These people can be charged criminally for what they did and i intend to pursue at minimum Civil Action against these scammers who took advantage of a poor woman. It wasn't just overcharging for parts or unecessary and not-done work. It was obscene! Example: head bolts: over 300 dollars more than what a dealer would charge for the same item! AARP Fasteners for drag racing would be hundreds less. And that is just the tip of the iceberg. That is beyond price gouging, that is criminal fraud. And the fleeced her for over 2,000 dollars like that.

I got my care back and took it somewhere else and was told that it was the sensor going out and need transmission fluid and it will only cost around $800.00. I will not ever go back to AAMCO ever again since they were trying to over charge me for the service.

The owner was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and went over the Allison Trans problems prior to 2006 models. He explained why the cost was so high at the other shop and relieved my fears I was getting ripped off. If I had it to do over again this gentleman would be doing the job. Not often a shop will give advise and time to some one they are not getting paid by. I would highly recommend Medford Trans and clutch.
