Awful experience. My girlfriend needed to go to an urgent care clinic and this was the closest one. Office looks tired and dilapidated. We checked in at 1pm and sat for nearly an hour. We were then taken to an exam room where a seriously bored nurse took her vitals and asked her flat questions directly from a sheet like a survey. No personalization to her condition. At Advanced Urgent Care, pain can be described one of four ways and if your pain doesn't fall into that category you're asked to "just pick one." We then waited another hour for a doctor to arrive. In the meantime the poor lady in the exam room next to us came to visit and asked how long we'd been waiting for. She said she'd been in that room since 10am....it was now 3:00 in the afternoon. After that we walked out. I should add that we never once saw a doctor walking around the entire time we were there. Avoid avoid avoid. read more

This facility itself is horribly disorganized, is physically falling apart, and normal wait times run into multiple hours. The staff at the receiving desk were friendly and helpful. The x-ray tech, Aileen, lacks in bedside manner almost completely. She took my triage information and was extremely insensitive toward the overwhelming anxiety I was feeling. (Everyone is on edge between the noise on the highway outside and the long wait times.) The place is a perfect storm for anxiety: being located on a busy highway and possessing a waiting room that is continually full. Even when one is moved to a room in the back, you can expect to wait anywhere between 30 and 90 minutes. I honestly wish I had anything truly good to say about the place. The doctor on staff this day (Dr. Brown) takes his time with patients, but also in absolutely everything he does. Dr. Brown has been curt and condescending on two occasions now. I just went here today and the receptionist was f bombing the rest of the staff the whole time with children in the lobby. She finally got in a screaming match with the doctor and he walked out and drove away. He was the only doctor there with people waiting in rooms and in the waiting area. I left and went next door to Patient First and couldn't have had a better experience. It was something straight out of a reality show. read more

Worst experience I've ever had with any healthcare facility. They really should learn how to treat their patients with a little respect.

The only lights on are over their desk and the people behind the counter will only interact with other people of their same ethic background. Everyone else is ignored. They pick up the phone when it rings then hang it up immediately without taking calls and the medication form is prefilled out with the pain meds they give without even meeting me. Feeling sick, so I decided to head to Advanced Urgent Care in Montgomeryville. As I was pulling into the parking lot, the large OPEN sign was illuminated. But I do not know why. After filling out the paperwork, and waiting for 30 minutes, I was taken to the "room" and the practitioner there took my vitals. He then said to wait for the doctor. Another 20+ minuted later he came and said the Doctor is not there, and they have no idea when he will be. And that I should go back out front to wait. When I asked how long I would need to wait he said he had no idea, since the doctor was at another facility. So, After almost an hour of waiting with no doctor in sight, I decided to just leave. NEVER GO HERE! Even if your bleeding from an extremity, your better off not coming here. The staff is extremely rude and can careless about your needs. I have very good insurance and can go to any doctor without a referral but I found myself having a lot of knee pain one day and no local orthopedist could see me that day. I made the WORST decision by coming here. The "nurse" barely said 2 words to me, the equipment was filthy. The doctor, who never told me his real name, is bogus. He wiggled my knee and said I had a meniscus tear (as he stares at my boobs or the TV most of the conversation). Wrote me a script for an MRI and flash forward to two weeks later, while I'm still in pain.. Has yet to call my insurance for the pre certification. I called 6 times to follow up and I keep getting the run around. Finally today some rude girl answers the phone and I politely (even though I had every right to be mad) said that I was calling to check on the status of my precert. She says "Its...on...the...doctors...desk" I said "well you never even asked who I was" she states"yeah well we have caller ID" I stated that I was told the precert would be sent in last week. Her response? "Do I sound like the doctor" I let her know her attitude was horrible and the place should be shut down and hung up. I called my insurance to cancel my precert with him and will be filing a formal complaint. My knee could be gradually getting worse and needs treatment, possibly surgery, and I can't get a simple form signed. I work in this industry and no matter how bad my day is, I have an obligation to my patients to make sure their quality of life and welfare is first. I hope this hinders someone else from making the same terrible decision. Yelp really needs to come up with negative star ratings. read more

