I called on Saturday and was able to get my dog in for an appointment on Sunday. We dropped her off at 9am and received a call around 10:30. The vet suggested they take a sample of the lump but said she was fairly certain my dog had cancer. She didn't see any signs of an infection and would not prescribe antibiotics. First she said leukemia and then said lymphoma. They ran a blood tests and everything came back normal so she explained more than likely it is cancer. This cancer can show up over night and it will spread throughout her body. Dr. Elsarelli recommended that I find an oncologist. She even sent me home with a steroid that would keep my dog comfortable for her last couple of months in the event that I decided to not do chemotherapy. By Wednesday, I had not heard back about any results. I called the office and was told they would need to "look into it" and call me back. A different vet called me and told my dog has a reactive lymph node, there is no evidence of cancer. A round of antibiotics should clear it up. So for the last four days I've been worried about my dog having cancer and trying to figure out how to go about treatment. The first vet was so confident in her diagnosis. Be careful here.

The waiting room is large for spacing out pets. The pseudo exam room was such an excellent touch! It's a smaller waiting room off to the side. There aren't any exam tables in there, just a few seats and a big open floor where were able to sit down with the pets. The attendants and doctors come into the room for interactive exams but take the pets back to do any bloodwork etc. It's such a warm and welcoming alternative to traditional vet visits. They don't attempt to up charge you or mislead you in any way. They are very forthcoming and clear in their communication. All of our questions were answered comfortably and we truly trust them with our furry buddies' lives.

We easily made an appointment and my husband brought him in. The facility itself is clean, with plenty of seating to wait for your appointment. The people working here are friendly and really kind. Turns out there was nothing wrong with him, it was just something chihuahuas do when excited or nervous. After realizing that, he was given a check over and turns out he's a very healthy good boy. We had to come in again for a different issue a few months later and while the people working here were still friendly and nice, I felt that our concerns weren't really taken seriously. I will come back in again because of the first experience but I might change vets if our concerns are basically ignored again.

Then they act as though you're bothering them. My Chihuahua had some teeth pulled on 12-5-25. Ever since that day her left eye does not open all the way. They had no explanation for it. I met Dr. Loose the first summer of COVID when my Flynn was breathing/panting like crazy. LONG…read morestory short on how we found him - doesn't matter though really - he actually HELPED my senior doxie with a heart murmur and got him on the right meds that night. (Unlike several other vets in Seven Hills who told me about it, but did nothing but send us out the door!). Over the years, he's always been a great source of information and collaborative in treating both Flynn and Molly. I can't say enough about how great I think he is. Unfortunately, both Molly and Flynn crossed Rainbow Bridge within 90 days of each other. (Easeter 2025 and end of July) While Dr. Loose wasn't there when I had to make that decision both times, the lead up to Molly was a joint effort over a dew days trying to get her better. Same with Flynn. The staff were great, too, given what just happened. A week ago, I adopted Rowan, a long haired doxie with some pre-exisitng issues. Of course I called to get him in to meet with Dr. Loose! As usual, he was informative, listened, and just like with Flynn and Molly, I feel like we're a team when it comes to Rowan's health. A lot of our discussion was on a subject I have personal experience with - back issues resulting in surgery - and being able to have that discussion with Dr. Loose about Rowan from a position I related to was appreciated. In all the years Dr. Loose has treated my fur family, he's always spoken with me like an equal. It goes without saying the girls at the front desk have always been great, even when I lost Flynn and Molly last year. It was good to see them all almost a year later. I'm not sure what the dealio is with the bad review by other people, but let me tell you - if I experienced a fraction of what they're alleging, I would not give them my business nor trust Dr. Loose and his team of vets when he's not there. Have mistakes been made? Yes, but not to the detriment of my pet's health. They were quick to resolve the issue. Lastly, they get R E A L L Y crazy busy when you least expect it. Have some patience and grace. Pet parents are dealing with bad news and trying to make sense of what's happening; others are trying to check out; the phones are blowing up...it was nothing short of chaotic yesterday when Rowan and I arrived and tried to check out. You'll receive the same attention as the patient before you...just keep it in check. I've bee to many vets over the 20 years I've lived in Vegas, and Dr. Loose and Inspirada Animal Hospital are, without a doubt, the only vet and facility I've trusted completely. So much so that after moving from Seven Hills to Southern Highlands, I'm happy to make the drive.

They practice fear-free care here, so took lots of steps to make sure Huck felt safe and comfortable - including having a diffuser in the room to keep him relaxed and tons of treats to distract him from getting his shots and examination. I HIGHLY recommend this practice based on my excellent experience with Huck!

After lots of calls and referrals I was lead to Paws and Dr. Monaco. I talked to Kelsey for a while. She made me feel confident about my decision to come here and I appreciated that they have a cats only room as our guy is allergic to, and not a fan of dogs. Scheduling was easy, and I love that they sent a confirmation I was able to add to the calendar w ease. Sonya greeted us and was super kind. She asked about posting and my answer was, long as you tag him. Lol sign of the times, but then again my cat has IG so... Anyway! Jlo helped us and answered questions before Dr. M came in. She's got a calm energy, and knows her stuff! She gave us loads of helpful information and told us about the fear-free approach used, we felt we were in the right place! She recommended 6 visits and a reassess, and a referral for a nutrition supplement. For cats they recommend 3-7 mins w the needles in. Our guy responded well and didn't seem to mind, so we've been able to get the 7 mins for him. We just did session 4. He seems to be eating a bit more, but still having issues w his tail/hyperesthesia. For one of our visits Dr. M was in surgery, but Dr. Wagner was in, she's amazing and super knowledgeable as well. She's apparently a floating vet, but Lex told us they're trying to get her on staff. That'd be amazing! The office is very clean and the female staff is dope! Sonya, Kelsey and Mikayla are fabulous at the front desk, and tho Jlo is great, Lex has become our favorite tech! She goes out of her way to come see us and is incredibly gentle and sweet w our fur babe. You can tell she loves what she does, and she's just a rare find. Schedulings been easy, my only "issue" is there's 2 of us keeping tabs/track, and their system can only send emails to one. I highly recommend this place. Dr. M is super knowledgeable and has passion for what she does (she's also a vet and we appreciate her service), the staffs always amazing, it's clean, fear-free (which Lex explained as no scruffing and just meeting the animals where they're at - amazing!) we have a great team in place for our guy and not looking to replace them, but Dr. M and her staff are a great compliment to his treatment plan. It also pays to be old, as they honor senior discounts and that's appreciated.
