Let me start by saying the staff was very friendly. I went there because my son was experiencing…read moreasthma symptoms and a high fever with chills. I mentioned that I brought him in because the nebulizer treatments weren't working. After being seen by the nurse practitioner he was only treated for asthma symptoms (given dup neb vs albuterol). In the past a nasal swab was taken before treatment. He was never tested. He was given an oral steroid in office and prescribed an oral steroid as well. The treatment plan was to use the nebulizer every 4 hours while home. As mention the neb treatments weren't working. Saturday the symptoms slightly improved but by Sunday night everything was back to the original symptoms. Luckily I was able to get an appointment with his PCP and turns out he had the flu. I wish the nurse practitioner would have tested him while there as it would have likely prevented a double trip. The flu is what was triggering the asthma. Also worth mentioning that the rooms and waiting room aren't the cleanest.

I value the apology and assistance they provided to enhance our experience. I am very disappointed with Darien Immediate Care. I took my son there due to a shoulder injury and he was taken in for an X-Ray. PA Erin Berman read his x-ray and misdiagnosed him having a broken collarbone and dislocated shoulder and informed us to go to the ER ASAP. When the ER doctor read these same x-rays, I was informed that only my son's collarbone was broken, but his shoulder was not dislocated. However, the ER doctor nevertheless was required to take additional x-rays at this point to confirm the diagnosis that the shoulder was not, in fact, dislocated. Therefore, my son did not need to be rushed to the ER and could've received urgent care for his collarbone with a follow up with an orthopedic doctor. As a result, in addition to what this facility billed us, we incurred additional fees and costs for the ER visit and additional x-rays, and spent additional time agonizing over the injury. Therefore, I requested to speak with the office manager regarding my billing, who promised to call me but never did. When I spoke to the billing department, they refused to transfer me to the office manager or share contact information and refused to adjust my bill in any way. While I have no issue paying for medical services, I do have an issue incurring unnecessary additional fees and costs due to the misdiagnosis. If my son was diagnosed properly in this facility, we wouldn't have had to go the ER and he would walked away with a sling, which is the recommended treatment for a broken collarbone. This is also my second negative experience with this facility. During a prior visit, we saw PA Anum Haq who diagnosed my son with an ear infection; however, PA Anum Haq then failed to timely send the required prescription to the pharmacy, which delayed my son's healing and caused him more pain. I will never go to this facility again, and will share my experience where possible so that other families do not have to incur unnecessary additional expenses when money is already tightly budgeted for most.

Having been here before, she knew my medical history and prescribed inhalers for me and ordered a nebulizer treatment. I left feeling much relieved that I had been examined and had a plan to help. Melissa, the medical assistant, was thorough with her vital checks and made sure I had my printed out summary of care when I left. Great place to go when not feeling well. He is an epitome of kindness, sweetness, care and love. We have a long story to share. Our baby was born via surrogacy and faced many health related challenges and I always thought to find the best pediatrician in IL even if I had to drive hours. My colleague referred me over to Dr. Olsen because Dr. Olsen was his twins boys's pediatrician and was very satisfied because his twins were premie and Dr. Olsen took care of them very nicely. I scheduled an appointment for my new born and I don't regret doing that. I wish I had my Gynecologist as dedicated as Dr. Olsen is. Dr. Olsen doesn't make you rush as he makes sure your all questions are answered and you are highly satisfied. My new born baby was only 28 days old when he had 103.7 fever and we had to rush to near by ER and the diagnosis were "UTI" which is very rare in new born males. ER Doctor called Dr. Olsen overnight and informed him of the situation. Dr. Olsen's Nurse Keri called us early in the morning and asked if our son was ok and if we were ok. Not only that, but Dr. Olsen kept following up and checking every day. I can swear that no one can be as sweet as Dr. Olsen. He didn't treat these lil munchkins like his patients but like his own babies. I love chatting and talking with Dr. Olsen as he has got good sense of humor and takes your stress away. God Bless Dr. Olsen for saving my son's life by referring us to number1 Urologist in IL. I give unlimited stars to Dr. Olsen and his staff. We need ore dedicated Doctors like Dr. Olsen. We've recently had a horrible experience at a new doctor and this visit was a welcomed refreshment. The front desk receptionist was friendly and helpful in processing insurance and pre-surgical forms. Although we waited more than 30 minutes past our appointment to be seen, the office was accommodating and the doctors were helpful. It is extremely important to me that my doctor has an open ear to my concerns and I felt like this office accomplished that - while not pressuring me into their own agenda. Overall, I will need to make one more visit but will be searching for a ped closer to home.

Then she proceeded to tell me she can only refer me to another facility, which didn't receive the referral at all and it was stated "we are always blamed" which should be a massive red flag. The facility referred didn't even take my insurance which is such a gross oversight. I've also heard "I never heard of that being a symptom" from another doctor which is not comforting whatsoever.
