Gentle treatment. Courteous competent service. They treat you well even in difficult situations.

This location tends to be problematic and with a status of not so nice clientele. I came here as it had the 1st available slot for the service I needed. It doeant smell fresh and clean. It seems to always reap of stale urine or of a nursing home that is not clean. There are plentu of parking spaces but not available near the door if diability spots were needed. As I was walking towards the front dooe there was a lady outside on the phone, I really didnt pay her much attention as I did a Security officer. I walked inside, signed in and had a seat. Well this day was not the day I needed to be here. The lady outside on the phone is now inside and arguing with another family member. The other family is now calling to ger others to come to the location all while the other is cursing and speaking of "draggging" and "knocking" all out. The Security nor the staff intervened until the family member that spoke of assaulting the others called him over. The security guard asked them to stop but other patrons like myself had to be subjected to the vulgar and perhaps fear of the unknown. I was called to the back. Had my service done and out. Very bad experiences every time I go there I try to avoid going to that location whenever possible. staff very unprofessional. Not very clean. One time I needed to use bathroom and staff member handed me a flashlight as I entered the bathroom no lights. They don't explain what they are doing to you before they start doing It. If you ask questions they appear to take it as an affront to their ability to do whatever it is they are doing to you. They act as if they are providing a free service to you the customer. If I could I would give them a rating of zero I Would. read more

Making an appointment by phone (which is my first experience with their overseas operators ) is really quite awful. First, I was told I couldn't make an appointment. Second, someone lost the connection after I spent much time getting to that point in conversation Third, the appointment took a very long time to set up (still didn't hear everything) with loud background conversations. I came in for a mammogram knowing full well I was in for a painful experience. The person who did my mammogram actually said to me when I experienced severe pain while the machine crushed my breast " it's not even there yet'. How kind of here to make light of my discomfort instead of any kind of reassurance. My suggestion would be to hire technicians with big breasts who know what it feels like..not people who express indifference in someone's vulnerable moment. read more

I had an appointment for a mammogram and ultrasound that I had scheduled after my doctor found a lump in my breast. 3 hours before my appointment, I received a call telling me that their system was down and they had to cancel my appointment. Then they told me I had to call the call center and schedule a new appointment, not giving me any priority for the next appointment after I had already waited a month. I had to essentially start from scratch and be the last in line for the next appointment. Horrible customer service. read more

On March 11, 2025, I was having an MRI at the Owing Mills location. Initially, I was told that a hair pin was still in my hair. My hair was braided upward. As an African-American female , I did not feel that a white male tech should then start digging HIS HANDS through my hair. I told him that I would get it. The white female tech never tried to get the hair pin, even though she was the one who said she saw it. Later, halfway through the process ,because I have sinus problems, I felt like I could not breath. I pressed the ball several times. They continued to run the scan. Finally, I started to yell " Help Me". I will NEVER RETURN TO THE OWINGS MILLS location of Avdvanced Radiology for a MRI. read more

They're not professional nor should they work in healthcare, Had 3 orders from the surgeon the surgeon sent electronically with specific stat instructions, it took 7 appointments to redo the MRIs and cat scans because they were incorrectly done and not at all what the doctor said he needed, each time costing me 20% out of pocket for their incompetent service, from the reception to the technician, they were more concerned about collecting the copay amount before service than they're about the patient they were given the ability to care for, I had the 8th appointment scheduled but decided to go to a more professional establishment that cared for the patient they were given the opportunity to serve, the new facility I scheduled with was completely different throughout the entire process,they were wonderful,kind,caring and treated you with respect and professionalism as well as completing the required scans as directed, I will definitely be making future appointments with them,vi think whole heartedly that advanced radiology has lost the competency and professional staff they once were and I don't believe they can redeem themselves after the fact that they are trained to manipulate and sabotage their patients for profit and that's sad, advanced radiology staffing from customer support service to the establishment you use for your scans or extracts that play an important role in a patients healthcare is non existent in American radiology staffing, they're more concerned about upsetting and arguing with patients intentionally like they live for treating their patients like that, is disgusting and concerning, I've never seen so much distain from a healthcare establishment towards the patient they're allowed the privilege to serve. If you want to be treated humanely advanced radiology is not the place to place the responsibility of your health evaluation in your quest for a diagnosis finding that you would need when your life or future depends on correct information and humanity for the situation you are facing. read more

After arriving eight minutes prior to my appointment time which I had already rescheduled two days prior due to them not having the digital order from the doctor which they are never able to find, I was informed that I won't be able to be seen for my 7:00 appointment because I wasn't there thirty minutes ahead of time. I had spent that time filling out their paperwork and uploading the referral, my identification cards and my insurance cards for them to their website. Therefore, there was no real reason for me to not be seen. I feel discriminated against. I will never use this company again. She was nonchalant at best to me the entire time. She obviously took pleasure in making things difficult for me. I don't understand a healthcare professional who's neither interested in others health, nor in remaining professional. read more

