If there was a way to give 10 stars, I would. My house was built in 1930, and the hardwood floors were in horrible condition. The finish in the dining room and living room had turned orange. The hardwood floors in the rest of the house were rough and dark. The stairs were hideous; there were large black crevices where the finish had worn off. My regular handy man said he wouldn't touch the job of trying to restore the floors. He said the damage to the wood was too deep. My neighbors who had their floors refinished warned me that I would need to move all the furniture out of the house, abandon my home for at least 10 days, and be prepared to clean up an enormous mess...dust everywhere. They were wrong. Eco Floor Sanding was AMAZING. First, they helped me move my furniture from one half of the house to the other side. They sanded and refinished the floors with this amazing natural product. There was no smell, and it showcased the beauty of the fine old wood. Then they helped me move the furniture again, and did the other half. When I say there was NO DUST, I mean that I didn't even have to take down the curtains or the paintings on the wall! Even the baseboards were clean. The floors are absolutely gorgeous. My whole house is transformed. And it was done in a week. I was able to stay in my home while they worked, except for the one day when the humidity was extremely high and I didn't want to walk on the newly finished steps. Also, there was a place in the living room where it appeared that the wood had been burned. They replaced three boards, and you would never know that the wood was not part of the original floor. I expected to pay an additional fee, but it was 'included' in the original estimate to restore my floors. Berj is amazing....when the owner of the business is 'there on the job', you know you are getting first class treatment. All of his workers are courteous and hardworking. You can't go wrong with Eco Floor Sanding! I wish I had taken 'before' and 'after' pictures. If you could see what they did to my house, you would not consider hiring anyone else. read more

We hired Eco Flooring after another flooring contractor did a terrible job installing our bamboo floors and then left us high and dry. Eco came in and fixed many of the issues and did a fantastic job. You would never know now how terrible the original contractor was and how bad the floors looked. Eco really saved the day for us and our sanity. They also refinished some existing wood flooring in our house and they did a wonderful job with that as well. There was absolutely no wood dust floating around the entire time they were sanding the floors and the finished job came out exactly how I wanted it. Our T.V. room and stairway look so much lighter and brighter now. Overall, Berj and his crew are true professionals who really care about their customers and the job they are doing. I am so thankful he was able to come and repair our floors himself and I felt in good hands the entire time. I did the research for you. We vetted 7 different companies . We learned that there are different definitions of "dustless" . If you truly want dustless then you need to hire a company that uses the bona atomic dustless containment system. We needed to have the floors in three bedrooms, living room, dining room and two different staircases sanded. The house was full of furniture that they easily moved around to do their job. They repaired damaged boards. They leveled botched spots form a previous sanding. Our floors were so smooth when they finished they felt like silk. The owner, Berj, made great recommendations for finishes. Every team member was professional, trustworthy, skilled, accommodating , meticulous, and perfectionistic. Our floors are gorgeous!!!! They put felt pads on all the furniture as they put it back. There was no dust and the house was perfectly clean when they left. We will hire them again to refinish our other rooms. I UNCONDITIONALLY recommend Eco Floor Sanding. This is a small company that closely supervises its jobs. They deserve more than 5 stars!! You won't be disappointed. read more

We hired Eco to redo floors in a home we purchased. The floors, while initially installed in 2001, were not in great shape. While other purveyors looked around and gave an estimate, Berj took a lot of time. He measured the space and used a meter to read the levels of moisture under our dishwasher. Based on a high reading (the dishwasher that came with the house leaked), he said we needed to wait a few months to sand and stain. We thus hired him, as he was the most thorough and professional. We loved the choice we made in using his company. He was communicative, courteous, prompt, and professional. The work he did was exceptional. When humid whether (and my request to use to different finishes) caused the work to run over by two days, he worked into the night to complete the project with enough time for it to cure before we moved back into the house. We worked with Berj to have our floors refinished in one room. From start to finish this was a fantastic experience both in customer service and quality of the craftsmanship. Berj personally came out for a free estimate, emailed a detailed cost estimate very quickly, and was very easy to schedule appointments with. He was always very easy to communicate with, responsive to email and text, professional, polite, and very punctual. The job took 2 days, back to back, with a brief visit on the third to move the furniture back into the room. Everything was done on time and the floors were finished with a satin finish and look fantastic. This is BY FAR the best company to have your hardwood installed or refinished. I would not consider even using another company. They know exactly what they are doing. Eco Floor Sanding did an INCREDIBLE job. I have done a ton of work on my house (installed central air, recessed lighting, replaced all the windows, tree removal, exterior painting, interior painting, etc.) and I have never worked with a better contractor. The owner and his team were so hardworking, professional, and super responsive. They work very quickly and with high quality. They are reliable and met every deadline they provided to me. We are thrilled with how well our floors turned out. Eco Floor Sanding had no easy task... we have a Victorian from circa 1900 with very worn heart pine floors and stairs. They carefully repaired radiator holes, patched a few places that were too worn to be restored, and also fixed a few locations with sub-floor issues found during the repair work. They also installed new heart pine in the kitchen and lined up the boards perfectly. The results are seamless and the finish is flawless! I would highly recommend choosing them for your own house. The owner and his workers did a fantastic job of clearing the old rug from the front door room up the stairwell & hall on the 2nd floor and also the dining room. he then repaired the damaged area around the old steam radiator which I had unscrewed in the dining room they helped me put it in the kitchen. I unscrewed the front door room and living room too. Both radiator areas had some damage. He used some of the reclaimed wood from the dining room and repaired both places and they looked great. the floor was sanded and had a light stain then the sealant coat. now it looks like the Basket ball court. read more
