If you go as a patient to have an injection, request her. Very professional and down to earth. Eases whatever nerves you may have about the injection. Dr Wagner is very up front. Tells you his honest opinion. Tells you what you NEED to hear, not what you WANT to hear. First injection didn't work, which he warned me of statistically beforehand. Second injection is next week. Said he will try twice and no more. He's not trying to add to his bank account by doing countless injections when statistically the chances of them working get drastically lower after #2. Calms my nerves with his great sense of humor. I'd HIGHLY recommend him to friends and my peers in the surgical community. It's a little weird for me personally being under the needle rather than holding it. Great experience though.

Dr. Wagner appears to be the authority for Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) injections, which might help with the tendonitis, and was recommended for prolotherapy of the hip. As an aside, if you're looking to do RPR, make sure you don't have Aetna, as they are the only insurance that doesn't cover this procedure. My DO (who I've reviewed here) refers his patients to Dr. Wagner for prolotherapy of the hip because he does it under fluoroscopy (a continuous X-ray), which is important because the hip joint is such a deep joint you don't want to go in there blind. Dr. Wagner seems like a nice guy, and very knowledgeable in his fields. After the first visit he ordered an MRI with contrast. At the second visit he checked out the MRI and it turns out that I don't have a torn labrum so he was unable to help me, and by the time the second visit came around I had my tendonitis under control. However, his demeanor and his apparent abilities gets him four stars in my book, although it should be noted that I have not had that much interaction with him. One thing that should be known about him is that when the diagnosis deals with something that falls outside his expertise he gives very conservative advice. For example, if one were to have femur-acetabular impingement he would advice no running, rowing, cycling, or any weight lifting that puts additional load onto the hip, even if it doesn't cause pain. This is not a bad thing, but a good thing, playing it safe with issues he's unfamiliar with is very reasonable. I merely mention this because I feel like it should be worth noting.

I went on a search to find a doctor in my network that not only was highly skilled but whom I also felt 100% comfortable in the fact that I was in the best hands that I could possibly be in. When both my neurologist and cardiologist hands-down said Dr. Kalantar was their top recommendation, I immediately got a fourth opinion from him. Yes, he was my fourth but also my final. Everyone in that office is so friendly & wonderful and Dr. Kalantar quickly, and with such awesome care, put a well-informed but very nervous patient - ME - at ease. I am completely confident in his care and completely comfortable with the information given to me. He presents all options and is upfront with his information but in the most gentle way so he puts you at ease. I even learned something my original surgeon (and the other 2) never explained to me. I am ready to roll (or as ready as I can be lol) & will update afterwards.

But for the last three visits, I was taken into a room 15-20 minutes late with no explanation. My appointment should take no more than 15-20 minutes. If I had not left 45 minutes later on my own, I don't know how long I would have sat in that room waiting for the PA. Today I had a 9:15 AM appointment. I waited 20 minutes after my appointment time to be put in a room finally at 9:35 AM, . Once in the room, I waited an additional 15 minutes for the doctor to come in. When Dr. Kaas came in, and she explained she was held up for personal reasons. I then waited for the PA to come in to finish the visit and she did not show up at all. I waited another 20 minutes and I decided to leave. I am 67 years old and have NEVER left a doctor's office in my life. I told the front desk why I left. Five minutes after leaving, I received a phone call from the PA who told me they were short staffed. She invited me to come in today at my convenience to complete the treatment, but I could not. I will not be returning to this practice. This all could have been avoided by a kind explanation at any point in time while I was in the office.

