Unfortunately I had a back injury and had to come in for an x ray. I actually came the day prior at 4:30 pm but I found out the hard way that they only do them from 8:30 am to 3 pm. That's on me for not checking. So I came back the next morning when they opened. They do the x rays on a walk in basis. I was 4th in line. Check in process was easy. After a 20 or so minute wait I was called to the back. Went in a little changing area to put on my gown. They have temporary combination locks. It was nice they had the XL size gowns. Since I am on the taller side usually placed don't have any long enough for me. I was able to cover all of my bits. Whole x ray process only took a few minutes. Everyone thy I spoke to were nice and pleasant. Overall a good experience. read more

The staff is so rude and they act like they don't want to work there. Absolutely no help at all. Please avoid this location if you can.

It's aggravating when you get to your appointment ON TIME and someone comes in after you and that person is taken before you. The location I went to only does MRI's, so I know it wasn't going to be a quick x-ray. This happened to me twice in one week. I had to have 3 MRI's, and they had to be split up. It's just very frustrating. My experience is of mixed feelings. The girls in the office were nice but the order in which patients are taken back needs work. read more

Called for a CT scan. Call was answered in India. I couldn't understand a word the man saying. Transferred me to someone who spoke intelligibility English. I learned that not only would my personal health info be stored in India but the radiologist reading my scan would also be in India. And no, I will never be able to talk to any employee over the phone at any Advanced Radiology facility, including the radiologist who is likely sitting at home reading scans in his Pjs (when his wife isn't badgering him). Private Equity firms outsourcing healthcare is a terrible idea and NONE of us should tolerate this behavior. I have a responsibility to insure that people in my community have good jobs. Lifting India out of poverty is not my responsibility. Since Advanced Radiology has absorbed EVERY radiology center in a 30 mile radius and I don't drive, my gastroenterologist will have to diagnose me old school through blood work and physical exam. read more

I have been on the phone for well over an hour attempting to get the answer to a simple question. I keep hearing that patient care is their first priority, but I have been transferred five times with extended hold periods in between, I have received misinformation twice. I was told by a supervisor that a creatinine level of 1.02 was high--in fact it is in the middle of the normal range. I am still on hold, still waiting for the answer to a very simple question. Nataya McCoy was completely disrespectful at my appointment today. I came in, signed in at the front desk as I was asked and then sat down. No one called me to the stations. My appointment time was within 10 minutes of my arrival. Finally I stood up walked to a station (I wish I chose another station) and asked if I could know if I can be seen soon because I had a full bladder per my doctors request. This lady Nataya asked for my information, and afterwards she said she could not see that my doctors office called over/sent over the reason for my visit. I doubted that was the case as this was an emergency appointment in which the doctors secretary called me to confirm it was sent over yesterday. So I called the office and spoke to someone who verified they sent over my paperwork and they gave me the specific time the copy showed it was sent. The lady Nataya was dry condescending and nonchalant. I was over it and the disrespect from this young woman who obviously shouldn't be working in a customer service field let alone be in the health related field where customer service is required the most. read more

