He said he knows the perfect dentist who is his personal dentist, Dr Ward! He shared how wonderful Dr. Ward is! I called his office asking for a new patient appointment and I couldn't believe how soon I was scheduled an appointment! I had 2 known issues to be addressed and Dr. Ward found one more important issue. His practice is all inclusive with everything needed for routine dentistry and orthodontia, including a lab where he made me a new crown!! Yep, you read that correctly! The most amazing thing for me was that he provided so many interventions in 2 visits where my previous dentist would have provided all the same things in 4-5 visits, if not more! I also do not have all the words I need to express my gratitude for every person I had any type of contact with! Everyone was so personable and treated me with great respect! I recommend Dr.Ward and Dr. Dwenger for anyone who wants to be treated the best ever!! Bettina Voigt

Positives: easy office to get to, plenty of parking, very quick wait times, clean bathroom, good teeth cleanings My only constructive criticism is the professionalism of the staff. I've always had weird interactions with the dental hygienists! One time, there were two hygienists/assistants in the room cleaning my teeth & they were talking about their kids/family problems during my cleaning as if I wasn't there. Another time, I had to get update x-rays but the hygienist kept having to retake them because she kept missing the right shot. And this previous time, I asked the hygienist to explain what she was doing & she gave a brief general overview, then discussed all the Christmas presents she bought for her family. She took her hands out of my mouth each time she talked, so I feel like the appointment took longer than normal haha. Everyone has been pretty nice, but I really do just want to know what exactly they are doing to my teeth.

I have an illnesses which causes me to vomit frequently, sometimes with no warning. I had an episode while in the Martin Dentistry office some time ago. It's not as though they didn't know or hadn't seen it. However, after being late to an appointment which was rescheduled I was ridiculed. Call me silly but I didn't want to uncontrollably vomit all over the dentist or hygienist. Frankly, it's a health risk. I could've easily choked on my vomit during treatment. You can be the best dentist but with an unprofessional, patient facing staff you will eventually lose business. Side note, somehow the office suppressed my Google review. Now I consider them unreliable.

HOWEVER, I will say that this is the first time from start to finish. I changed dentist due to my work and location so this past winter I was looking for a new dentist. I asked a co worker of mine and she recommended this dentist. I did my own research and decided to give it a whirl. The front office staff was great. And my hygienist was knowledgable, talked me through everything and even made a note in my chart about preferences much appreciated. Additionally, they do provide fluoride for their adult patients. This is crucial and I've been getting this ever since I've gone to the dentist. Meeting the dentist was great, she was personable and shared her advice with me about my concerns. She did not force me into any decisions and said it was my choice but she would air on the side of conservative treatment. Overall, it was a great experience and honestly I am not dreading my next appointment.

I have been taking my children to Fishers Pediatric Dentistry for 18 years. I do have one daughter that is now 28 years old and has multiple special needs that has had outstanding care along with my other two children that have been coming here. When my daughter began her care she was extremely orally defensive from many years of being on a ventilator and having a feeding tube as well as many other aggressive steps to save her life early on. One of the many things she struggled with was getting her teeth cleaned but I am so happy to report that with the dedication and patience of the staff at FPD she remains cavity free at 28 yrs old and now gets her routine cleanings and X-rays without incident. He or his staff could've mentioned this when we scheduled the appointment, but they did not. I was disappointed I'd have to make a second trip, but I was easy going about it. "Fair enough. Let's get me scheduled for a cleaning, and then we'll reschedule the procedure no problem." Then, he told me he needs to charge me for the visit when literally all he did was tell me I needed a cleaning. I politely raised the question to the staff as I was checking out. "I'm confused. Is it your policy to charge people when you did no procedure and did no cleaning? I was in the chair for approximately one minute." They explained that it was their policy. I paid the bill and left. A few days later I receive a letter from him in the mail. He asked me not to come back and he called me a liar. I was flabbergasted. I didn't agree with his practice of charging a fee for no work being done, but I was never rude to him or his staff. I will not be going back. You won't have to ask me twice. There are much better options nearby by professional, courteous dentists. Stay away from Walker!

I needed braces and unless I went with veneers that would carve my own teeth down to nubs (!!!), there wasn't much else that could be done. She was also very frank about bleaching processes. I was disappointed to hear the bad news especially after already having had braces twice in my life. She recommended an orthodontist she trusted and that was it. So why the 5 star review? Because she was nice, frank and HONEST. She didn't try to sell me things I didn't need or that wouldn't give me the results I was looking for. Awesome.
