This is from two separate doctors, neither of which are Inova doctor groups (No problems with Inova doctors, they are great, just these procedures were with other medical groups). The high degree of professionalism and care is really extraordinary. Always treated with a high degree of professionalism from the scheduling, day of intake, surgery, and after care. Nurses and all the staff here are outstanding in every way. Quality care, zero complications. Exceptionally careful, clean, and caring. Whenever we have had a scheduled procedure here, we know we are in good hands.

(This is not including the actual procedure or anesthesia expenses) I had called after it jumped from $90 to $1000 to then almost $4000. I spoke with Tamika who told me that there was an error and spoke with our insurance and that it would be $1000. The next day it changed again. She has told us on the phone our insurance was in network but the estimated fees sent to us kept saying it wasn't. Probably called a total of 5 times in one week and it was a nightmare. My husband ended up called the Friday before his Monday procedure to try to get an answer out of them and on one phone call they changed the estimated fee 3 times. We ended up cancelling and now have to find a new location but this has delayed our son getting the ear tubes he needs. I do not recommend this location!

I ultimately needed 17 stitches. What could have been a frightening and overwhelming experience instead became something I'll always remember for the compassion and professionalism shown to me. Every single person we encountered treated me with patience, kindness, and urgency. I never once felt like "just another patient." I felt cared for. PA Patel, who stitched my hand, was extraordinary. He was meticulous and deliberate in his work, but what stood out even more was how he treated me and my wife throughout the procedure. He explained everything as he went, answered our questions without hesitation, and maintained a calm, steady presence that gave us confidence and reassurance. You could tell he takes pride in doing things the right way -- not just clinically, but humanely. And Nurse Nick brought something just as important -- warmth and humanity. She was upbeat and genuinely kind, taking the time to connect with me as a person. That kind of personal care means almost as much as the medical expertise. We walked into the ER anxious and in distress. We left feeling grateful. To the team at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington: thank you for treating me not just effectively, but compassionately. Your professionalism and heart made all the difference.

Cons: no live wait time on website, registration staff who truly DGAF, dirty waiting area Wait time: 2.3 hours just to get into an exam room (I was balled up in a corner in pain and begged for a blanket because it was cold inside and 50 degrees outside. They triaged me, took blood and urine and had me remain in the waiting room. Once I actually got into an exam room, things started to move more quickly. Care: Dr. Sidara was actually the saving grace here. He was incredibly nice and thorough, spoke to me with respect and care, and worked to address my issues as soon as possible. He was even able to pull info from past doctors visits, which included a slight ear infection and double checked my ears while I was there to make sure he didn't miss anything further. I won't go into all of the details of what he discovered, but had he not caught one thing in particular, I might still be in excruciating pain. What I didn't like is the fact that I was in an exam room for maybe 30 minutes, then they took me to get a CT. And once I finished the CT, I was not taken back to the exam room, but taken to the "results waiting" room. There, my IV hung in front of me, without being connected, for about an hour. When all of my results were back, the doctor returned to me and told me all the findings and the plan moving forward. I do wish they would have kept me overnight so that I could continue to be monitored and receive pain management medication, but I understand that's not necessarily typical treatment for what I was experiencing. Shortly after the doctor checked in with me, my discharge papers were drafted, and I was on my way out. I was there from 3:50-9 p.m. ish.

On one call, a recorded message said, "Stop calling, you jackass." When I did reach a live person on a later call, the man who answered was hostile rather than helpful and told me to stop calling and never call again. I also submitted a written inquiry through their website explaining what I was looking for. I reached out here because of the strong reviews, so this was shocking and disappointing. Whatever is going on with how calls are handled, it's worth other prospective patients knowing before they try to book.

She was first taken to another hospital, where the plan was to put her under anesthesia to reset her shoulder. Because she had a life-threatening reaction to anesthesia about 10 years ago, when she flatlined during surgery, we were extremely hesitant. Combined with the circumstances there, we decided to take her to Fairfax Hospital. That decision led us to Dr. Titus Park and his incredible team, and we are so thankful it did. From the moment we arrived, Dr. Park had a clear plan that did not involve anesthesia. He immediately put our entire family at ease with his calm confidence, compassion, and professionalism. My daughter was in excruciating pain--a true 10 out of 10. She asked one of the nurses if she would pray with her, and without hesitation, she kindly did. That simple act of kindness meant more than words can express. When Dr. Park successfully put her shoulder back into place, the relief was immediate. My daughter looked him in the eyes and said, "I could just kiss you!" It was such a heartfelt expression of gratitude because her pain was instantly gone. What also stood out was Dr. Park's wonderful bedside manner. Even in the middle of a stressful situation, he found a way to make us smile. He asked my two daughters, now both in their late 30s, which one was my favorite and which one had been the cutest baby. They both immediately raised their hands and looked at me, and I just turned my head. We all burst into laughter. It was exactly the kind of lighthearted moment our family needed. Dr. Park and his entire team turned an unbearable situation into a bearable one through their exceptional medical care, kindness, compassion, and genuine concern for both their patient and her family. We will never forget the care we received. Thank you, Dr. Park and your amazing team, for giving our daughter relief and giving our family peace of mind. We are forever grateful.

Unfortunately, the ER experience is no better; the priority is clearly "patient turnover" rather than "patient wellness." Every visit follows the same script: Urgent Care dismisses us with ineffective antibiotics for a supposed ear infection, and the ER rushes to discharge us without investigating the underlying cause. The staff is increasingly irritable, and the doctors seem to rely on snap judgments rather than diagnostic testing. It feels like the Hippocratic Oath has been traded for the bottom line. We aren't here for fun; we are here for help that we aren't receiving.