They asked me if I wanted an additional service when getting my mammogram stating it is enhanced breast cancer detection for $40.00 out of pocket. I told them sure, if it's something extra to determine if I have cancer. Upon arrival they tell me all it is that AI goes over the films along with the person they have look at the images. When signing into my Advanced online portal it WILL NOT give me the results. Says I have to check with my referring physician. First off, he did not refer me for this additional service, you did! Secondly this is a service I paid for, why can't I see my results for something I paid out of pocket!!!??? Rip off is what this is. Another way to soak money from you. Thought everyone should be aware of these shenanigans. I will NEVER pay again for a service and not be able to see the results! read more

I've been going to Advanced Radiology Pomona Square location for over 25 years. Making an appointment is very easy and I love that I can arrive as early as 6:30 AM. The staff is extremely efficient in getting you in and out. The radiologists are very knowledgeable and experienced and have been there for years. read more

Would have been higher rating except for receptionist- no eye contact- no pleasantries considering she was first person to be seen upon entering. Also she would call out directions to clients but wouldn't get up to help those who were clearly confused about where she was directing them. I had a mammogram scheduled for weeks. I also had some Xrays I needed so I took off of work to get all of it done at once. So my appointment was all confirmed uploaded my health insurance stuff, etc and ready to go. Friday morning (my appt was 10:30 that day) at 8am I get an email about "rescheduling my appointment". That was news to me as I had gotten an email the day earlier reminding me of my check in time. No explanation or nothing just "Hey click here for that appointment you need to reschedule." So one day taken off of work FOR NOTHING. I asked if I could still get the Xrays done but got some sketchy response that the Lutherville location will be open til NOON and they could not tell me anything else. I finally after being on hold 10 minutes learned "their equipment was down". What kind of low budget quack company is this to not maintain their equipment? So if they defer maintenance on their stuff and it goes belly up on the day of YOUR appointment you are out of luck. These people are out of touch with real people. They act like it is no big deal to reschedule but now I have to wait weeks and this is going to throw me off my mammo schedule now as anyone knows you have to wait a year and a day for the next one and now I am going to be stuck going in winter which I hate. I should have known better - one time I had a pelvic ultrasound, chugged the 32oz of water as instructed only to get there and learn most of their staff called out so I would have to sit there peeing in their waiting room chair for 90 minutes after my initial appt time which was cruel. No one warned me they were running that late. Horrible organization but they are the monopoly. I am going to call the State's Attorney's office to ask why this monopoly is allowed to operate giving consumers few other choices. They probably by their imagine equipment used from Myamar...to save a couple of bucks. Hence it being "down" so much. Made the appt. with their central appt.s over the phone with no problems. I received confirmation emails, no problems. Showed up half hour early for appt. and was amazed how nice, polite and helpful the staff was. I told them I was "Hearing Impaired" and they went above and beyond to ensure I understood everything that was going to happen. I can only say that I am more than just pleased with the service I received. My wife, who was allowed to wait in the waiting room, told me later that everyone that came in was treated with the same respect and politeness as I was. Called to make an appointment weeks ago, read the orders from my doctor verbatim over the phone. They assigned me the wrong prep drink and I didn't find out until 5 minutes before my appointment and after I had taken all of the drink. The tech who helped me was very nice, called my doctor to confirm the orders, and told me what I should do to get the prep drink out of my system. That is the only saving grace. My parting gift? An upset stomach and ANOTHER appointment for next week. read more

I had to do a walk-in coming straight from the doctor's office with my granddaughter. The waiting room was full. Told there would be a 30 minute wait. Down fall these type places has the magazines and T.Vs which is great for an adult. How do you entertain a 4 year old and not disturb the others who are also waiting? You try playing word games but then then the laughing is too loud that others try to give you that look. I can stare down the best of them. But thankful we were called to the back in less than 15 minutes. The staff must be working on auto pilot. The instructions are giving in rapid fire. Change clothes here, put gown on, meet in room at end, and when done gown goes there in blue bag. My granddaughter said what did she say grandma? Can she repeat that? I let her know I heard everything and it's time to change. When it was time to walk in X-ray room my granddaughter was a little nervous. The tech took over and made it fun for her. She was able to follow al the tech's instructions with ease. Seem like we where in and out. It was not long before her doctor called with results. read more

Visited the Pikesville location Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 12:15pm for an annual mammogram. Was greeted by young lady at a desk in front of reception area and told to sign-in. About maybe 7 minutes later she called my name to go thru door at reception area. Spoke with Tyshiea confirming my information. She was very professional. She directed me to go to back to have my procedure done. Was greeted with another young lady who told me to change clothes. Didn't get her name but again she was very professional. I then sat down to wait to be called to back room to have mammogram done by Ms. Sandy. She was very professional, knowledgeable and comforting. Was out about 12:45pm.
