I called them for mod detection and I was satisfied with diagnosis and report. The reason I'm giving 2 starts because of the mold removal a very small pet of the ceiling. It seems that they subcontract some works. They were not clear about the scopes of the work. They came for cleaning that small part but they did not fix the ceiling after that and they left a whole and they told me that we are sorry and it happens to many people. I hope I have the right company. I had Storm (yes that is his name!) come from Advanced Mold Detection Services today. There is a big black mold spot on the ceiling of my closet and I was concerned about mold. Storm was awesome. He looked everything over, measured the humidity throughout the house and went up to the attic to check up there. He was able to tell me the material of the ceiling and what to do to clean it up. And he said that what we needed was to check with a roofer because there may be a leak in the roof. In short, he was really so honest and helpful and didn't try to sell me something we didn't need which were their services. I felt incredibly grateful for his service and if I ever have a mold problem that needs to be resolved, I would call them first. I was happy with their mold remediation services, but I would not recommend purchasing the dehumidifier they recommend and sell to customers (Hisense). After paying a few hundred dollars for the unit to replace our previous machine since it had a self pumping mechanism they recommended and our other machine did not. We then paid a plumber to install a drain specifically for the dehumidifier so it could pump and drain on its own. After only 2 months, the unit stopped pumping so we were told to call Hisense directly. We cleaned the filter per their direction and that seemed to solve the problem and it started self pumping again. A few months later it stopped again so we did the same filter cleaning to no avail this time. Called Hisense and they had us reset the machine and said if that didn't work any further service would not be covered since I did not purchase it from them directly. Unfortunately, it did not work, so we are back to emptying the bucket ourselves on a daily basis as we did with our previous machine having wasted money on a new self pumping machine and plumber costs for nothing. For the last few years, there had been an unknown source of water leakage in our basement bathroom at the floor level, and it had gradually seeped into the bottom of the walls and grown a mold. We desperately needed help with mold issues in our garage, laundry room, and bathroom. Advanced Mold Detection and Mold Remediation was able to come at a convenient time for us. Although, they were an hour late, Vance was able to do what he needed to do and explain to us what will happen next. We received a quote the very next day. Once we signed the contract, they were able to start working the very next day. It was a 2 days job. They were able to remove the affected parts and treated the mold on the 1st day and came back on the 2nd day to finish off the remediation. Beware of this company, nice at first, did not follow thru with job, harassed elderly parents, no body to answer questions, took the money and ran,,, Its amazing how their lies keep going, I read the reply from them and can not believe the lies, First and foremost, I never accepted, received or took a dime from the insurance company or anyone else. Put your money where your mouth is. You advised me you would be paid directly by the insurance company on the first day we met as I advised you that my parents will be in Florida during construction, and yes, it was their house at that time, you assured me there would be no problem from you collecting directly, you said you do it all the time, no worries. when the insurance company sent a check to Florida, where my parents went for the winter, 80 and 90 years old, of which you harassed, I was notified a week later. Your woman in the office was heard swearing at me by my employees on the work truck phone, as far as me in court, another lie, Its not my style. I am putting this out there right now, I want you to please find the proof of that, just another lie. Your man arrived to do testing after the job was complete and was not aware of where all the work was even done, his forms were completed and I said, what about the back of the house, he looked confused. Also, All of the plastic barriers your men set up were left and not removed, I believe they are responsible for that as there is dust and debris that should not be left to float around, I had to take them down myself. As far as me not around, another lie, My son was there on day one and signed the paperwork, I came within 30 minutes, and I was there every single day after that, I even had to help your guy with your junky work van that was giving him a problem. I was selling my townhouse and was told there was mold in the attic after the home inspection. The condo association uses Advanced Mold Detection and an appointment was made to check the attic. The initial appointment was to do a check but when Brian arrived he said he could clean the mold that day. He was amazing. He went above and beyond anything that I expected. He was very thorough and even looked in spots that were covered in insulation to ensure he got all the mold. When he came back to seal the attic he was just as thorough, quick and efficient. He even took the time to interact with my child and teach him about mold. When you hear that you have mold in your home it is stressful but Advanced Mold took all the stress away. When I went up in the attic to put away my Christmas decorations, I noticed ice on the ceiling nails and dark staining all over the front attic ceiling. My husband said it looked like mold. I am asthmatic, so I was very concerned about mold growth in my house. I searched online to find a mold inspection company, and I decided to call Advanced Mold Detection Services. The office was very knowledgeable and they sent out an inspector the next day. Storm noticed multiple venting problems that caused the mold growth, and recommended corrections for me to show to a roofer. I asked them to send me a quote for remediation. They sent out a quote the next day. I liked their quote and scheduled remediation. They sent out 2 mold remediators. Brian was the senior remediator. He was very nice, and he put me at ease about my attic mold problem. The job is now finished. The dark, mold-stained wood now looks like brand new wood. There are no signs of any past mold growth. I highly recommend using them for any attic mold problem. All I have to do now is remember to call the roofer in the spring to fix the ventilation issues. read more

Zero rating for the most unprofessional people I have ever encountered. The two "technicians", who are actually the owners it turns out, came into my residence with no test equipment and didn't even bother turning the lights on in most rooms. Worst yet, the were extremely insulting, laughing and rolling their eyes, and completely dismissive of my concerns with the health of my children. I had a professional company, Target Inspections, test our rental property for mold with results indicating elevated levels. The Lanlord hired Advanced Mold to confirm and offer remediation. I can only suspect they were in collusion given the utter lack of professionalism, let alone adult behavior. Regardless if if the Lanlord did or did not bias them or happen to be friends with them, NO professional (or again adult) should act as these two men did. I felt as if two thugs were being sent into my home to bully me. I hold a PhD in Industrial Organizational Psychology and manage millions of dollars of the defense budget conducting research to improve workplace behavior, including professionalism. Needless to say, I know a thing or two about it. Regardless of my expertise in such behavior, absolutely NO ONE should be treated like they treated my and the health concerns if my children. Without any testing performed, they said there was no mold concern and Therefore it was safe to have my 2yr and 7wk old in this toxic environment for 8+ hours a day. Again, utter disbelieve of their extreme disregard for the health if children. I believe their certifications should be revoked and they should be put out if business.