Worst place ever for medical care. I went in with a sinus infection. Waited for 30 minutes before a nurse came to get me. He had no professional manners at all. Asked me couple of questions and left me in the exam room. Waited for the doctor for another 45 minutes and I just couldn't do it anymore. I walked out. Stay away from this place!!! I have not been to this place in quite some time and the reason for my low rating does not have anything to do with the care provided. I don't make a practice of writing bad reviews. My daughter received service for a broken ankle. After the insurance paid its portion of the bill, we were left with a balance. The balance was paid over time and paid in full. Six months after the bill was paid n full, I got a letter from a collection agency looking for payment. Long story short, the collection agency threatened and hung up on me. The accounts receivable department admitted that the account was sent to collection by accident. I asked for a written apology from both the collection agency and Advanced Urgent Care. I was told "that's not going to happen." Instead, I got a paid in full receipt. While the idea of having a facility like Advance Urgent Care is nice and having the option of Patient First right next door is very good. I would never visit Advanced Urgent Care Again because of how poorly the accounting is handled. read more

Went here to have a rash on the arm checked out as a concern for MRSA. Doctor told me it wasn't MRSA just by looking at it. Little did she know I am an RN, I don't tell people I'm a healthcare professional. Just curious as how one can diagnose MRSA without actually obtaining a nasal swab or culture. This place is absolutely terrible. They make you schedule an appointment now, but yet still do walk ins, so if you have an appointment at 1 and someone walks in at the same time they take them first. There were three foreign ladies here last time I was there who ALL walked back at the same time, really?!?!?! I had an appointment at 1 and got here at 12:45 and I didn't get seen till 4:30 and didn't walk out until 5PM. Terrible organizations and the one nurse is a real bitch! Not sure why things haven't been turned around with all these one star reviews but it doesn't even deserve that. I called for some information and the receptionist was in a terrible mood and very unpleasant. Upon arriving continued miserable attitude from the staff And everyone spoke very low I could barely understand what they were saying. The doctor didn't really care what I was there for and let me name the drug I wanted and how much I wanted and did I want anything else. This is a drug addicts dream doctor. It's a shame how easy he would write a script. Never returning. Clean up your facility and rehire staff. read more

My husband and I took our 8 month old here while we were in town for the holidays, and here is why you should NEVER go here: -the most medical term the nurse used was "stuff" -the nurse said to us "Your son was born on 4/20? That's a weird date.." -the doctor wanted to take a urine sample...of an 8 month old -the doctor told us, "Babies don't have sinuses." -the doctor had to write out "2x2x2x2" to figure out what 4x2 equals, like a 6 year old would do. -we over heard the staff in the hallway referring to our son as "the baby", not once calling him by his name -we over heard the staff talking in the hall way saying "should we just tell them to go to the ER?" -the nurse and doctor did not wash their hands. Horribly disorganized !!! Rude Office Staff. Doctor was fine. Reading other reviews it seems my experience is consistent with others. Paid with a credit card when my son sprained his ankle because I didn't have my insurance card with me. Was promised an itemized receipt would be sent so I could submit to insurance for reimbursement. After 2 weeks I called Urgent Care and was told no receipt would be sent. They suggested I give them my insurance info. They promised they would submit and reimburse my credit card. NOPE !!! They never submitted it and stopped taking my calls or returning my messages and emails. So I paid $300.00 for a service that is 100% covered by my insurance and they won't give me a receipt so I can submit it, nor will they submit the claim. Incompetent and/or indifferent would be a fair description of this organization. read more

Absolutely horrible. I went in for a DOT physical. I was told the physician who was certified to perform the physical was there that day, but he was not. The medical assistants did the medical screening and checked my blood pressure with an automatic machine. The reading came up high. After a lengthy wait, a NON-DOT CERTIFIED physician stumbled into the room and said the blood pressure is high, take a prescription medication for a few days, then come back the following week to have it rechecked. I obliged. I came back the following week and the doctor was no where to be found. The medical assist again checked my blood pressure with the same machine as previously. The blood pressure was almost exactly the same, if not a bit higher. The staff then decided to check the blood pressure manually. They discovered that it was actually perfectly normal...over 30 mmHg lower than the automatic machine read. Based on that, it can be safely assumed that the automatic blood pressure machine was grossly inaccurate on both visits and the prescription medication was both unnecessary and inappropriate. This would have been discovered on the first visit if the blood pressure had been verified manually as is required by law. When I spoke with the medical director regarding my concerns, he tried to lie to me and say the blood pressure always fluctuates but that much. I then explained to him that I have extensive medical experience and he changed his tune and simply stated he would cancel my DOT certification and refused to refund my money. He was obviously only interested in keeping his money and could not have cared less about what is best for the patient. read more

