I was able to get a 4:00 appointment for an MRI of my back. The building is. New and beautiful and the check in was a breeze. The young lady who took me into the back was kind and got me a gown for the test. She also helped me onto MRI machine and made sure I was comfortable along with the technician performing the test. They put pillows under my head and a foam round thing under my legs. The test took exactly 12 minutes and I couldn't believe it! I recommend this location compared to the one on the Cape that is usually crazy! My results came through today, only two days after having the test. Hopefully I will hear from my doc and get back on my feet as soon as possible! Thank you for your kindness and caring. I really feel much better about having MRI's.

The MRI technician who assisted me was especially kind, patient, and understanding. I experienced significant discomfort and anxiety during the visit, and she remained calm, supportive, and respectful throughout the process. She made sure I was positioned as comfortably as possible and treated me with genuine care and compassion. I also appreciated that my husband was allowed to be present before and after the scan, which helped me feel supported. However, my experience with billing and scheduling prior to the appointment was extremely frustrating. I was originally told the MRI would cost $258 and that I could pay at the appointment. Then the day before, I was told I had only a couple of hours to pay in full or my appointment would be canceled. During that time, I made over 20 calls trying to pay, and my husband also attempted multiple times. We were repeatedly routed to lines that were closed or disconnected despite posted business hours. When I finally reached someone, I was transferred back to the same non-working line. Another billing representative refused to assist, refused to transfer me to a supervisor, and disconnected the call. There was also confusion in pricing ($531 vs $516), and I was only then told the original $258 quote was per MRI, not the total. I ultimately paid $516 under pressure just to avoid cancellation. While the medical staff provided excellent care, the billing and communication process was disorganized, inconsistent, and unnecessarily stressful. I strongly recommend confirming all pricing and payment expectations in writing ahead of time.

The MRI technicians were amazing, made me feel calm and comfortable. After the MRI I accidently left a pendant in the change room and Dena Brill found it and saved it for me. This office got me locked out of iPledge by dragging their feet on labs then made me wait 30 days just to restart. After that? They rescheduled my next appointment an hour before it was supposed to happen and pushed me out another 25 days. That delay could've gotten me locked out again. No urgency. No accountability. Worse, they refused to send a proper prior auth for hospital-based labs, even after I gave them everything they needed. I begged for help for weeks. Staff were rude, dismissive, and downright discriminatory once I pushed back. Then they had the nerve to charge me a $50 no-show fee even though I'm a Medicaid patient (and no, you can't legally do that). I filed formal complaints with the Florida Department of Health and Medicaid. This place treats low-income patients like garbage. Advanced Dermatology should be ashamed of how this location is run.
