Ok so I have been here 3x. First time I hurt my back and the phone line (dreaded call centers) were going to send me all the way to Santa Monica a week later, (after giving them my zip code) as the closest RadNet imaging center. Someone advised they were other RadNets in this area, I call back and a different agent located five or six in Palmdale/Lancaster area, so this one was selected since it was the first available (the next day!) I actually accidentally went to the wrong site cause yes there are 2 on 15th street. SO LISTEN TO THIS! The receptionist at the wrong location actually had real customer service, she printed out the directions to correct location for me AND WAIT FOR IT...... Called the correct location to advise I was on my way and gave an estimate of arrival based on google maps!! I know right? In this newbie customer service era no one knows anything about real service! But they sure do, I was amazed haven't seen service like that since I was a teen! She then said just be patient that they'll work me in. So I go there thinking I'll be here for hours or at least an extra hour. NOPE as soon as I sat down, sneezed and opened my phone someone called my name. I was in and out within 40 mins (as I was having a MRI on back.) Bravo!! But that's not all: Next trip was Tuesday my mother who's a medi/medi insurance client was told by the call center that they don't accept it at any locations in this area, so she was set to go to Santa Clarita for a breast exam, but it just didn't sit right with me because I seen the woman's breast center when I was there, so we walked in and spoke with rep Nicky to find out about the insurance they accept. What a sweetie! She rerouted her appointment because yes they do take that insurance.. She apologized profusely because it was a bit of a wait 2 weeks from Wednesday while it was only 4-5 days longer than her original appt in Santa Clarita. Thank you Nicky. Third trip was for mom's CAT scans yesterday. She had 4 areas scanned within a hour including parking, walking in, registering, sitting down and getting her and equipment back in car! I can't see how anyone else could state they are anything but professional, caring, diligent and above all the sites themselves have great customer service !! Keep it up and drop the call centers cause they aren't in the state for sure maybe not in the country, but the call centers really aren't trained well nor do they understand the lay out of a metropolis city that Los Angeles county or So Cal consists of. read more

Came to this place from an urgent care on Monday afternoon with a STAT x-ray order. It's been almost a whole week and the urgent care hasn't received anything, this facility wouldn't even answer the "physician line", my doctor had to call as a patient and that's how they answered. When they finally answered they said the images were ready but the report wasn't. IT WAS A STAT ORDER, it should've been ready as late as Tuesday. read more

This wasted a week of my time so that dome radiologist could have his ego massaged. I went to another advanced imaging who set my appointment right away with no problem read more

An order was sent to this center marked STAT for a CT scan to rule out Cancer. The images were taken the next morning, but it has been over a week and, in spite of numerous calls from our doctor, no report has been received to indicate results. We are stressed, worried, and beyond disappointed in the inefficiency of this provider. I'm not sure which part of STAT they did not understand. read more

I was really disappointed with their service. I was supposed to have a ct scan and as I checked in at the front desk, they told me that my appointment was for another day. I know when I scheduled the appointment and what time to go in. Then, as I walked out, directly behind me came out all of the staff from the front desk and they just left! read more

I had an authorization to receive a CT Urogram today. My appointment was at 2pm, but they were lagging on CT's so I waited approximately 30min to be seen. I was out of the facility by 3:20pm. Its best to fill out the required forms online to expedite your check-in process. The technician and front desk ladies were very kind and funny. I felt very informed by the technician who walked me through every step of this unfamiliar process. I'm satisfied with the level of care I received. I would go here again. read more

Strongly suggest you create an account with password so you can take advantage of their "Patient Portal" to view your results of tests or mammograms. Radnet post "Images" almost immediately; however, "Reports" are SLOW. The Patient Portal is informative and extremely helpful but yet again, "Reports" are slow to being posted; however, most times faster than your doctor's staff notifying you of results.... read more

My experience at the center was okay. The technicians were kind, funny, and professional. The problem I had was that my scheduled time was changed twice with no notice to me. I only found out about it by looking at the online portal. After the results were posted I was told I needed to schedule a biopsy and to wait for a call. When the call came I missed it by 2 minutes. I immediately called back and went through the automated teleprompter only to be disconnected. I called no less than 30 times over the next 4 days only to have the same thing happen. When I could get through to a person, they transferred me to the same system (in spite of me explaining what keeps happening) only to have the same thing happen to them. Calling all numbers available, I was able to leave at least 5 voicemails with no call back. My insurance company called, my doctor faxed them. Same response. A biopsy means a potential life threatening diagnosis. YOU recommended it and you can't manage to answer your phone? Unacceptable. read more

Antelope Valley Outpatient Imaging Center - Women's imaging center dept - Diagnostic Imaging Near Me - Lancaster, California

I have used AVOIC many times over the past 15 years for a variety of imaging. November 2024 I had a routine chest Xray ordered by Dr. Ko. The office listed me as self care therefore did not bill my supplemental insurance but only Medicare. We have had four conversations with the office including Michael the manager. I have learned AVOIC was bought out by Radnet corporation and their billing is accomplished by Beverly Radiology. Although they acknowledge a mistake was made on their part the billing was never corrected. Michael and Stephanie promise they would take care of the discrepancy. No action was taken, therefore the bill was turned over to collections. I will notify my doctors not to refer patients to AVOIC Radnet. read more

This facility will refuse to bill you for an item you know will be less than amount owed. They even refused medical care because of that.