I downloaded the yelp app so that I could write this review. This place is absolutely horrible! Avoid by all means! I was billed almost $400 and was sent bills indicating that if I didn't pay my account would be turned over to a collection agency. They didn't even put it thru my insurance! Ended up my co-pay was very minimal and was sent the correct bill almost a year after I was seen at this facility. Hopefully this will save others from going to the horrible place!!!! I was there 18 months ago when my daughter cut her finger and needed stitches. 18 months ago. We got a bill this week. $349 to walk in the door and $320 for the stitches. After insurance paid their part I am left with a bill for $362.00 due next week. I was told the $349 was "for the doctors time". We waited 3 hours for 4 stitches. Do not go to this place. I have found the medical care to be good in the past but I have been having the worst experience with their billing people whose submission for reimbursement triggered a headache of poor followup. Not even worth the one star...they didn't even know what a receipt for Flex was...disappointed in the facilities

Honestly this was the most terrifying experience of my entire life. The conditions and competence levels of the nurses and doctors were frightening. All I needed done was a simple strep throat test and it was an absolute disaster. I walked into a run down waiting room where nurses and doctors are screaming at each other and complaining about patients in front of other patients. When I was finally called back the "nurse" began taking my vital signs which proved to be too difficult for her. She was confused as to why the BP cuff wasn't giving a reading WHEN SHE WASNT EVEN PUMPING UP THE CUFF. Then she asked me questions that had no relevance to why I was there like "have you had any lacerations before your throat started hurting?". These questions almost brought me to laughter out of shear disbelief. Then I was told to wait for the doctor in another room. The room was covered in food wrappers, dirt, and flies. When she finally arrived she was wearing a urologist jacket and did not introduce herself at all. I explained what was wrong with me so she wanted to look at my throat. However, all of the examination lights were broken so she says "well it's your throat that hurts, not your legs, walk with me". She then takes me into another room where the observation table had fecal matter smeared on it. After seeing this she screams at some of the obviously incompetent workers to clean this "f****** gross room up"...very professional doc. Finally she looks at my throat and says "yup looks bad, here is a script for antibiotics, have a nice day" and then left. This place needs to be reported to the Better Business Bureau and get shut down immediately before someone gets hurt. read more

I was charged $349.00 for a 30-second evaluation from a physician with a resulting diagnosis that I should purchase and apply Orajell to an ulcer. I spent a total of 5 minutes with the physician at Advanced Urgent Care of Montgomeryville. I highly recommend that you go to your local Walgreen's for higher quality healthcare services at a significantly lower cost. read more

