It had never occurred to me I might one day be treated like I am drug-seeking when attempting to explain my asthmatic history and requesting antihistamines and rescue inhalers during an active respiratory flare-up. She literally VERBATIM told me "I don't care about your history" - then proceeded to diagnose me without any actual testing, and not taking into account relevant recent environmental exposures related to acute symptoms. I was advised to take an OTC that directly interacts with one of my prescriptions. She acknowledge this interaction and gave me an alternative after I pointed it out. Clearly did not take the time to read my chart, thank god I am will informed and knew of the interaction off the top of my head. She also advised me to discontinue controller medication, which would probably put me in the ER if I chose to listen to that advice given what I've been experiencing lately. I suppose I should have shown up to their office hypoxic and with a closed airway and fully inflamed lungs. Perhaps I would have been taken more seriously had I stopped all self-treatment before coming in. In addition, she interrupted me whenever I was trying to answer questions, because I attempted to give relevant context and history instead of sticking strictly to the current symptoms I had while sitting on the chair in that present moment. She even said that my history from the lobby 5 minutes ago was not relevant, only what was happening now in front of her. She constantly looked at her watch while I was speaking. Stormed out of the room before I was even able to ask questions. The bedside manner was beyond abysmal. I was gaslit about my own symptoms and experience, belittled for my history, and given advice that would directly do me harm. Literally the worst experience I've ever had. 0 stars.

But the communication is absolutely awful. They have a 3rd party out of the country answering service connected to their phone lines. So any advice nurse or communication that needs to be done with doctors is impossible. There is no online portal, only this awful phone line. So if I have a question about medication or anything I have to ask someone and have been given medical advice from someone who is in India and is doing everything they can to avoid transferring my information directly to the office.

Our one main concern was that my husband was without pain meds and food/water for an extended amount of time because they kept saying he was going for a specific MRI (for gallbladder and pancreatitis), but they never showed up until the next day. He was in serious pain, even sweating due to pain, so I was very upset by this. Alex and Brittney, on 7th floor were WONDERFUL nurses! They came quickly when he needed them and never made him feel like a burden to them.

We left and went home. I made my wife some chicken soup and slowly felt better. Today 7-2 my wife went to her Kidney Doctor. He reviewed her blood work from the ER and stated that her sodium had bottomed out and they should have gave her two bags of IV. I get it, he said / she said, but what REALLY pissed me off was Dr. Taylor's comment that he had a short attention span and give him the short version, like we were bothering him. Maybe his lack of "attention" missed the issue on the blood test?? How does someone with a short attention span become a MD in school? .......we will not go back to this location.

I was so excited to reconnect with him at Dr. Filutowski's Eye Institute. He always gives me the facts relating to my eye exam and issues I will be facing as I age. All the staff are dedicated to providing service without any rose colored glasses. This is an annual visit for me to maintain my vision without issues.

Entrance was easy with security scans like you are boarding a plane. Then registration with a very pleasant lady. Up to the 4th floor waiting area where Tatiana greeted us and got my wife set. Very shortly my wife was taken in and I had 3hrs to kill. Unfortunately the cafeteria was closed due to construction so I walked to a place to get some food and bring it back. My wife said her experience was great and the nurses were so nice and made her feel like a princess . When her surgery was done they called me, even though I was in the waiting room, and said to bring the car around they would wheel her out. A very nice volunteer wheeled my wife out and I to the car we went. When she is ready for her other eye I hope they are still using this location.
