearly. The computer glasses I got here are perfection! I just feel so weird looking at my computer and being able to actually see what I'm writing! It's just so alien to me! Anyway, got my exame and 3 pairs of glasses for for less than about $160 (I can't find my receipt) with my insurance. I won't even mention the other places I've gone only to walk out unhappy. If there were 5+ stars available, they'd get it. Here's what happened...I was on vacation in Vegas and forgot (yes, I know...dumb) all my scleral contact lens items. It was 6:30 pm on a Wednesday when I realized this. I frantically called about 20 eye care places in Vegas to find someone open who could help me in this emergent situation. My lenses do not come out without an apparatus to do so and I cannot sleep in them. I envisioned having to stay awake for 24 hours... I finally hit on this place and when someone answered the phone, they said they would WAIT for me to get there (a 20 min taxi ride) to help me out. I flew there as fast as I could, and met Alize, Jose, and Aurora...all amazing people with compassion who lovingly helped me out and got me what I needed to solve all my problems. I truly cannot thank them enough. They even threw in (for free) my cleaner. They were sweet, knowledgeable, caring, and accommodating. If I lived in Vegas, that's where I'd go. If you're a tourist there, and need anything, they are there to help. They are open I believe until 7pm, which is a blessing. Thank you EyeCare About Vegas for making this trip happy!!! read more

Avoid at all cost. The dr is extremely nice but the staff is incompetent. They try to take advantage of you not knowing your insurance and go over coverages while your eyes are dilated. They use high pressure sales tactics and get upset when you do not want to purchase. Gave incorrect co-pay information and then they just charged and told they would refund if they were wrong. Do not go here unless you want to have to deal with the staff and get poor customer service when you do not want to buy the $500 dollar glasses. read more

All of front staff on other hand was chit chatting about their personal plans, & lives. Felt very uncomfortable hearing how one pushed her boyfriend through a wall, got super drunk, etc. Another lady was even unnecessarily waiting for a quick transaction because staff didn't communicate she was waiting ... too busy talking. Called them with a last minute emergency (couldn't remove/find my contact in my left eye) because my usual optometrist was closed for the evening and I found them on a Yelp search. Even though I had never been to their office before, they told me to immediately come see them and they would help me, no questions asked.