Go somewhere else for imaging, this place is HIGHLY disorganized!! I got a phone call from Advanced Imaging at 4:24pm EST the day before I had an 8:30am MRI appointment at this location asking for more information about a Wallstent that I had placed years ago in Illinois. I had informed Advanced Radiology verbally at the time of making the appointment and in writing on April 12 and April 29 about the stent, yet they waited until the last minute (May 2) to request info that would take me a few days to get from a hospital. I gave them all 37 pages of the medical notes that I have, and highlighted the areas that showed when I had MRIs after the stent was placed, but unfortunately the notes do not mention the brand of the stent. I was never given a stent card or I'd have given them that information as well. I've had at least two MRIs in other states since its installment with no issues and no interrogation from the imaging facilities about this Wallstent. A quick Google search of the FDA website about it says that settings of 3.0 Tesla or less are safe to use with Wallstents. I was offered the option of making another appointment at a different facility that would have MR machine that would use a lower Tesla setting, but I am unable to rearrange my schedule for at least a month and why should I, when this office didn't do their due diligence in reading the information I gave them and contacting me in a timely manner instead of waiting until the last minute? What about this experience makes me think that they wouldn't mess up a second appointment somehow? Additionally, I was given prescription premedication of prednisone and Benadryl to take before this MRI because I stated that I'm allergic to gadolinium. They took my word on that, and gave me prescription medications for it, yet they won't take my word about the type of stent that I have even though I show up on time fully prepared with all the information they ask for minus the brand of the stent. If Advanced Radiology had asked for the brand of stent days ago when I sent in my medical history, this wouldn't have been an issue. To make things even worse, the office manager Alex K was smug and condescending about this entire fiasco, trying to make me think they were doing their due diligence because he called me at 3:15pm on May 2 (the afternoon before my appointment). Whether it was 3:15pm or 4:24pm, that is less than 24 hours notice to obtain medical information that requires faxes and signatures from hospitals in two different states and two different time zones. All of this is completely unprofessional and shameful of Advanced Radioogy and since there are many imaging facility options out there with more convenient hours, I'm choosing somewhere else and you may want to as well! Update: I made an appointment with a Hopkins imaging facility and it was immediately a much better experience. The person who took my call asked a lot more questions and let me know what information they needed in advance for my stent, which is not what Advanced Imaging did (and at every step of the way I even volunteered additional information to AI that they did nothing with until it was too late). As a healthcare provider of 30 years myself, I know that disorganization at the administrative level infers disorganization/incompetence on the clinical level and certainly shows a lack of care at the upper management level. There's no incentive for management to change or improve problems within the organization or within themselves if they keep getting patients and profits anyway. I do hope this office improves after today's fiasco for other patients' sake, but fool me once shame on you, and you won't get a second chance to fool me again when there are other businesses who do the same thing better to take my time, money, and trust to. read more

Five Stars Ain't Enough! There's a lot to say about an establishment that is running 60 minutes behind upon timely arrival and STILL manages to knock my socks off w some of the best treatment ever received! The waiting room, work counter and back area was clear of clutter and nicely decorated. The lobby had a nice temperature and was customer friendly w the decor and TV entertainment. I took my youngest there per recommendation from pediatric neurologist and they treated my little prince like royalty. We were immediately greeted by Zakiea as soon as we entered. She was very professional, friendly and made this nervous process comfortable. Our wait ended up being shorter than an hour. We were taken back and greeted by Laurie (Radiology Technician). She did a fantastic job explaining the upcoming procedures to my son and I. It was honestly overwhelming for me but she made this experience much smoother for all. The contrast and non contrast MRI took at least a 1/2 hour and I could hear Laurie coaching my son through it all. She was so professional, child friendly, knowledgeable about her craft and very apologetic about the wait. Before I knew it, the procedure was completed and my son left out without worry. With the exceptional customer service received by Zakiea and Laurie, I would have waited 3 hours for the fantastic thorough and skilled services provided! I definitely recommend this location to everyone in need of any radiology service! read more

Very friendly, personable and sincere customer service. My appointment was for 8:30 am and I arrived around 8:15 to fill out necessary paperwork. I was called to be seen by Anna by 8:40 and was out of the exam room by 9:05. Anna was very knowledgeable, friendly and answered all the questions I had. Never have had a problem here! I always make an appointment and come at least 10 min early. My appointment today was at 8:15AM. I arrived at 8:05 on the dot and was walking out at 9:10. They always listen to your concerns!! I have really hard veins and they are pros at making those veins pop as long as you tell them. MRI's are never really pleasurable but the staff here at Advanced makes it easier to tolerate! read more

Not too happy with this place. Made an appointment and wasn't seen until 45 minutes after my appointment time. The technician was very cold and not personable. Very disappointed. However, the front desk was super nice and super professional! If I based my review on the front desk alone it would've easily been 5 stars, but the technician made my visit miserable, perhaps she was having a bad day, but it really impacted me in a negative way. Came in for an ultrasound the heavy set african american woman at the front desk got smart. The other front desk staff were very polite and helpful, I was taken back pretty fast and was told my bladder wasnt full enough, to drink more water snd I would get seen in 20 mins. I waited for almost an hour for someone to come back for me and they never did so I went to the bathroom, and asked to reschedule where I was confronted with the same woman being smart yet again because she clearly didn't know what she was doing, asking other employees for help every 2 seconds. You shouldn't be in this line of work if you don't want to deal with customers. After that I just walked out. I will never be coming back to this location. read more