I have never been somewhere as terrible as this practice here. First off, the place is sketchy as hell. It is also impossible to get into the parking lot. (Terrible location). The doctor is very rude and will not take the time to listen to what you have to say. Got stuck 5 times with needles and their staff couldn't take my blood. "Let me get you someone who knows what's they're doing". I'm sorry but if someone comes at me with a needle I expect them to know what they're doing. This place has got to be shut down. Only gave a 1 because zero is not an option. Honestly, you are better off going to Web MD to figure out what is wrong with you. I can not even begin to describe how rude and ignorant the staff are here and how cuckoo the doctor was today. Honestly, I was in for a simple physical exam and tb test for a new job and it was a disaster. I wanted to leave as I felt uncomfortable and had no faith in this place. First as I walked in, nobody could even bother to look up from the desk to acknowledge me. I was there right as they opened at 9 am and was the 3rd person there, so they weren't busy. Being my first time there, I had no idea what the procedure was, so when I asked I was very rudely told "fill out the papers". I was asked 4 different times why I was there, by the same person! There was an argument int he waiting room because an obnoxious patient was taken back first even though she wasn't there first and again the staff told the lady questioning to sit down and wait her turn. While waiting in the waiting room, nurse 1 asks nurse 2 if she could give the tb test. "Well I have done them, but not a lot and that she wasn't comfortable. They made her do it anyway. Comforting discussion in front of a patient! I go back to the room and honestly I can hear EVERY SINGLE conversation between the doctor and the patients in EVERY other room, including the patient I had seen in the waiting room talking a bout what was wrong with her and what medications she was on (umm HIPAA violations anyone)? One 3 separate occassions, nurses cursed in front of me, including the one doing my tb test "These gloves are so f****ing stupid". Just so unprofessional to talk that way in front of patient. Another staff member was stomping around the halls complaining about other patients in front of everyone and in the halls where you could hear her in the rooms yet again. During my "physical" nothing was done. The nurse never took my height or weight instead asked me what they were.. really? During my TB test she said she was trying to be careful so it wouldn't leak all over the place.. umm confidence much? I knew she was doing wrong because being in the education field and having this shot numerous times, the angle she was going in was not correct. She complained about the bp machine and how she hates certain ones and doesn't do what she is supposed to because of it and uses a different one. The doctor, who did nothing but listen to my chest and back did nothing but criticize my weight (mind you I am actually not overweight nor am I obese, but he felt I could lose a few pounds). He was older than dirt and not sure he should even have a license. He did not introduce himself and couldn't tell you his name to save my life because NOBODY there introduces themselves. I could not be horrified by the experience I had at this place and I HIGHLY recommend you go elsewhere! Patient First is right next door and much nicer to deal with! I made this mistake once and never again! The Board of Health or whomever license this place is also getting a phone call and possibly even the Better Business Bureau, because charging $108.00 for me to tell you my vitals and information is not cool! A female doctor was standing at reception and the receptionist asked if she wanted to see a peds patient. The response, from the 'doctor', was 'not so much'. They told us to go to the ER. We had, by far, the worst experience we have ever had with any medical provider I have ever been to...and I've been to Africa. We thought my daughter might have broken her foot. We took her there. Initially everything was great, we didn't wait long, they x-rayed her. The Doctor said they he thought it was broken, but they would call us the next day with the results of the x-Ray. When asked how we should be handling her in the mean time, he was not able to tell us anything. Couldn't tell us whether she should put weight on it, take anything for pain, put ice on it, elevate it...nothing. He would not give us any direction. So, we wait until the next day for their call...Nothing. I call them, and I'm told by a guy who answers the phone: "I don't know what is happening with her x-Ray results." After several holds he tells me someone will call me back. Surprise...no one calls back. I call again, and the guy gets irritated with me and says, "you're just going to have to wait." I get angry and say we need five minutes to know if it is broken and what we should do. On hold again. A woman gets on the phone. She says let me check with the Doctor. I hear her speaking with the doctor, because she forgets to hit hold. The doctor says in an angry voice, "just tell them to do whatever the doctor they saw last night told them to do." She comes back, and I say: "that's the problem, we weren't told anything." The doctor says he will not tell us what to do because he was not the one who saw her, and the doctor who saw her won't be in until Tuesday. The woman on the phone then apologizes to me, and says: "I'm so sorry, this doctor is new and he is kind of ignorant." UNBELIEVABLE!!! Next time we will just go to the ER. read more

This facility has the worst members working for it, including the doctors. They are rude and have no sense of anything. I clearly don't even think some of them attended school for the service they provide. They checked my pressure for about 10 times (including the doctor) and then I was informed that I would need to get blood drawn and then they could really tell if I do have high blood pressure. I did as they instructed, went to the facility the next morning, had my blood drawn. The "nurse" (not sure if she was certified or even trained well) inserted the needle into my one vein and when she realized no blood was being drawn, she decided to go to other veins (with the needle already inside my arm). I have bruises from that and still have trouble with pain a little. It's now been 2 weeks and the facility will not give me my reports. Each time I call they have a different story. The "girl" (not so professional) told me she will have the doctor call me and I was still WAITING!. I honestly don't even think they have my reports. This facility is the worst and they need to be re-re-trained. They also neglected to let me know what my insurance covers and what my insurance does not cover. Just by that error I received my insurance claim for $3,222.20 where I have to pay $2,763.92 out of pocket. They disgust me and should just really shut down already. I wish I would have rather visited Patient First who are right next door. I regret not doing that. read more
