I know she is probably the owner. She brought us to the room and 5 minutes later she went back and said the we need to move to a different room. Upon arrival and checking in via the app where I made our appointments, I didn't see us listed in the reserved appointments on their tablet. I asked the woman behind the front desk and she said "yeah, that's too bad, huh. You'll have to sign in as a walk-in. It's a three hour wait right now". When i tried to ask why we couldn't be seen during our scheduled appointment time, she cut me off and answered the phone. What I don't understand was why my appointments weren't validated, and why anyone else who hadn't made an appointment was put as priority when they were a walk in. This place is an absolute joke. The staff is rude, their management is questionable at best. Avoid this place at all costs. Oh, and as I returned to the car, I checked the website for their "live wait" time and was quoted 15 minutes. Garbage. If I could give negative stars, I would.

I'd stray away from here if you want health care who actually does the caring part. I went in…read morebecause I have ear block and sinus congestion. While I didn't wait in the lobby for too long, I spent probably 40 minutes waiting for the doctor to actually see me once I was put in a room. Fine. Long but I'm patient. But this was not worth waiting for. I get ear block semi regularly, I know my body, I am a flight attendant and the pressure changes can cause this (especially when flying congested). I have had it 3 times this calendar year alone. It can be extremely dangerous to fly with ear block as your ear drums can rupture. Well the doctor who saw me said my ears weren't too bad when she looked inside them. I can feel how stuffed up they are, the way my head wanted to explode when I was on the decent of my flight. I was never asked about other symptoms, aside the nurse asked what my pain level is and I said 8-9 (it takes a lot for me to say this). She saw my nose was congested too. The doctor recommended I take Sudafed (I have been for roughly a week now but was never asked about this) and refrain from the antibiotics for another 2 days. Well--I have to work. And my job is on an airplane; which again is extremely dangerous to be on with ear block. She said I'd be fine to work, no note, and rushed out of there. I'll have to go somewhere else now as my attendance policy is strict and I am not willing to risk permanently damaging my hearing or career. Glad I got the antibiotics I needed but I did not feel I was cared for, given adequate instructions or help for my situation.

Definitely would go back

After the first dose of antibiotics that didn't resolve my symptoms, I came back again. And same thing, a urine test but now different antibiotics. The cultures both came back negative. The THIRD time I came back I had a different provider. Unlike the last 2 visits, she felt around on my abdomen and pelvic area. She said if the urine came back the same again that she would refer me to ultrasound. I got the results today through text and my urine was normal. I NEVER HAD A UTI and took 2 different doses of antibiotics. Trace amounts of blood can just be from a change in your flora. Also, I did NOT receive a follow up or get a referral for ultrasound. Thankfully I trusted my gut and went to the ER the same day I left the urgent care and got the care I needed. I have an ovarian cyst which was found on the ultrasound and CT abd/pelvis. I will need surgery. I am very disappointed in the lack of care or follow up. I am really surprised to be honest, but now that I see the other reviews it makes sense. Definitely NOT coming back to this location again. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Took about 5 minutes total. It's annoying it that costs $135 for it to be so quick but it is what it is. After my exam, I had to wait for about 45 minutes for my physical form to be signed!!! It was busy for a little of that time, but I really don't know why it took so long. There was really no urgency whatsoever. Overall, the people seemed friendly enough and got the job done. But if you're in a rush, don't expect to be in and out quickly here.