I was seen by Dr. Jay Ryan at this practice back starting in 2025. I went to him for diagnosed foot…read morepain, and he constantly said multiple issues existed. He kept pushing for injections and surgeries. These injections were costly and did not work, and even after understanding that, he kept emphasizing the injections. Finally after refusing the injections multiple times, he suggested multiple surgeries. Dr. Ryan performed one surgery on July 2025, and one again on January 2026. Every time I was seen for debilitating foot pain, he suggested surgery. After each surgery completed, my foot pain got worse and now I can't walk. Dr. Ryan also provided an inaccurate estimate of how long my recovery would be, he did a very intense surgery where a portion of my heel was removed, metal hardware was taken out, and he said I would be able to walk in 2 weeks. Several months later, even after physical therapy, I am unable to walk. I don't think I will ever be able to walk again. After one of my surgeries I was scheduled for a post op with Dr. Ryan, and upon arriving, I was told I could not be seen by him. Dr. Kaas ended up seeing me, and she did not provide a thorough exam of my incisions. She stood on one side of the room where she could not examine my entire foot, and I had multiple stitches on all sides of my feet. Dr. Kaas glanced at me and told me I looked fine. She then denied me any pain medications even though I was told to ask, and I needed them. The front office also is not communicative, and unhelpful. I've had to ask them multiple times to send in pain medication that I needed URGENTLY after my surgery, and they waited days to do so even after they told me they would send it same day. They also refused to prescribe me pain medication, they said a Dr. had to sign off on it but still made me wait - even though Dr. Ryan said he'd send it same day. I feel as though my pain levels were completely disregarded and misdiagnosed at this practice. The front office is also not clear on how the billing works, they never communicated that there would be more than one bill for one surgery, and they also charge a hefty credit card surcharge/processing fee, which I feel is already unfair, and not done at any other practice. Also, for being a medical office that specializes in foot and ankle care, their building is NOT accessible, at all. There are multiple stairs and a steep incline going into the building, no automatic doors at the office. It was extremely hard trying to maneuver an office being disabled and using mobility aids that I brought like a wheelchair, a scooter, a walker, crutches, and a cane. I don't think I will ever be able to walk again after being seen by both Dr. Ryan and Dr. Kaas. Please avoid this office at all costs.

This location, and Dr Caine in particular, have been fantastic in that they are very responsive, know who I am, and keep track of my medical history. Biggest complaint is parking can be limited, and there isn't any option for walkability (not near metro or bus). The surgery itself seemed complicated and he did a great job and I've had a relatively smooth recovery. He never makes you feel dumb for asking a question and he absolutely gives you his full time and attention during the visits, which is not always the case with doctors. His staff have been just so thoughtful and courteous each and every time I've been there. I particularly appreciate the front desk staff who was really kind to me when I had an issue with my physical therapist and listened thoughtfully and took notes even though we were talking about a billing matter related to PT. I had to wait about 45 minutes one follow-up visit, but considering I was fit in as an emergency appointment after my accident and I'm sure someone else had to wait for me, I appreciate that the staff fit that person it because having been in that kind of pain, that person definitely deserved to go first. Other than that time I have always been seen on time. The online portal is fantastic to review your follow up notes and they are really timely about getting any forms filled out you need for other providers or any other reason.

Dr. recommended a procedure which I dutifully completed out of office, then returned with results for follow up appointment--at HIS recommendation, for which I also got charged. And this time only got 1.5 minutes of his time, no plain English explanation or clear recommendation--just a diagnostic write up I couldn't understand because I'm not a doctor. It was a waste of time, and I know which doctor I will not be going back to visit.

I worked with Alec for about half a year and he really helped me work on getting my range of motion and strength! He asked me questions and conducted range of motion tests to create a plan personalized for me. I saw him once or twice a week and then had the companion app at home to log and do my rehab exercises and he even gave me a theraband to use at home. And after each session, they also have water or snacks for you! Overall, I made some good progress and had a great time here. The staff is all very friendly, especially their dog! The space is clean and decorated with encouraging words, a variety of machines, and theres always good music playing to get you in the zone. I would definitely recommend going here.

Aesha is incredibly knowledgeable just from seeing my posture on the day we first met. She explains all of the exercises in detail and provided print outs for me to continue at home. Aesha is always concerned about my pain level before each session, which shows that she truly cares for her patients. Along with being a professional physical therapist, Aesha is also fun to talk to! I did have a session with Yanna Zhou who was also pleasant to work with. Just about everyone at the facility are kind and helpful! The practice offers late appointments that allows you to easily come after work. They also thoroughly sanitize every equipment between patients. After a while, I was frustrated with the 1.5 hour visits (ALWAYS an hour of waiting) and what felt like over analyzing every little lab detail and constant adjustments (which turned out to be unnecessary). I now see a good endocrinologist (still out of pocket) but results are better and process much simpler, more effective and less expensive!
