Please trust me when I say to stay with the smaller shops who do a good job at a reasonable price, like McIntyre's Soft Water Service or Wolverine Water Treatment. They've both been around for 40 years with the original owners still working there. They will take their time, not be in a hurry, and explain everything to you. Beauchamps installation people are untrustworthy, sloppy, do a poor job, and leave the house a mess. The sale person said they have 'master plumbers'. The installation person laughed when I mentioned that to him. He said he wish he was a master plumber. Beauchamps has to hire pretty much anywho they can get to get the job done as quickly as they can and hope customer standards are low. They will always be rushed, in a hurry, and learning as they go. They have NO pride in their work. For that, your installation will be sloppy and compromised ! Sales talk a good a talk but you don't see the full picture until installation shows up. Then it's too late. Goto any location and see if you like what you see. The people you will have to deal with when something goes wrong. Think about it and don't be in a hurry to buy. It's a big investment. Don't go for the modern store look as it's all show. Go for those that are honest and will be there for you when something goes wrong. I wish more people would see our message.

Showed up on time and fixed the leak and replaced a damaged hose bib frost faucet in my garage. All done within an hour and a half. The plumber was very experienced, professional, and was respectful of our home. I was pleasantly surprised with the cost which included the expected service fee. We did not have a good experience with this company. We first called them to fix a shower fixture…read morethat was dripping. It's an older fixture, but the plumber said he could fix it, though it needed a new $62 part. He fixed the drip, though he hooked it up with the hot & cold reversed from how it had been previously. No biggie, we could deal. When he left, things seemed to be fine and we paid the bill of $325. Fast forward to the beginning of HOT weather and we discover that the shower dial is set so that we can't get a really cool water in the shower - it's all hot. So we call them back to adjust it so we can have both hot and cold showers. The same guy comes out and "fixes it." He comments that it's an old, outdated faucet, but he indicates it's fixed. Next morning, I go for a nice hot shower and discover that now we have only cool and cold showers. Even when turned so it should be only hot water coming out, the shower is too cold for me to get in. When I called and asked to speak to the manager, "Alex," he told me I was making a big deal out of nothing, that his worker said it was fixed and so, it must have been fixed. He told me we probably needed to get a whole new fixture because this one was so old, and he implied that we weren't willing to do so. I pointed out that the plumber left, saying the shower was fixed, and he never mentioned that we should buy a new fixture. He just left us with a cold shower. If we need a new fixture we would happily pay for one, but instead he just left us with an unusable one. The manager also told me that he believed his worker when he said it was fixed, rather than believing me, and he accused me of saying his worker was "lying." (Not at all. I don't think he was lying, he just didn't fix the faucet right.) Oh, and they couldn't get back to us until 1 week from today! So we have an unusable shower for the next week. I'm done with these guys, and will go with someone more reputable.

I also needed a few faucets changed out. I knew it was going to cost $$$ but wanted to make sure I had quality work done without getting ripped off. I followed the recommendations of a few people and had olde towne plumbing replace pipes in my basement, install some shut off valves, and replace two bathroom faucets. I am SO HAPPY I went with them. I felt the price, professionalism and quality of the work was well worth the price they quoted/charged me. I called around to find a plumber and a mechanical person. Some of the quotes were outrageous. Alex came and gave me a quote that was half the cost of what I was getting. The plumbers had to come out four times at different stages. Meredith was patient and efficient, scheduling with the building department and her staff. Special thanks to Matt, Jeremiah, Tom, and others. Alex also went beyond to have his crew install my gas stove and new utility basement sink. Everyone showed up on time, professional, efficient, and friendly. And they cleaned up thoroughly after each job. Highly recommended!

Sean showed up looking like the professional he is. Sean started by checking our replacement toilets for cracks and defects. Then he removed the old toilets and installed their replacements. Those old toilets were HEAVY, but Sean carried them downsairs making sure he protected our house and stairs from any damage. When he was done, Sean checked his work carefully and then cleaned up after himself. What a great job - those toilets look like they were always meant to be there. I was told that they will come between 4 pm and 7 PM. Got call around 2:30 PM that Charles would come within 30 minutes. Charles came on time and he is very nice and professional. He told me that this is a fixed price for our job, which is very reasonable price. The job was done within 30 minutes. After job was done Charles did a thorough testing and also check basement to make sure there was no leaking.Charles also told me how to maintain the kitchen pipe to avoid back up. We are very happy with the service we received and will certainly call Michigan Power Rodding for any plumbing issues in the future!

John, the owner called me to see how the work was going and if I had any issues. There were none because all of them were outstanding to deal with. They were all a blessing to my family for the way they worked and their professionalism and personalities. My house now has safe wiring and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them and have them do any future work for me and my family. They showed up when they said they would, kept us informed of the progress, etc. I cannot say enough good things to really do them justice. I felt the owner and the electricians really took an interest in our needs.