This facility took four and a half weeks to convey my MRI results to my orthopedist at Kaiser Permanente. I was in pain, with my doctor awaiting the results so he could prescribe my treatment. This company prolonged my pain more than a month. Everyone I spoke to who has had an MRI said their doctor received the results in a day or two and that this incomprehensible delay, for which the facility offered no explanation, was unheard of and absurd. Their leisurely approach to providing service doesn't apply to paying up. No one mentioned anything about a co-payment on the day of my appointment. Three months later, I received a statement, sent to my relatives' home in another state! It was an egregious violation of my privacy, and my family's. The bill raised worrisome questions for my relations as to why I needed medical services. I have no clue how this company got their address. My correct local address in Palmdale is readily obtainable from my Kaiser records. By the time I finally got the bill this facility was threatening to turn it over to a collections agency. Excuse me, but had you told me to expect it, sent it within a reasonable time, and mailed it to my home address rather than off into the wild blue where your idiotic billing department had no business going, you'd have had your money much sooner. Patient care at Antelope Valley Outpatient Imaging was reprehensible. Billing was incompetent. I've filed a complaint with Kaiser Member Services to question why Kaiser makes referrals to this place. Kaiser says they take such complaints seriously and it will be investigated. If you can, by all means go somewhere else. This facility does not care about patients, in my experience. read more

Then i waited for 1.5 hours after that we were told by the rude receptionist with a blond hair (hispanic speaking mature lady) said its another 2 hours wait. I lost my work hours and so did my friend who had to wait for me. How can this place be so incompetent? And she has the audacity to tell us to reschedule after drinking that horrid barium? Can you please hire more professional and respectful staff? This is outrageous!!! The Only positive thing is can say abou this place is the Tech she is positive when i had my ctscan very caring about how i feel when she poked me for the dye. She is a gem in this center. read more

I had a sonogram done. It took far too long because they had an "intern" doing it without notifying me and she was clearly not fully trained. Her supervisor said this is a "training facility," but they didn't tell anyone because no on would want to use them if they did! Then, I tried to book an appointment for an MRI and the woman I spoke with (the website is dysfunctional) asked me about 20 questions before saying she couldn't find my authorization and so needed me to photograph it via a texted link, because she couldn't cross-reference it via the Authorization Number I kept offering to give her. Then, after I had photographed the document, she said she couldn't see it because there was a problem with their system. She said she needed to look into it and would call me back in ten minutes. She did not. This is incompetence and dysfunction on a MASSIVE scale. AVOID!!! read more

This facility has taken 20 days to convey an MRI result to our oncologist and would still be sitting on that report had we not called to question the unusual delay. When we called, our inquiry was relayed to the manager who apologized (with no explanation) for the delay and said we'd have the results in an hour. Had we not called in, we'd still be waiting. If you can go elsewhere, you definitely should. No one should have to wait this long for these results. read more

I never made it to the actual office. The lady who answered the phone to schedule my appointment was rude. snapping at me because I was worried for my health and my baby. The Lady defended FPE (which is where I came from) she said they are a woman's health facility!" instead of caring about me. I told her I need an appointment for an ultrasound, she wasn't listening to me. She said "Scraping ok." me: "No I said ultrasound." she said she could do that. But I no longer felt safe with them assuming what I was going in for. I believe the imaging center is working with the FPA. to help confirm reasons for an abortion. I told them that I would be going to a different imaging center not suggested by FPA. but strangely they continue to call me every day demanding that I need to make an appointment. and then they tattled to FPA and had them call me because I had not made appointment. I will be going to a doctor that's going to take care of me and my baby. read more

This place sucks!!! I want to give them 2 stars because the tech was a nice guy but 3 1/2 hour wait!!! I finally hit my boiling point and told the front desk im leaving, Ive been here for over three hours and you just took a lady ahead of me because she complained. I asked if she could please tell me what went wrong so i can tell my doc why i walked out. She said that its shows on her screen that i was already back there doing my MRI. She called to the back and they took me right in. WTF?? The only reason i didn't bother the front desk earlier was because there was a 10 year old girl waiting there before i even got there and was throwing up in a bed pan. I feel bad for anyone who has this place as their only option. My first MRI was at Santa Clarita Imaging and it was like walking into a Massage Envy. Ill drive the 45 mins next time. read more

Got sent here from Urgent Care as STAT. They were busy which they told us about which sucks, but it's fine, we all get behind sometimes. But the estimate they gave was an hour and a half which he was already apologetic about. We didn't get in until 4 hours later! As a stat! Completely unacceptable to be that far off in your estimate. To top it off, everyone just passed the blame... front desk said techs tell them the estimates, and techs said front desk does it. read more

I had to wait more than one and one half hours to be taken to MRI area. Brian, Kevin and Jo very nice and apologetic. Always understaffed and patients not properly screened about height, weight and whether claustrophobic. This determines which machine is used and takes 2times the amount of time to do an MRi. The person ahead of me walked out without being seen, already had waited a very long time, more than 2hours. I wrote a bad review on their comment card while there and manager wanted to talk to me but could not be reached when my MRI was over. Probably went home. No one has contacted me, now 6 days, probably won't either. read more

AV Outpatient Imaging is the worst! I was told to arrive 20 minutes prior to my appointment, only to be told upon check-in that the Cat Scan is running an hour behind. I was there 2 hours for a 10 minute test. The staff is not friendly at all! Everyone sitting in the waiting area was frustrated and unhappy!
