I had a very uncomfortable, disappointing experience at the 805 Del Prado, Cape Coral location. Their sign-in systems were down, which I understand can happen, so I patiently stood in the designated waiting area waiting to be helped. What upset me most was not the delay -- it was the unprofessional behavior afterward. After I spoke to an employee, I could overhear comments being repeated and mocked to coworkers nearby. No patient should feel laughed at or talked about while simply trying to check in for a medical appointment. It was embarrassing, uncomfortable, and completely inappropriate in a healthcare setting. Technical problems are understandable. Treating patients with disrespect is not. I hope management seriously addresses professionalism and patient treatment at this location. read more

What could improve? Well the way they receive patients could change. I walked in no clipboard to sign in was available. Everyone receptionist behind the desk which consisted of at least 4 hispanic women, and one white woman were not busy, and did not bother to help me. A white family walked in and the white receptionist asked them can I help you, but had no time for me. That is called discrimination and it is against the law! They are hired to help anybody regardless of race or creed! This people need to be terminated for being racist! I would not go there if I was you! I went in for a CT scan and the process was very smooth. I was initially concerned as the parking lot was full and it was standing room only inside but I was in and out and back to work within an hour. Staff that day were friendly and professional. This was a treat as I could not say the same about past visits. read more

I called to schedule an appointment, had to press 1 for English! Then I get a woman who has such a bad accent I could barely understand anything she said! I had previously driven to the Del Prado location and they scanned in doctor's orders into their system. This person couldn't find the order and when I told her I had brought them to the Del Prado location in person she tells me she is not located at that office! So damn frustrating and now I'm furious with my insurance for not being able to renew their contract with Surfside. read more

Very professional & informative. I was impressed with the care & handling of my breast biopsy.

I`ve had my annual lung cancer CT screenings done here since moving to the area. This year my PCP also scheduled me for a prostate MRI due to elevated PSA. Surprisingly RR scheduled to have both done on the same visit without me requesting it. I completed all forms & checked in the day before via their portal which is attached to the email they send so I was all set. Yesterday, I arrived 30 minutes early, checked in via kiosk and sat down. Minutes later my name was called and my procedures began (20 minutes or so before my appointment time). Things went smoothly, all the ladies were great and I was out of there. Now just awaiting my results which will come in a few days to my Dr. and a courtesy copy to me via email. read more

The incompetence at this facility is absolutely astounding. I have no idea how they are still in business and have not been sued for medical malpractice/negligence. At this point, I keep thinking, this has got to be a joke. On 8/27/2025 I called to schedule STAT MRI's ordered by my provider. I was told by the scheduling department that the tests could not be completed together and would need to be scheduled on different days. Appointments given for 9/9 and 9/10. Questioned stat order and delay in test. I was told the provider needed to call because they don't honor stat orders unless the provider calls. 8/28/2025 - My provider called and scheduled stat orders for 9/2 and 9/10. The provider was quoted $140 for test. The provider was told that I needed to be self pay due to insurance authorization. 8/29/2025 - received text message after hours, quoting almost $600 that needs to be paid up front for the appointment. 9/2/2025 - called to confirm discrepancy in quote. Asked to speak to a manager. Told I needed to reschedule or pay self pay price. 9/8/2025 - received voicemail and text cancelling appointment. Left a message for authorization department - no return call. Called insurance company, no authorizations submitted on my behalf. 9/10/2025 - left a message with authorization department - no return call. Spoke with Tine after requesting to speak to a manager/supervisor - told to show up to appointment no matter what that it would be done. Said she was submitting all authorizations immediately. Received call around 2p, stating that my appointment needed to be rescheduled due to authorization. Informed representative that I spoke with Tine who said to show up no matter what. Representative said he would check with his boss (Tine) and call me back. No return call received. Showed up to appointment at 4:10p. Waited 20-25 minutes before being called to check in. Informed by front desk associate that I couldn't have test done unless I wanted to pay out of pocket. Asked for manager. Kyle, manager came up. Said I could not have tests because he could see notes, but couldn't confirm with Tine because she had left for the day. Kyle questioned MRI tech if all tests could be completed at once. MRI tech confirmed that all 3 tests should be done together, despite what other schedulers said about needing to separate. Sent home and Kyle said he would handle it and give me a call. 9/11/2025 - automatic text received stating appointment made for 9/23 at a different office. Called Kyle to confirm. Said it was the only appointment available. 9/19/2025 - received text and email stating appointment was cancelled due to prior authorization. Called Kyle - no answer, no return call. Spoke with Reicky who said authorizations still pending - that appointment was not cancelled. Gave case numbers to contact insurance with. 9/22/2025 - Insurance stated authorizations were are still pending because they were submitted as routine orders, not stat. Need peer to peer review with primary, but no one has contacted me or primary's office. 9/23/25 - Insurance needs clinical notes. Notes submitted by provider. Authorization approved. Attempted to call to confirm appointments - unable to speak with anyone who could confirm. Transferred to Authorization department, left message - no return call. Utilized chat option on website. Told to contact the office. Showed up to appointment. Called up to front desk and asked if I needed help. Explained situation - notified by front desk that I have no appointments scheduled. Upon talking with front desk, I received a voicemail from Victor with the authorization department. Voicemail says authorizations were approved - just checked portal - and appointments were good to go. Asked for manager. Melany manager rescheduling to 10/7. Asked for manager for provider on the phone and corporate number. Given contact for Cortny. Provider called Cortny, physician liaison. Received call from Melany rescheduling to 9/24. 20 minutes later, received call from scheduling telling me they were rescheduling me for all tests on 9/25. 9/25/2025 - showed up to appointment. Checked in. IV inserted easily by staff. MRI techs very nice and informative. MRI's took about 30 minutes. Total weight time approximately 45 minutes - 1 hour. Stat MRI order SIGNIFICANTLY delayed for almost an entire month due to miscommunication, scheduling errors, and specific managers refusing to return phone calls, despite saying they would. This is very poor business practice and I would like this to be escalated up the chain of command. I did receive a few apologies after my provider contacted the Physician Liason, Cortny. read more
