The first doctor told me he couldn't schedule me because he was leaving the practice and the new doctor messaged me at 3pm for an 8am appointment the following day as the only opening, then told me I was going to be put on same day scheduling basically as a punishment because I told him I could not make that time. I unfortunately have 3 children who have to be driven to school. He was extremely rude and disrespectful and I never even met him. Only spoke to him via text because no one answered the phone at this location, customer service told me to schedule through the doctor, and the doctor told me to go through customer service. Very unorganized and unprofessional.

She didn't explain what the treatment will be and just led me to the treatment room. Previous acupuncture places I've been to provided gowns and told me to remove any jewelry. I get that with covid we should avoid gowns, which is totally understandable. But I wish she gave me directions before putting the needles on me. As we started treatment, the first needle hurt. I told her and she requested I wait a little bit. Previously when this happens, the acupuncturist took it out immediately. After some time it still hurt so she twisted the needle. It still hurt after that and she finally replaced the needle. During the halfway check, she opened the door and just asked how it was going. In my previous experiences, the acupuncturist comes and checks each needle and twists them to reactivate them. I wish Lindsay had done this because at the end of the treatment, she said one of the needles fell! I've never had this happen to me before. I could also hear the other patient through the wall, which made it difficult to relax. Overall, I would not recommend this location given that I'm more tense than when I first walked into the door.

During my consultation, Dr. Jon Eberle focused on my kyphosis and recommended a 36-visit corrective care plan along with wearing a kyphosis brace for two years. I was provided with a written care plan outlining the services and costs. Based on that document, I agreed to treatment and prepaid $1,226 toward the plan. After beginning treatment, I received chiropractic adjustments, was instructed to use a Thoracic Denneroll, and was taught a very simple breathing/postural exercise that I was told to perform throughout the day at home. When I later discontinued treatment after receiving a second opinion from a spine surgeon, I discovered that I had been billed an additional $42.50 at each visit for the breathing exercise and separately billed for "traction," which turned out to be supervised use of the same Denneroll I was already instructed to use at home. Those charges were not something I understood from the written care plan, and I was surprised to learn about them only after my insurance was billed and my refund was calculated. When I questioned the charges, I was told they had been explained to me beforehand. That was not my recollection. My husband was present during the consultation, and we remember reviewing the care plan and discussing the brace, but not that these additional billable services would be charged each visit. My concern is not about chiropractic care itself. It is about transparency. I believe patients should clearly understand exactly what they are paying for before committing to an expensive prepaid treatment plan. I encourage anyone considering treatment here to ask for a detailed explanation of every service that will be billed at each visit and how those charges could affect any refund if treatment is discontinued. Overall, I was disappointed by what I felt was a lack of clear financial disclosure.

I had exhausted all options including chiropractic, injections, acupuncture and other physical therapy. Luck would have it that I was able to find him again and I'm so glad I did. Together Gene and his wife Tonya bring a broad depth and many years of knowledge and experience to their practice. They listen to my concerns and are compassionate in their care. They understand the body's interconnectedness, especially how pain in one area may be a signal that something is off in another area. After what just happened, she will now be finding a new provider as well. My daughter was seen for what ended up being a very brief appointment--no more than 10 minutes--and we were charged $300 for the visit. We are currently self-pay because we are in between health insurance plans, so costs matter even more right now. To make matters worse, they performed a pregnancy test during this appointment even though she had just been there the week before for the exact same test along with her Depo shot. There was no explanation given for why it needed to be repeated. It feels completely unnecessary and excessive to duplicate testing like that--especially for self-pay patients. There is no way an insurance company would have paid this much for the same visit, which makes the charge feel even more unreasonable. I also attempted to call the office to discuss this concern, but had to leave a message because there was no one available to speak with. No one has returned my call, which only adds to the frustration and lack of communication. This experience came across as more profit-driven than patient-focused care. We expected transparency, fair billing, and better communication. Instead, we left feeling taken advantage of. Based on repeated experiences, we will not be returning.

I was all set to write a great review based on my therapy appointments. Then I found out today…read morethat they charged me a copay at every visit when my actual copay should have been $0. I called today to see about getting a refund and was told that they had not been paid by my insurance, and it would take 14 business days (3 weeks) to "research" the issue and then another 30-45 days to "resolve" the issue. I visited ATI in February and March, and it is now July. The representative I spoke to said they couldn't see my EOBs showing that i had $0 copay even though I can see them clearly on my end. The representative would not stop talking over me, and then effectively hung up on my by saying he did not want to take up any more of my "valuable time" before saying goodbye and disconnecting the call. So they have held my money hostage for 3-4 months and they are saying they can't release my refund for another 60 days at least. That's just wrong.
