Advanced Liquidator is a run-down miscellaneous shop in a very old and run-down shopping center. I stopped in to give my legs a bit of a break from my brisk walk, and that's about all the visit was good for. Grocery items all seemed to be of questionable origin, freshness, and quality, and their prices didn't really seem to be any lower on most of them than what one would find at a conventional grocery store. I was amused by the "hardware" section. The tools were of laughably poor quality (far worse than Harbor Freight fare), and the prices were far too high for their (complete lack of) quality. Their apparel section has among the strangest fashions I've ever seen, and I suspect that none of them will actually ever sell. One curiosity, though, was a selection of rugs. If you're in Vancouver, and need a rug, this may be worth a visit. read more

We had breakfast next door at Lisa's Country Kitchen and spotted this place so we decided to pop in for a quick look to see what they had. They have a wide variety of surplus and out-of-season items, as their name would imply. If you are a bargain hunter you might enjoy wandering around this store for a bit. It's a liquidation store, so it doesn't look pretty, but there are definitely bargains to be found. If you are looking at the food items, be sure to check the dates because the majority of the dry goods foodstuffs I looked at were all expired. Some items were expired by well over a year. But according to the internet it is okay to sell expired food as long as it isn't marked as "use by" and beyond that date. If it's stamped as "sell by," "best before," "best by" or similar, then it can be sold after that date...it's just up to you if you want to risk it. Dry foodstuffs like cookies & crackers can last a long time, and hey, if you are pinching those pennies they'll certainly go a bit further if you can score a cheap deal this way. read more

I'm actually shocking myself by giving this place 4 stars. I do not usually care for discount stores because generally speaking the products are crappy in my opinion. My gf dragged me in today so she could find something in particular, and they actually had it! They carry tons of random stuff. The store is clean and the employees were super helpful. Other than can goods I'd steer away from the groceries, but everything else seemed perfectly acceptable. read more

Had a basketful of stuff and went to checkout and the was a group of people talking by the register a woman was not wearing a mask or even have a mask at all. I made a comment asking if there was still mask mandate in Washington younger woman said she was wearing a mask then said oh her. Someone asked what was going on and she said I was having a fit about the woman not wearing a mask. I am assuming the woman is the owner. We left the store without making our purchases. I've only shopped at Advanced Liquidators 2-3 time. The store is very run down. Their stuff isn't very good quality. The customer service is horrible. The store associate wasn't very nice. I strongly suspect the store associate might be a crook. Stay Away! read more

A fun store with a little bit of everything. Good place to get candy and snacks. They have rugs, office furniture, tools, clothes, food, skateboard stuff, gardening and always a few random finds. It's a liquidator store so you may not find exactly what you're looking for but you also may find a gem that you weren't looking for. I strongly suggest you don't buy any food here. My husband loves bargain, but even he has finally learned to stay away from this piece of crap store! Recently, my husband brought home several large candy bars. After eating several pieces we discovered worms in the chocolate! As we checked through the rest of the candy, we discovered they were all full of worms. He'd also bought nuts, only to discover the nuts were rancid. What bothers me most is that whenever my husband goes in there, he will see kids in the store, buying candy. I bet the kids eat the candy, worms & all! Stay away! read more

You just never know what you'll find here. Watch the expiration dates on the food, but it's a total crap shoot on everything else. Lot's of fun to just roam around and look for deals. Carpets and some furniture can hide good deals. Go in with no expectations and an open mind and come away with some great bargains! read more

Fantastic treasures. Crappy customer service.. i stopped in today at 5.55 i wanted one thing and knew exactly where it was. The does were all locked but one. I found the unlocked door and went in, they open sign was also still on.. the cashier screamed CLOSED!!! I said it's 5.55? She screamed CLOSED AT 6!!!!!! C L O S E D.. WOW...
