The therapist got into her and said "she doesn't need to be a hero and should still be on a Walker!" Then he proceeded to give her two exercises to do. These were the same two exercises she was doing the day after surgery. She came home in tears and defeated. Both her physical therapist at my home and surgeon said she is doing excellent with recovery and healing well. It is so sad that this individual is still practicing and hindering healing on others.

I stayed here for my Tummy tuck and BBL recovery, which will be different than the typical stay of a patient that received the procedures separately, but my stay was great! After my surgery, they picked me up to take me to the recovery home. I was having almost a panic attack from the shock of all of the pain that I was in after surgery, but Julie was able to calm me down within seconds. She really knows what she's doing! I was immediately given a light meal and then my prescribed medication before I went to sleep. Julie, the owner, and her staff are very sweet and very mindful. She doesn't use some of recovery techniques that you might see on YouTube from people who are not professionals. She knows what works. They cook delicious healthy meals everyday for breakfast lunch and dinner. They will cook according to whatever your likes and dislikes are. They wash your compression garment/faja for you. They provide as much assistance as you need, but still allow you to have your privacy at the same time. It's very clean! At the Texas location that I stayed at, there's a shared bedroom, with a door to a private enclosed outside sitting area which is nice, a dinning, and sitting area. If you plan on going, schedule your massages, not with your surgeons office, but with Timia from Crowned Recovery. If you book in advance, Timia will go to the recovery home and massage you rather than you having to constantly get into a vehicle to go back to your surgeons office. First issue was Julia was unable to accommodate an earlier appointment due to a fender bender that morning, which I can understand. But when Mia requested to know an exact time, I should have realized by her response she may not be all she appeared to be on the phone. She was arguing and not giving an answer stressing me out even though I explained they need to know. And DUH they need to know if you're having car issues can you still get me. Eventually I had to be like MA'AM, I do not need stress so just answer! Logically Mia and myself need to know an exact time and she gave an answer so they agreed to have my surgery because they almost cancelled since my ride was having car issues. Then she shows up in a 4 door Toyota instead of a truck or SUV due to that car issue and something about not being able to get a rental. The vehicle was small of course and not clean at all despite having ample time to sanitize it. And once crammed in the car she is loudly playing music. Mind you my ear was inches from the stereo. WHOSE ASS DOES THAT We get home and she called the wrong pharmacy acting like Oh I cannot get your prescription. So bloody, high and in crazy pain I had to call and get that issue fixed. I got my meds later than I should have but..... She told me earlier that I would be her only doll so she could dote on me but that was not the case AT ALL. Again, I am in groggy, bloody, oozy pain and once she gets me in bed she just was like text me if you need anything else and if I don't answer call me???!!!! WHET-She would occasionally pop in but basically only if I asked which was a huge red flag. I remember thinking I need to get up and walk after a few hours and she never popped in to tell me to or offer assistance. When she would occasionally pop in when I would be in the restroom trying to pee and not fall and she would change my chuck pads and throw my blanket on the damn floor (more than once). That is very unsafe and unsanitary. It was her absence and lack of direction or suggestions for me that urked me but I was so outta it and in pain I didn't know what to do as far as post op care and she certainly did not stop by frequently enough to tell me to do anything. So I struggled to go number 1 and number 2 and again she didn't pop in to ask if I needed to a lot despite me asking for more and more water. Yall I was so messed up I didn't even have the strength to text her and thinking back I shouldn't have to. Nor were there any walkers or anything to help me get around I never saw her bleaching anything. The bathroom was clean the first day but I was literally oozing and she just changed pads on the bathroom floor instead of cleaning. No tub mat or handles so I felt unsafe because I was so weak and dizzy. I bathed myself, she never asked or offered. I would text her to help with faja and she helped with that. Then I'd ask for something crunchy because I was queasy and she responded "she doesn't keep those kinds of foods". Now in my mind I am thinking it aint about you, it's about us, the customers (who paid you $800 for 3 nights and 4 days) so shouldn't you keep an assortment or snacks to accommodate different dolls with varying tastes. She mentioned she is a personal trainer and dietician so she only keeps clean and healthy food and snacks so I had to settle for some loose granola. And on day 3 she told me she was thawing shrimp which I cannot eat. Didn't think to ask dolls what they want. Her meal on day 2 was delicious so she can cook but she needs to have different meal and snack options and ask what we want. Taking me to my post op late despite me being ready in time but her saying we did not need to leave yet- we did and I was late. And again music loud AF while crunched in her unclean Toyota instead of a large car. She never got a car that would comfortably transport me and I had to ask her to turn it down which she did (only slightly though yall). I was so out of it, so much so that I felt like I was in a dream until Wednesday late afternoon. And on day 3 my back was over sleeping on my tummy so I inquired about an alternate position and Julia's new staff was nice but told me she is new so I ended up showing the new girl a YouTube on alternate positions??!! So Julia walks in and explained that although she has the avocado bed and mattress they're deflated in the garage because she doesn't think they're safe. Again, offer it to us and let us decide. Or at minimum assist and suggest a different position. So then I asked about pillows positioned so I can lay on my back like Id seen on YouTube. She acted like that wouldn't work for me. On my 3rd day she asked me when I was leaving later that same day because she needs to return to Vegas and I was like ma'am I leave tomorrow. It is expected to have between 10,000 to 20,000 steps in a work day. While the chiropractor I was seeing was somewhat helpful, I wanted to find a solution that allowed me to take control of the situation rather than having to rely on coming in for treatments weekly. All those visits add up in cost. After seeing Jeff for one visit I improved noticeably during that visit with pain dropping by 60%. What was different compared to other treatments that I had before was that I was being shown exactly what I needed to do to get myself back to 100%. How fast I got well was totally in my hands.