This incident made me super upset and was turned up to look as it was my fault not miscommunication but my fault. So i come for the 15 month check up there are two shots that were left to be given so we up to date. And i am aware about it during my daughter's appointment everything seems fine we went over lots of topics where one of them was my feelings towards giving shots tonight because of the time - it was already like 7.40pm and during our appointment i mention that i would like to have shots during morning appointment because i do not feel confident/comfortable that it will be at night while she will go to sleep and i cant watch her to see if she is okay. Appointment was done i dressed my daughter back to her clothes i put her jacket on and i am opening the door and i see nurse standing in front of me saying ready for shots. I am surprised because i thought we spoke about this and i nicely tell nurse that yes we will come back for those during sometime in the morning hours. She runs to the doctor. Doctor comes in and tells me this; there is lots of misleading information about shots on internet and if you refuse to give shots today you should find another doctor. I am standing there in shock i said doctor what are you talking about? I am not refusing shots and i believe we spoke about this in our appointment? I told you that i do not feel comfortable to do it at night and believed we were on the same page... the. Doctor said this: if you not giving shots this is big waste of money. And that shots cant be used for anyone else. And i either do it tonight or i have to find new provider. I took my child and i said i wont do it at night. Next day i called to talk to manager and she said same thing it was wasted and etc. and that i also refused shots before which by the way not true. Once i came for shots and they told Me they dont have it at the moment so they will Call me when they do. And they saying this is why we are behind our shots. But they forgot that there was/is corona where everything slowed down and plus i never refused any shots why i would refuse if i did start Shots since my baby was born. Only one shot i asked why i should give was hepatitas A because this one only required at some colleges? I asked ... and i said so maybe she can do it if she will choose to do it when she grows up. So here i am Looking for new provider and its totally fine but be aware of this place and you decide whose fault it was! This is coming from a mother who is not against shots and was kicked off for refusing shots because doctor said as HE UNDERSTOOD i only didnt want to take mmr shot at night. As he understood... he told nurse to get shots ready and it became my fault...this happened at Bolingbrook location. So here is my story choose wisely;)

While under his care, my spouse developed a terrible case of hemorrhoids that were incredibly painful. Dr. Malicay gave him a tube of ointment and told him to finish that and then come back. For three days my husband suffered before he gave up and begged me to take him to the Emergency room. The ER doctor called in a surgeon by the name of Dr. Goliath (yes, that was his real name) who said in the 15 years he'd been doing hemorrhoid surgery, he'd never seen a case as bad as my husband's. He had hemorrhoids internally and externally and when the doctor showed me, it looked like my husband had grown a second set of testicles. He also stated that he didn't know what our doctor was thinking giving my spouse a topical ointment to treat something this severe. He was taken up to surgery that evening and the hemorrhoids were surgically removed. Tricare had to call Dr. Malicay to get his approval for the surgery. He was so angry and his pride was so stung that he REFUSED to give his approval for the procedure. He knew that if he didn't approve it, Tricare would make us pay for the surgery. So to get even for taking matters into our own hands, we got stuck paying a bill for several thousand dollars. He also isn't really interested in what the patient has to say when being examined-he wants to tell YOU what is or isn't wrong with you. He has a real Napoleon complex. I was so glad when our regular doctor re- signed up for Tricare! She is a superior doctor to this man-someone I wouldn't send a dog I didn't care much for to. If you're network gives you the choice, choose some other doctor.

I was completely astonished by the service we received at Dr. Osafo's office; his front office staff was polite and personable, the waiting area was clean and kept, the staff was kind, knowledgeable, and patient (I have a terrible fear of doctors and they were able to keep me calm), their phlebotomist was nice and professional, and Dr. Osafo was awesome. I explained to him all of my ailments and he addressed each of them without making me feel like an incompetent hypochondriac patient. His referrals were spot on, allowing me to see a vascular surgeon for a vein issue that occurred during my pregnancy, and even a podiatrist who sent me in for orthopedic inserts for my low, achy arches. We'll continue seeing Dr. Osafo. We've been urging our family and friends (who are dissatisfied with their doctors) to go to him as well. The only thing I wish was different is that Dr. Osafo could be a bit more proactive in scheduling patients with other doctors (referrals) so that they could begin figuring out what is wrong with my husband's arm. It seems as though he might have MS or a pinched nerve or something, and the referral is going to take almost two months. Other than that, absolutely NO complaints!!! Awesome doctor! Awesome staff!
